Facing a weird problem in my new Moto E, whenever i put it on Vibration mode.. it switches to Silent (no vibration) mode by itself after some time.
Because the phone is not vibrating i've missed some important calls, it is not always possible to put the phone in normal mode.
Anyone else facing the same problem?
What should be done? as it is a very serious issue regarding to my work. Plz help!

try resetting your phone and see
Maybe it's got something to do with moto Assist. Check the app and the notification bar for any updates of the phone goes silent.

u need to ensure phone is in locked mode when u keep in pocket. ...many calls has been sent from my phone which i dont know myself...I think the button or touch display is active and random clicks on it is the culprit. ...ensure to lock screen by the power button when you keep it in ur pocket...

It was probably only a display problem. Maybe it didn't show anything but the phone was working fine. It can happen sometimes.
Worry about it if this happens again. Probably it switched off dut to depleted battery.

maybe its just a normal minor and not harmful error . but you could open it again and its working fine i think its not an issue

it was not battery discharge it just turned off and and when I re inserted the battery it started working normal !!!! I think it might be due to memory card or some sim problem but plZ experts help me out
Let me repeat that: I think it was not shut down. Simply, the screen stopped working. So you thought it was shut down. And of course trying to turn it on wouldn't work, since it was already turned on.
Removing the battery forced the phone to shut down, and the screen started working again after turning it on. This also happened to me once.

it was not that because on pressing the the lock key and home key the lights of touch buttons did not turn on plz hep !!!!!

This sometimes happened to me when I switched to a custom kernel (KrSH) and overclocked it to 1.2GHz. Noticed it happening after opening a few different apps or while receiving a call, but I can't duplicate it myself using controlled actions.
Might be helpful telling us what you were doing on the phone when the abrupt reboot happened.
I've had my DNA since late November and I used to keep it on vibrate all of the time. Now that I keep it on Normal sound, I've noticed that the phone doesn't ring when I get a call. If I'm lucky, I'll catch it lighting up and be able to answer it. Is anyone else having this problem? Are there any ways to fix it?
I do have a song that I've downloaded as my ringtone. I also have the Call Control app. I was wondering if either of these could be the problem?
Any suggestions?

i have got a nexus 4 and the same problem. i used to keep it on vibration all the time and now when i started keeping it on normal mode, it doesnt ring. neither does it vibrate. got jelly beans 4.2.2. this problem was there before nexus got updated to this version. any quick help anyone? want to avoid formatting as i am not rooted to save my apps. I tried rooting but was unsuccessful as the adb doesnt recognise the device. but thats a different story. please help.
edit: just noticed that the phone does vibrate when it is in vibration mode. but wont ring when on normal ringing mode. all volume levels checked. everything looks cool then the actually sound. can hear notification sounds too. just doesnt ring. help help

This is getting really annoying, I'm running BlissPop 2xx, android 5.0.1., can anyone help me with this??

This is really weird, try a factory reset, if that doesn't work, clean flash the ROM again

blisspop is very buggy rom and rom owner not updating regularly, install another rom
when I use the original oxygenos, I always happens (in each call) that there are unintentional touches the screen that usually make me turn the microphone off or pause the call, all this makes it impossible to make a phone call.
I tried doing upgrades, downgrades, cache cleaning, reset but nothing!
The only way to solve it is to use the CyanogenMod 13 where the bug does not occur but.
can someone help me with this problem ??? I like the stock rom and I would use it without problems

Yes! the only way is to turn off the phone with the power button after starting the conversation, it is still very frustrating!
If I type a number and make e call the display will immediately go off when I put the phone near the ear. If I just keep it in the hand it will not go off. I guess this is what happen by default. Maybe it has to do with some kind of sensor you turn off on your settings in OOS?

I think the screen is responsive to the touch in some cases despite the proximity sensor turns off the screen, it's a pretty serious problem, those of OnePlus are willing to fix it, but they will leave at least 30 days.
I do not understand if it is a sofware or hardware problem because with the various tests I did the sersore proximity seems to work fine, but I can not make a phone call without any problems

Since a few days/weeks i got a problem with the vibrations from the phone.
Eventhough i set the mode to vibrate, gave the apps the permission to vibrate, it only vibrates when i get a call or when the phone is plugged in for charging, this is just semi annoying but still something i would like to fix.
Im always on the latest xiaomi.eu - rom if thats needed, maybe somebody had the same bug and knows how to solve it.
