CM M7 snapshot install - Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE

Has anyone had issues with installing the latest CM M7 snapshot? I'm on M6 now. I tried the usual way with the CMUpdater a few times. I then tried downloading manuall (phone and from laptop) and installing via recovery. I can open the zip file and see the contents. Each time, I get the same result. It says there is an "error in" the zip file and then "(status 0) installation aborted)".

I had a problem with email. I had a corporate account working just fine with M6 and even the day earlier nightly. Constant force close. I didn't try a clean install, just installed over a working M6 and working nightly. Both had the exact same FC problem with email. Not worried too much, I don't have a problem staying on nightlies.

CM Updater and CWM issues

Hello,
I have already asked this in the CM10 SGS3 discussion but could not get any help there, so I assumed this will get more attention.
Recently, I tried updating CM10 using CM Updater but CWM failed to update, complaining about signature verification of the update package. The full error was: E:signature verification failed.
Has anyone encountered this error before? If so, how can I fix this? And also - could have been any harm done due to failing signature verification on CWM?
Thanks!

Not on CM, so, never encountered this error before but...does this happen every time you try and update?

Are you sure you have CWM installed? A signature verification error in this case could result in of two possible things: either you have incompatible recovery (i.e. stock) installed or it is a bad/corrupted download. No harm was done, since failing to verify signature just does not let the zip to install.
@Oomahey, I tried this just once since I was not sure about the exact outcome of this.
@hsrars-d, Yes, I have CWM v5.4, I am not making any confusions, it says that right in the title on recovery
I'll try updating this one more time and get back to you.
Thank you for your time!
I had this yesterday on a note 2 and realised it didn't have cwm recovery installed. When I installed that worked perfectly

Have not tried it yet but is it possible that my CWM version is old enough not to be compatible? It is version v5.4 (dot something-something)
Also, could CM Updater be using a different software on recovery even though when booting into recovery it explicitly says "Clockworkmod"? It does not make much sense to me.
Sorry for double-posting but I had to update that I have tried flashing it again, with the nightly build of 23/11 and it failed again. (after toggling signature verification on "apply new update" and using CM Updater again to update firmware)
Any suggestions?
Well, i have CWM Touch as my recovery, u could try to flash that and then update

Install Rom Manager from market than install latest Clockworkmod recovery for i9300 and that should work , you have an wold recovery
The CM Updater has never work for me, ever.
I'm running the latest version of CWM (v6.0.1.2) and when I try to update via CM Updater I get the following:
Code:
-- Installing package…Finding update package…
Opening update package…
Verifying update package…
e:failed to open /sdcard/cmupdater/cm-10-20121124-NIGHTLY-i9300.zip (No such file or directory)
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted
I can also say that if I manually go to "install zip from sdcard" and then select to access the internal sdcard I get the same error
Code:
e:can't mount /sdcard/
Browsing the external sdcard is no problem, only the internal.
I should also mention that my phone is encrypted, if that is the reason to why I can't access the internal sdcard in CWM, I don't know.
The encryption is the problem.

Is upgrading CWM different from replacing it with the stock recovery? Since, as I previously mentioned, I already have CWM installed and am just interested in upgrading it.
I am bumping this since it is still relevant. I am about to upgrade CWM and was thinking of doing this with ROM Manager (rather than heimdall/ODIN). Is it possible doing this from ROM Manager? Is it also more reliable than heimdall/ODIN in the context of bricking your phone?

[Q] Stuck In Recovery, TWRP Won't Flash Roms!

I rooted my One and installed the latest version of TWRP on it last night and tried to flash CM 10.2 Stable on it. I kept getting the "Failed" message so I went ahead and made a stupid move and wiped EVERYTHING including internal storage. I ADB pushed Gummy ROM and a couple different versions of CM 10.2 but I keep getting "E:Unable to open zip file. Error flashing zip '/sdcard/ROM.zip'" Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? It's nearly 11am and I've gotten no sleep trying to find out how to fix this.
EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED! All of the files I downloaded were corrupted. After redownloading them on a different computer the ROM flashed fine.

[Q] Error while flashing CM 11 ROM on HTC One M7

I am trying to flash my HTC One M7. I bought this device from T-Mobile.
I am using ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.4.8 (recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.8-m7.img). However, whenever I try to flash anything, it give me an error. I am using Cyanogenmod snapshot build (cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-m7.zip). Aso tried latest nightly build.
Steps I am following:
Wipe data/factory reset -> Yes - wipe all user data
install zip -> install from sdcard -> select the zip file
Log:
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Installing update...
Installation aborted.
I get same error whenever I try to flash anything. Either it being UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.zip or GAAPPS. I have also tried TWRP (twrp-2.8.6.0-m7.img) still same error. Right now, except recovery, hboot and fastboot nothing else is working. When I try to boot the devices, it shows the initial HTC boot screen and gets stuck there.
I am following the instructions from here: wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_m7
What's might be reason for it or where am I going wrong?
Use a different rom. Or a more updated one.

Found the issue. It was due to safari auto-unzip file after download. I was making a zip of the file again.
I used chrome to download the file and voila it worked perfectly.

Upgraded problem E: error executing updater binary in zip- oneplus one

My bacon suddenly went to bootloop yesterday. I just flashed the lineageOS and it started like butter.
Then I installed Oreo in my bacon and it opened.
Then I flashed Gapps and it went to bootloop again.
Now problems are-
1. Neither lineage nor any ROM can be flashed. The mobile is going to boot loop again and again. I have cleared cache, data, system and reflashed. But nothing is helping.
2. TWRP cannot be loaded if not in charing post.
3. Already tried fastboot mode. Not helping.
4. Tried gapps uninstaller, stock rom installation but nothing happened.
5. Now if i try to flash, it is showing “binary problem. “
As given in the title. Error code 7.
Unzipping and using notepad++ havent helped me also. That shows error 6. Even superuser cannot be installed due to error code 7.
Can anyone help me?
I want my oneplus one back in life.
Plesse help me!!!

CWM Corrupted? Custom ROM with nothing? Nexus 5

I unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone, and flashed with resurrected remixed 8.1
Everything seemed good, but trying to install gapps would fail. Everytime I try to flash something it fails, gapps worked once but did not install play services.
I've never had some many problems, the phone does not have a sdcard. ROM manager is installed, and connected to wifi, but it cannot update, does not say why. I tried to get TWRP to work, now it says the phone is not rooted.
I flash SuperSU-v2.82-201705271822, it says success but there is no super user. SU when I run it says it is occupied.
Tried to wip cache etc, and flash stock or lineage, error 7. Tried to remove assert in the update script, than gives a error about footer.
I know I must be missing something. RR Oreo 8.1, no web browser, going to download and move via usb and install. Any suggestions are welcome.
