Is there any chance that someone takes interrest in an OMNIROM port on our device ? I sadly have no skills in this kind of tricky dev and I still ask myself why there is no more interrest in this (since we have one of the biggest phablet out there to take all omnirom advantages ... ). Kindly ... ?

I already readed this. Sounds like the dev stopped working on it. I didn't really understand where this thread were goin however I still hope this awesome rom to happen on our awesome phone. Who's negative ?

Im looking for a way to turn my S2 into a prepaid.. I have a S2 under sprint service.. I was hoping i could unlock it some how or even flash it to use verizon prepaid, or any carrier for that matter... If any one can help plz PM me or email [email protected]

this app wont work on newer phones. I still had the old HW version and it still didnt work.
gain root access and then just download this app by helroz and follow the on-screen instructions, fast an easy.

This post is currently in the i9100 forum, a device that doesn't even work on Sprint's network.
Edit to add: also, due to the nature of how Sprint's network works, using the phone on a different network is complicated at best. In any case, you won't find the answers you seek here. Go to the Epic 4g Touch forum I linked.

It has become kind of a tradition to port an os to this device.. So yes, I'm pretty sure the HD2 will have Ubuntu Touch. Maybe not officially, but hey.
