Hi all!
I'm an xperia x8 user with the basic (or some more) knowledge about Android. I really like MiUI, but my phone is weak to run a MiUI smoothly. Five or four weeks ago i saw Xiaomi M2' hw specs and price and found it awesome. My Q is: What do you think about this phone? Do you trust Xiaomi and shipping partners? (I wanna do)

M2 looks really nice. So far this year I jumped from 4s > xperia s > one x > s3 > iphone 5 and now I want to go back to android. but i'm in love with MIUI and this M2 phone specs and looks are pretty good. Price is cheap for such a high end spec'd phone.

hey guys, I use the Xiaomi M2 and it is a great phone. It does not have google play on it but its easy to add and does not require root. The screen is crazy good (especially comparing to my Huawei Honor) and it's just so quick. I'm not a huge fan of MIUI but some really love it.
Anyway, despite the fact that it is currently sold out in china and unavailable for sale anywhere else, I got my hands on a few of those. So if you're interested you can contact me. I'll sell at same price as the website mentionned in the thread but you will not have to wait until March or something to get it and I can use paypal so that you are protected against fraud. I'm also a former powerseller on ebay and am selling in on eBay too but at a higher price to cover eBay fees.
Selling it for 450 on ebay, can do for 400 here.
I hope you don't feel it's a spam, I know how hard it is to get a hand on this phone...almost as hard as the N4...
I have a Nexus One and I was looking for a more modern phone to enjoy the best user experience offered by Android.
I found a second-hand Samsung Galaxy S3 for € 100.
My dream would be to wait a few years and buy the Nexus 5, but this offer tempts me a lot, what do you advise?
It si kind of uncool when you ahyve to weait really long for a smartphone to get cheaper (believe me, I know. i bought my S3 from my savings). If you had a more modern smartphone, it probably would have worth it to wait. But having a Nexus One.... I recommend you to buy it now. But don't be fooled by the cheap price and af course by that dreanline when you buy a new phone. Get somewhere. play a little with the phone. run a benchmrk or two to see if it is original, and not a Chinese clone. I don't know. Go to a pub, drink somethink, let that guy tell you about the phone, while you etst it. This is the best way to make sure you make the right decision.
Just have gotten Aqua-m4 a fresh new phone, it has Android version 5.0 and many bloatware from Orange
Want to save warranty however as well want many tweaks possible with root only, Xpose modules, SD utilisation as internal storage etc
Please, instruct me how to manage the phone step by step taking into account recent development, appearing MM etc and how to avoid mistakes
Best advice I can give you is pretty simple: get rid of it and find a better phone.

And, BTW explain what do you mean better phone: iPhone 7, Galaxy S6, they are too expensive as for JUST a phone, in my humble opinion
I wouldn't trust it as far as water resistance goes. It's supposed to be IP68 but it really doesn't hold up that well in water. And for a better phone, I think it's a good strategy to buy a flagship phone from 1/2 years ago instead of a brand new middle class one. That way you get a maybe slightly outdated, but still top of the line product.
@StoyanP, even if standard IP68 is just partially obeyed here it is still needed as other phones don't offer any protection at all, including older flagships.
Partial using the waterproof protection is a bottom line warranty to my view, it could be enforced with waterproof pouch case if there is a need swim with this phone:

Applying such double protection is means of escaping from a wet trouble, nothing less would make us sure.

I like this phone, the more the longer play with it, it's waterproofness is very needed to me and it's specs is enough.
However the attitude of Sony corporation is what makes me pissed off, they apply the policy to spoil hardware potentials as much as possible with their softwares.
However that's why helping hands of you, my Friends, are very needed! You are the power to bring "have it all" from the piece of this hardware and this is the ART

So please advice me to buy proper display from aliexpress or ebay. Much better if someone had experience with this situation. Much better if you guys can provide me better answer. Chears
If you have access to witrigs.com they have OEM displays. A little expensive though

Don't buy from Etradesupply. They have some weird flickering issue with backlight. Other than that colors and viewing angles are almost like OEM.
Hi, I unfortunatelly broke my G2 mini.
It's all ruined, it came off me with 20 meters of stairs.
Is it worth paying for it to repair or buy a new phone?
The phone does not turn on, as I plug it into another display it shows the sign of the empty battery even though I have it charged.
Is it worth the change to the iPhone 5s or another Android phone?
I have only ~€300

If I were you I would buy an Android phone.
I would repair it myself, if I know what's broken. You can buy an used G2 mini from someone who sell it (online) so you get the spare parts cheaper. The G2 mini is relatively easy to repair.

The way I see it, it's always better to have the ability to do something and not do it because you don't want to than to want to do something and not have the ability to.
Get an android phone, don't mod it, unless you want to...
Simple as that...
Plus, you get a device that offers capabilities for the money you pay, instead of a 1000€ phone with the capabilities of a 2014 android phone.
But, of course, that's how I see it...

You can get quite decent smartphone with android for 300€, honor 8 or Samsung A5 (2017) / galaxy S6, Xperia X, etc. When 300€ will buy you iPhone SE ... I would not buy a phone with 4 inch , 1136x640 display. Not in 2017 and not for that money.
