Hi guys...
To stop same question on each thread...
Yes, you can root TS with framaroot 1.9.3 (latest firmware - OTA update OUI 2.1)
Also, TWRP 2.7.0.0 can be installed using MTK Droid Tools..
I just did all of this and tried to use Xposed module Advanced Power Menu - everything is working OK.
Also, TWRP is mounting drives, restoring and building recoveries.
See ya

That's something we could thanks Omate.
They said - If you, after update, stuck into bootloop - remove battery and it'll be OK.
(so they said, open back cover and lose warranty....)
Just do that and it'll work...
I have TS for two months and before this silly update I didn't open back cover, now I had to just because of theirs experts...
Just imagine if Sony said something like that...
Yes, you have waterproof device but if you want to have working OS on it you'll have to open it and lose warranty (waterproof/resistance warranty)

No friend ... after battery empty and charged it again. The watch started normally without any problem.
The problem was that the framaroot 1.9.3 not scussed to root the watch even with the last firmware as you stated.
Otherwise, I made rooting with the Motochopper and it's success ...

Me also 1/8/2100 developer edition
Lots of different hardware versions of the 1/8/2100's depending on which factory batch they were created in. The firmwares are mutually incompatible.
Also, it turned out that there is no "developer edition", or you could look at it as "they all are" instead. All are the same in that respect anyway, Dev == non-Dev exactly.

Hello, I bought there is a week ago a new Truesmart.

Is someone screwing with me? I am late to the Note 3 party, picking one up yesterday. Not going to activate unless I can root. I have searched high and low for 1.1.6, have found everything but that version. Is there something specific I should search for, a hint within the forum rules? Thanks! I tried VRoot after getting frustrated and it failed.

I looked at the Forum rules and didn't see anything against posting the link, so here it is:

This is the Afterdawn Kingo 1.1.6 installer. It will give you 3 options trying to install AVG as your antivirus. Make sure you uncheck those boxes. After you download the file choose open to install. It's easy to figure out after that. If you need help with it post back.

AfterRoot
after it is rooted, will it still have the same build with all the info or will it be a factory default?
I have tried every root technique possible, even the De La Vega method from the OG Note 3, with no success. The N750/N7505 use an Exynos chip that makes the CFAUTOROOT and TWRP builds for those models incompatible with the Qualcomm Duos version.
I've posted the recovery.img in Chainfire's thread, posted my question in the de la vega thread, and requested a TWRP in bigbiff's thread.
Are there any other users searching for support? Is there a way for a non-programmer to create a root solution from guides on XDA? I hope someone takes some interest in this device to at least get root and hopefully a custom recovery for backups. Cheers.
I would glad at least for root.

I alao tried vroot and oneclick root with no success. Tried chainfire root for 7505 and bricked the phone. So reflashing the original Samsung rom by rom.. Asmed chainfire in his thread and Google+ but atill no answer...
Any further guide will be highly appreciated...

Hi. You just download the original rom and flash it with odin.
It worked for me.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2498850
According to this thread from the Note 3 forum, the script"[will] create Root de la Vega for any device that has the necessary hooks." I have downloaded the appropriate stock ROM for the SM-N7502, successfully run the script (which indicates that the necessary system hooks exist), and successfully booted up with the modified ROM.
After that, the thread says to copy over the ROOT files to the sdcard, reboot, then remove the ROOT files, and reboot a final time. The end result, no ROOT. Can someone take a look at the ROOT files and see if we can adjust anything to make it work for our device?
Somehow, the script does not execute the SH file from the ROOT files after reboot... but I do not understand why.

Follow the link posted or goto the cfautoroot page and get the file for our device. Inside the zip are Odin files and the cfautoroot package.
Put the phone in download mode (from powered off, hold vol down and the home key and the power key simultaneously, then press volume up at the confirmation page to continue into download mode).
Once in download mode, connect your phone to your computer and open the Odin app. Click the AP button and select the cfautoroot package. Then click start.
Phone will reboot into cfautoroot mode. Let it do its thing (should see mobile Odin text in red). It will reboot again and boom, done.
Google for directions if you need more detailed instructions, pretty much the se for every device. Thankfully our device doesnt have a locked bootloader to deal with.
Thanks! Done successfully!

