is your device T6UL? what is your CID / MID? i just checked for update, don't think we have received it for the international max.
Run fastboot getvar all and post the output here, we can identify your device.

Your device is a developer one and not EURO .. *1540* indicates developer version.. Your tried to install *401* and also an de-odexed one. That will not work..
if you are soff, you can search for the RUU lying somewhere, else you will have to find the dump @Wonders_Never_Cease posted for 4.4.2

No need to relock Bootloader.
Follow these steps.
1. Unlock Bootloader.
2. Flash Stock Recovery : Tutorial - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36138826&postcount=2
Use the stock recovery.img attached here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39658620&postcount=1
3. Recheck for Software Update and Download the update.
It should work for you. Everything should be stock and bootloader status doesn't matter.

But relocking was not necessary for me. I have done the OTA using an unlocked bootloader with just the stock recovery which I flashed. Again sorry if I am wrong.

I am not sure why you had that problem, But I can confirm it works without relocking bootloader. Just check this post : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37436982&postcount=77
you need to relock bootloader only if you run ruu
I had flashed stock recovery from this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2568799 but after i finished i can't enter to stock recovery. It show me red triangle error sign and stop. I think because of i flashed different version of recovery. Right? If so how do i get 1.23.707.1 stock recovery or how can i upgrade 1.54.401.1? Any idea for this problem please?
Here is my processing step...
1. When i get ota update, unlock bootloader
2. Then flash stock recovery from above link.
3. Lock bootloader
4. My device is still rooted and i download ota update. Then i install.
5. Device restart and start loading but may be round about 20% it start show me red triangle and stop processing.
Here is my device version

Well your first problem is that the Bootloader has to be locked for the OTA update to take affect. Make sure you have Stock Kernel, Rom and Recovery Installed.

You are old partition. You can only flash ROMs built for that. Also, you are S-on, so if the ROM you're trying to flash is not sense based with a kernel installer, you will have to extract the boot img and flash via fastboot or flash img GUI or flashify. Otherwise, relock your bootloader, run the .4 RUU and reobtain root and reinstall custom recovery and get S-off to flash new partition ROMs.
Edit:
Consider getting S-off first. Makes life easier.

I did, and I still got the same error. "No such file or directory"
I must be getting the path wrong. It says checking system, data/preload/tunein.apk
I think maybe I need to create that file on the system folder, but it's not visible from my pc and I won't save on my phone, (I think because I don't have root)

Your computer wont be able to see system folder/files. You need a root browser from play store to do the trick for you. You need to create a preload folder un System/data using root browser. I believe you need to have root access in order to do these steps and for this you'll need a unlocked bootloader, custom recovery and super user flashed.

Hi, thanks again for your previous help!
I'm still battling away with this thing trying to get S-OFF so I can relock bootloader and get my finger print scanner working.
Firewater and rumrunner don't seem to work, they both say I need a different (unsecured) kernal. I've tried flashing one, and almost bricked my phone......
Not sure where to go from here?
Any suggestions would be awesome.

Like I said earlier, I did S-Off when I was on 2.47 hboot and I didn't need any Insecure Kernel. I am not sure if 2.49 would require an insecure kernel to S-Off with fire water.
I will read that forum for you to find out if you would need an Insecure Kernel and will let you know. In the mean time you keep searching as well my friend.

Did you try this to attain S-Off. See if it works for you.

Thanks for looking, that link doesn't seem to work...
I have a plan that I am going to try this morning. I will flash CM11 then try and run firewater. I'll let you know how I go.

I'm all good now. Once I flashed CM11 firewater worked! Then I restored a back up of stock sense 6 and relocked my bootloader using scottys method, now i have my working finger print reader back.
Thanks again for you help.
