Hi guys!
My Samsung Galaxy S II is stuck on the samsung logo when i try to turn it on. The galaxy is not rooted and has the stock 4.1.2 android version on it. When i go into recovery mode a dead android with red triangle is shown.
The problem occured when i stoped playing angry birds go. When i wanted to uninstall the game the phone froze, and reseted itself after a few seconds. Oh and in the notification bar there was a strange logo (system memory almost full or something like that).
So is there a way to get my phone back to life, without losing my data ( pictures, videos and recorded audio files)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
i think all you can do is flash a stock rom .. you will have to loose your data :/

I soft-bricked my gs2 many times i flashed stock firmware every time, never lost anything from my internal sdcard partition. All what was lost was my apps and settings. Even Factory Reset never wiped my stuff as everybody can expect and i did before. Strange is int it

Hi guys.
I recently purchased Samsung galaxy sII and got it rooted. I'am not sure that if this is the source of the problem but ill describe what i did in hopes that someone will know how to help me...
I installed Litening rom on the first try and used it until decided to try other roms so i got here and grabbed the first one from the list in the Android Development section. Am not sure about the name of the rom but both of them worked as awesome as roms could get.
One day i downloaded Optimize tool box and when I was deleting cache i noticed that market had over 10 mb's of cache [am noob with smartphones] but when compared to the cache that other apps had it was quite a lot.. when i cleared it and clicked home button phone froze... Nothing worked so i decided to pull battery out. After that the phone was stuck at loading animation. After that I cleared all internal cache of the phone, reinstalled rom and it worked. But now am having a weird problem. From time to time phone either shuts down by itself or when remains screen locked for a period of time it remains black [home button does not return me to the lock screen, instead it remains black] and i have to reboot it to get it to work again.
Tnx in advance
Factory reset, reinstall?

Rooting is not the problem it worked .
Recovery mode and factory reset first option.
Follow that by a wipe and install stock rom and start over if Factory reset not cure problem .

How did you flash your rom. Have you got CMW? If you do try to put a zipped rom in an sd card and then install it through CMW.
Hello guys,
I have a galaxy s gt 19003 which i bought 2 years ago in india. recently i had a lot of problems with my phone where the applications running on my phone were getting forcefully closed and so i tried to do a factory reset to my phone, after the reset i cannot switch on my phone, it gets struck at the start up screen where the samsung logo keeps flashing again and again for a long time. i have tried to flash and rom and also tried to factory reset through clockworkmod and installed the new rom through odin multi downloader but stil the same problem. Hello,
my galaxy note 2 (was running stock rom, latest SW) suddenly got bricked after battery reached 0%. When turned on was stuck on SAMSUNG logo then after some time being stuck on the logo the android guy poped up with some quick recovery menu (nothing helped - clearing cache, restoring factory settings).
Kies and reloading SW didnt help. I managed to bring it to life by installing recovery called TWRP using ODIN.
Unfortunately the IMEI is now 0049..... which is some generic one. Resulting unability to use the network.
How to fix this IMEI issue and get my original one back ?
Any idea or do I have to take it to service center where they have the service box ?
If I need to provide more data please ask.