ORIGINAL STUMP APK ROOT THREAD- ALL CREDITS TO JCASE!!
This is the easiest way to root your LG G3 (VS985)
1. Install THIS app
2. Open app and start it
3. Hit Grind, then hit bruteforce (it wont mess up anything, you have to do, it works)
4. Wait until it says to reboot to finish root
5. it reboots twice
6. Done
Now install SuperSU from the market, havent tried any other superuser apps except SuperSU

Yes, had to bruteforce my VZW G3. Worked perfectly. Remember to uninstall Stump after you've installed SuperSU and rebooted once to be sure all is good.
Worked perfectly!
I'll confirm, I did this w/my Verizon G3 when I got it about a month ago and it worked perfectly. Been able to use apps like TiBu, root explorer, greenify, g3tweaks (donated), etc with no issues.
I did have to Brute force, and it took about 3 minutes IIRC.
Another confirmation that it worked. Now off to the main thread to give more thanks.

Thanks for posting this. My GFs face will be priceless when I unbox my G3 tomorrow morning from Amazon, and go to this page, and root it within minutes of it's first startup.....
Some oddities with this apk:
* Wants permission to pass queries to Maluuba (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maluuba.android&hl=en)
* Wants to manage IPsec connections - why would a root app need to establish a vpn connection?
* Wants permission to Google Now Remote Access
All of this seems fishy... so the app could remote into my phone via an encrypted VPN (so no trace of the source), and do whatever - including screen my search queries...
I don't think so.
I want to do this to my GF's G3 but is there a 100% way to get back to factory?I am not familiar with LG phones
after i run stump, can i uninstall the app? after the reboot, the phone was asking permission to uninstall... let me know thanks!!!!!

but I, I do not want to unlock the bootloader ... I would do the only root for some applications
Sent from my PLK-L01 using XDA Free mobile app
Then try king root. But definitely replace it with SuperSU, there are good explanations how to do that all over the place
but to me it is also interested in how to remove the root, for official updates
Sent from my PLK-L01 using XDA Free mobile app
For that you should replace king root with SuperSU, it's in the app possible to remove SuperSU easily
Please don't use kingroot as it's very difficult to remove. It really sticks to the system. There's a wide range of cases of people deeply regretting installed kingroot.
And you need always to unlock the bootloader. There is no known root method without it. But unless you need unrooted apps like homebanking you'll be fine.
Use supersu. Period!

Save yourself from trouble and go with supersu.
To install OTA you just need to go to app and remove root option. Even in some Huawei models you don't need to unroot.

Unroot at Supersu app. There's an option there.
Flash original boot.img and recovery.img via ADB. Only seems difficult the first time, then it's a walk in the park.
Overall you spend months without having to do so as updates are not frequent.

The only thing you need from the mac side is Google or Huawei drivers and ADB installed. There are various tutorials for these.
Also Mac already have a terminal emulator to run ADB commands. It's easy. Go and install drivers and ADB. Then connect phone to Mac, after selecting debugging option in developer options in phone settings. Turn off phone. Press vol- and power until screen comes on.
Run fastboot device command in ADB terminal and post here the results.

Ok so I went through the tutorial to install Magisk, well the issue I have is the the TV box came rooted out the box, but no root software is visible, like Supersu or anything.. nothing there.. and they say I should remove all root software first...

Did you try to downlaod SuperSU from playstore?
It has an option to remove root (full unroot).

I installed SuperSU from playstore, and that is what put my device into boot loop, go check on google, im not the only one that this has happened to with SuperSU install on the H96 pro... It seems to be a common problem. So now I dont know what to do..
On the other hand, I found an unrooted Custom firmware fir the device, but Im unable to install it as I cant get TWRP on it.. so now im struggling with that

Either ways, you need root!
And if the Box indeed comes rooted, then you can use it without needing the SuperSU app. The app is a way to allow and deny (and remove root completely) the root access. If the no SuperSU app is installed, the applications will automatically gain root access when they need to, unless the device isn't REALLY or PROPERLY rooted.

Frankly, I don't have any experience with TV Boxes (never got one). But it should normally work just like any Android system.
So, root is all you need to install TWRP.
Install Terminal Emulator app and type this:
su
If you see this symbol $ becomes # , It means you're truly rooted.
Add a photo or a screenshot to your post. And then we can proceed to next the step.

You need to probably flash the recovery before you can boot from it

I know how to flash the recovery, but I have no idea how to boot from it on a TV box, indeed.
But the person who made the custom rom zip should tell people how to use it!

I just read that the custom rom files should be placed on the sd card all unzipped in root, then one should reset the device into rrcovery mode and it wil automatically start flashing the new rom.. but still to flash the recovery I have no clue

Hi You can use the amlogic burning tool to flash this box using a Male to Male usb cable connected to pc.
The burning tool can be found on entertainmentbox.com
Please forward the link to the unrooted firmware I would like to test it on one of my boxes.
I have exactly the same problem with the same apps and same android box, so frustrating!!!!
