Ok,
Rooted and unlocked the mega now no service. Searched for 16 hours on how to fix the network. I have a friend who forwarded me both the nvm and also a clean efs file. No matter what i do i can not get service. It shows service and 4g lte then when you dial the phone number and press dial it drops to 4g then the signal bars, and then the no service signal. I have checked the imei and its clean. Also the imei is NOT null or 0 out. If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.
Also i have already tried to reflash the firmware and that did not work either.
I read in another forum alot of people had success with a good qcn file from rekamyenoM but i could never find the file. I did download some other qcn files but they did not work. It was working fine on att before i tried to unlock it.
Again any help would be appreciated.

I recently rooted my i527 then unlocked it for use on T-Mobile, And it was working just fine, Getting Signal and EDGE, So earlier this morning I took out my sim card and rebooted the phone a few times, Changing the APN from epc.tmobile.com to fast.tmobile.com thinking that was going to get me from going from EDGE to 4G or LTE... Yeah Right! Little did I know, It requires a lot more than just changing the APN.. But thats beside the point.
Anyway, While I was taking my sim out and rebooting, After once or twice of doing this, The phone would not come up with T-Mobile signal AT ALL. After a while of just blankness it would pick up What Im guessing is WCDMA signal or something, But not T-Mobile Active signal like it was doing just fine before. So after 20 or so reboots (thinking that was the problem), And looking around, I noticed that the phone is not issuing a IMEI number. Not in settings, and not *#06# either. The IMEI number has been lost. When I go to settings to view it in About Device it just says "Unknown". I'm assuming this is my problem, Once I get the phones IMEI number back, It will pick up T-Mobile signal again.
At the beginning of this, I was simply trying to get high speed data on the device.. Now I can't even make and receive phone calls. :crying: Any help on how to recover the IMEI would be great, and highly appreciated.
Thanks

If you still have the unlock code try reseting the phone using kies... then see if your imei comes back..
Used ODIN to install correct ROM. This might help.
Get your officla ROM from http://www.sammobile.com/

SamMobile still doesn't have AT&T sgh-i527 firmware. Use kies to recover your phone or odin with the posted firmware on this forum. Kies would be the safest.

I tried to flash using the bootloader option in ODIN with the MD5 File from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2558602 in which the flash was successful, HOWEVER No IMEI Recovery.. The baseband and build number changed but the IMEI still says Unknown.
Does any one have any solution? Any idea on how to recover the IMEI?
Thanks

You will need Microsoft .NET Framework v4.0 installed on your computer Use efs professional on your computer found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308546
make sure you have root and install busybox on phone. run the EFS Professional exe file from the downloaded file from link i posted there will be a pop up window with three options pick the efs professional tab give it time to connect you will need to give permission on phone for adb if all done right it will say ready on program. across top of the program there will be four tabs click the qualcomm tab now there will be more options click on qualcomm nv tools tab let it connect. now there will be a new window for qualcomm nv tools hit the connect button now you will see your imei at bottom if your imei is not there put it in imei box and then click the write tab. hope this helps.
I'm here because I have a really big problem with my phone, I can't send any message and I can't call because my phone can't registered on GSM or 3G network. I can receive signal from networks but I can't register on it, when I select a network it's showing a message saying : "Can't register on network now, try again later". The strange things is that it just append suddenly, all was perfectly working about 2 years now. It append when I switch preferred network from 3G to 2G. At this point everything was fine, but after that, I reboot the phone and then I was unable to registered on network.
I've try many things, I was on running on CyanogenMod 11 Nightlies so I flash CyanogenMod 10.1 stable but it didn't change anything. I've also tried different radio, I was using XXKDH for 2 years so I tried to switch to XXKG2 but it didn't worked.
I've also tried to put the original Samsung Firmware, it didn't worked.
The problem is really coming from the phone because I tried to use my SIM card on another phone and it worked.
I really lost now and I don't know what to do. Is my antenna broke suddenly?
Please help me.
EDIT:
I find that the IMEI showed by *#06# was different from the one behind my battery. So, like few peoples I have the 0049XXXXX IMEI, I'm actually trying to fix my IMEI with this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/imei-baseband-guide-t1596842 and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-recover-imei-9-steps-t1264021 but for the moment nothing is working.
I can't find the .nv_data file so I guess I'm just ****'d but I will try something with .bak files and the efsbackup.tar.gz that was on my SD card for no reason. The most interesting thing I found on the efsbackup.tar.gz is this log file on attachment. Anyone now about what append?
I've also find that my imei folder was empty. Is this normal?
Please someone help me, I dont know if this post is allowed here or where to put it. Im just desperately needing a help..
I've flashed my rom, everything is fine. I found the right rom for my device.. Everything is working fine except the sim card.. The problem is, my phone is detecting my sim, but I dont have "signal bars logo" in upper right and my Sim Management is grayed out.. I cant access Sim toolkit too.
I got my Imei number and its not "null" or "invalid".
I just dont know why theres no network.. :'(
Or this problem, when i tried wiping the data and cache using recovery mode, the samsung logo is vanished and the phone are able to detect the sim card, but since the imei number is "null" or "invalid", I dont have signal. So i tried restoring my imei and everything is fine. I got signal.
But the problem is, When i switch the data on, Im only getting an Edge signal(E) and not WCDMA(H). When i tried to change the setting by making it "WCDMA only", my signal lost.
Its like, the phone lost its capability of having a 3G signal.. How to fix this problem?
Please, someone help me. Ive already spent 3 days of searching but still no solution.. Please please someone help..
See my device's info below, and if ever someone knows or someone has same rom of my device, please send me a download link..
Thanks in advance!
Heres the screenshot and see, I dont have signal and sim management is grey and cant open..

A few days ago LG G2 Mini LTE D620FR was suddendly bricked. After I searched on the internet, I found a solution how to unbrick it. Although I flashed the certain kdz file according to its IMEI number, I have no service on it.
My IMEI indicates that my product comes from France but I'm using it in another country (Greece) so also flashed the greek rom but nothing changed.
Sim cards from various carriers are detected (Cosmote and Vodafone) but it shows zero signal.
Also before the brick the phone worked fine (cellular network) and it wasn't rooted.
I have been searching for days in order to find a solution, so I really appreciate if any of you have a clue about how to overcome this problem.
Thanx in advance
The problem might be on the EFS partition.
I think that's how it's called.
It contains information required to connect to the network.
I'm not sure how to fix it. Look it up online.

Alright, I'll check about the EFS and I'll let you know whether I solved the problem or not.
Thanks for the reply. :fingers-crossed:
I'm using kenzo from two years.
Recently I flashed miui9 official beta ROM.after that next day I can't get even 2g speed (around 80-90kbps). I tried lot of roms, patches, even flashed the modem via adb method and flashed latest firmwares, and I also downgraded to the older miui versions ? but nothing worked. I used my sim card in my friend's mobile (yeah kenzo) and he got perfect speed.
So ,if there any possible solutions please let me know and kindly help me.
Few things to check and try at your own risk
Verify your APN settings
Dial *#*#4636#*#* and check under phone info your network is LTE
repair your EFS partition http://en.miui.com/thread-453643-1-1.html
Repair your QCN http://en.miui.com/thread-335643-1-1.html
