I used the Sony Notes App on my Xperia Tabel z but now I don'T see it ion my Tablet Z2. Is this missing for you also?
I am using an original and untouched Sony build (17.1.1.A.0.402).
Same here. Sony included "Keep" app for Z2, phone and tablet. Personaly I don't like it and now using "ColorNote Notepad Notes" by Notes.
I copied the app's apks from my phone to my z2 tablet, but I removed it again since the app could only work in portrait mode.

It doesn't work like that. Individual apps need to be WRITTEN as Small Apps-compatible and the Browser, Calculator and Remote Control are the only currently available Small Apps-compatible applications. So, no, you can't add new Small Apps, and you can't delete them either, which is annoying, I will admit.
If Sony ever makes the Small Apps code/APIs public, we'll be able to write apps for Small Apps, but for the moment, they're a fixed inclusion.
I want to change my current smartphone for a new Xperia P. I am currently using a slow, small and limited Motorola XT 510 Fire.
However this phone has an interesting feature, it is a widget that allows to turn on and off all the data connections in an easy and elegant way

I haven´t seen this feature in other phones like Samsung Galaxies, however I haven´t had yet the chance to try an Xperia in person,
so this is why I ask on this forum.

Can it still function normally with e-mail such as Gmail, and other POP3 accounts?
Or is its OS so out dated it can not function properly ie asking to be updated yet the update it too large (memory wise) or the update is not compatible with the way we connect to the internet or other issues to look out for?
Also which OS does it typically come with? Ginger bread or ICS?
Purchasing the device from welectronics if that makes a difference.
You see I am thinking of purchasing one and would like to know if it worth paying for...I would use it primarily for mail and sending, viewing, light editing pdf, word, and excel documents, and lastly as a back up phone, also as a recording device for lectures. the only reason I am looking at this device is for the physical slide out keyboard like the old PDA's.

I really loved the Stock Albums App that comes with NEX, made by Vivo.
Especially the Perspective Correction function which you can use with simply selection Edit - Doc
Recently, I upgraded to Galaxy S10 and thought I'd take the Albums App during migration.
I backed up the APK and installed on S10, as I already had a hunch, It is not woking...
Crashes every time I launch it.
Is there any way, the working APK can be found for the same Albums App by Vivo to be used with Other Android Devices.

I switched back to Sony and got myself a Xperia 1.
A few years back, when I had a Z2 and a Z3 I was a huge fan of the performance and the launcher and Sony add-ons.
Unfortunately Sony decided to go towards stock Android-ish (a bit too much in that direction).
What I am missing severely is:
1. to make a scrolling screenshot and then editing it with a pen or my finger to comment or whatever. Like any Samsung, LG, Huawei, xiaomi etc does.
Is there any way to do that on the Xperia 1?
Or is there an app you can recommend, that does not come with adverts and respects privacy?
2. I am missing to switch off network connection for apps seperately (like one plus allows)
3. A functionality to clone apps (like any chinese phone does). Having a dual Sim phone this is really mandatory in my point of view.
At the moment I use island and app cloner, but they both have their limits.
