Has anyone seen the regular wireless charging back covers for sale anywhere (not the QuickCircle cases)?
There is a rumor that US may not get the wireless charging cover built-in like other countries and will have to resort to buying the QuickCircle case if you wanted that feature. I really hate flip cases and would much rather just replace the original cover with the same type.
Perhaps any spares for other countries for sale? Have searched on eBay and as of this date not able to find any although the device is on sale in Korea already.
I've been searching around for LG G3 back cover parts, but I couldn't find any. Hopefully just swapping back covers will get you wireless charging!
I can't find anything online as well. Perhaps they might pop up when LG G3 gets released in the USA.
Or butcher a circle case? Yeah I'm waiting for eBay too.

Worst comes to worst that's what I'll have to do, but seeing as how the international variant has a wireless charging back cover I really can't see there NOT being replacement backs on eBay sooner or later (worst case I'll just call Samsung and order one directly if I have to). The only question is if there will be any modifications of the physical contacts on the US variants. We'll have to wait and see. The Verizon model is launching July 17 so we're not too long now.
I have the Korean variant - there's no wireless charging back. Is only on European and international versions.

Oh my mistake, I meant international. Fixed.
I can't wait for LG to release these back panels listed. Although we may have to import them because qi never seems to really make it over to the US in a big way like it does overseas.

Did I get that right: In die korean version, the qi-charging dock is included, but the G3-back-cover does not support qi-charging out of the box whereas in the european version the dock is not included, but the G3-back-cover supports wireless charging by default?
That sounds quite absurd...
No. Charging dock is not included in Korean version - just a stand.

As per the video below the guy shows and explains that the contacts between the European (international) version and Korean version are not only different in size but also positioning as well.
I wonder what this means for the US version. :/

Not good. But we'll get some compatible suport on ebay.
wow what an ass move by G3 to position the pins differently between the versions. but anyhow, like other members have suggested, just grab another cover with Qi charging tabs, and just place it in the original back cover and you're set to go. i rather be left with this option and have 3gb of ram than the European's 2GB counterpart.
It was because the Korean model has a tv antenna so they moved it in the other variants because they don't have one. I have the F400S and I'm sure they will release qi covers for it.

Seems like its thicker than the normal back cover and contains a sort of case as well. I might actually ask them and see if it is the case. Will let you guys know if anyone is interested
Looks like this should work on US models (except AT&T variant because they screwed everyone over and swapped to PMA instead of Qi charging).

I ordered a silicone gel rubber case from eBay seller case_ology yesterday, & awoke this morning to find a message from them. The message explained that the case I'd bought had been a part of a shipment that had been mislabeled by the manufacturer, & were in fact cases for the Sprint version. Sounds familiar, right? Well, the seller, instead of just sending me a Sprint case, offered an immediate refund, or that I could wait until the correct cases arrived early next week.
I was just impressed with the professionalism & thought I'd pass on the info.
Any chance there's any in white? Kinda tired of having a dark phone when my jackets and purses are dark toned and I can't find it.

..what? They're the same damn phone. The only difference is the size of the camera lens assembly, apparently the 13mp camera isn't flush with the body. Or does the LS970 case not have a cutout for the SD/SIM sockets on the left side? .. and why would you WANT one?
I've had the E970 and E971 in my hands side-by-side, that's the only external difference between those two.
No, they are not the same phone. The Sprint version is longer and rounded corners while the AT&T version is wider and has squared corners. And Sprint does not have a SIM/SD card slot. Calm your rampage and do research lol.

Yeah - The AT&T version must be an AT&T exclusive. The Sprint version is the same as the international one externally from what I see. So I guess we're very much a niche market unless LG releases the E970 version internationally also. Or, to put it another way, we're probably going to be waiting a bit for some more case love.

Its a good thing as you get MicroSD card or you would of had none.
SD card actually isn't important to me considering 16gb internal.
I'm not even using the SD card yet and I've only used 2 of the internal.

the issue is not so much as cheap batteries, but the lack of NFC on the cheap batteries.
Samsung's site has no listings for anything of value beyond GG and S-View covers, no batteries, no cases, no nothing.

The Anker battery seems way to expensive than the past batteries I bought from them for some reason or maybe I'm used to their bundle. 2 batteries and 1 charger for $30 or something like that.
I'm not going for the anker for four reasons:
1. They're made in China, and the Samsung ones are usually Korea (still trying to exhange my Note III for a Korean Model
2. They're uglier than the OEM ones (I carry these in my pocket and swap daily throughout the day, I want them to look decent)
3. They don't include a carrying case (my Note II batteries did, which helps protect the moisture warranty-void stickers from getting wet, which happened to my S3 batteries without the cases (I carry contact cases in the same pocket as batteries at work)
4. They don't have the option to come with that super cool portable battery charger from Samsung or something equivalent. God that looks awesome for on-the-go charging!
SO Samsung, PLEASE RELEASE THE KRAKEN... err.. Batteries. Release the damn batteries already. and soon :fingers-crossed:

That one's smaller, not designed for the Note 3, connector is also the old USB 2.0 design
That cheaper plug still works (N2 plugs, etc still work on N3 just not USB3)
However, thats making the phone stand up on its own weight almost & is puttting more stress on the plug then there really should be (hence the cheapness, bad not thought out design) I actually had a iphone 5 dock from china that I got for $4 the lightning plug snapped off from the phones free standing weight.
Ive owned those cheapy chinese docks for other phones, and...Honestly NOT worth the money even at that price. Finding one that has actual support behind the phone would be better...

Just ordered mine. Pretty cheap, even if I end up not using it like most of my gadget accesories.
I recently canceled my order of a Korean LG G3 that was going to come with an extra battery, a dock, and the tangle free headphones. I'm going to grab the AT&T version in 2 days. I very much so doubt the AT&T version will come with anything so I'd love to have the extra stuff.
Trouble is, the dock I found on eBay costs about $45 and the battery is about $20. The battery price isn't much but the dock is that much without the actual spare battery - a bit too expensive for my taste. Does anyone know where I can find a better deal on these accessories?
Thanks.

Now this is exactly the case i want for my phone! I will be buying this and i really hope it works with the att for qi charging...att may have ****ed many people over with powermat!
Pretty sure I'm gonna snag one if its functionality is not hindered in the AT&T version. I just ordered a few cases off amazon.com as well to test out, if they're not up to par - then I'll wait on this. I really like the idea behind the case, despite the price.
I'm all over this as well. I love the Slim Guard.
