I have noticed that the tips of my middle and ring fingers have started feeling numb and tingley. I noticed it about 2 weeks ago, but now it's getting a little more uncomfortable. I have switched from my left hand as the base to the right one, I also switched around some of the options to left handed mode. Has anyone else had this problem? Any tips?

Not sure this is a technological question as it is a question for your doctor.

Unless you're on your phone 24/7, I'd say something's not right. As the previous poster stated, though, it's not a technical issue or anything related to a specific device. It's a medical issue of some sort, and the only person qualified to diagnose what exactly the problem is and what's causing it, is your doctor. Not the internet, your doctor....

Has anyone else noticed that with their photon....it'll just stop vibrating, then start again? I've noticed this a lot when typing for long periods of time
Sent from my MB855 using XDA
Yes, this used to happen to me all the time. Especially when playing games that used vibration a lot. I think it was the weight on the vibrator (lol) getting stuck or jammed somehow. I would just give my Photon a little smack on the side and it would come right back on. It hasn't done it for a couple of months now though.

Holy s**t!!!! I have been meaning to start this thread for weeks, I thought the damm thing was broken and it was just me!!! I'll be typing, then all of a sudden the virbration will stop, I can still type, but not virbration. Then all of a sudden, its cool? At one point it was annoying because it was like every other minute, now it's like a few keystrokes every few days? Odd i must say!
BTW: The only reason I came to this thread was to joke "have you tried sitting on washer on spin?", but after I read it the joke died!
Nope hasn't happened to me

Has anyone noticed odd lines going diagonally through some icons and play store?
Edit : when I run quadrant I get really bad artifacts on the square part of the stairs.
Could it be a driver issue?
Should I return it as a malfunctioning device?

No haven't noticed this at all.

If you would ac tally read the op you would've seen its not only icons. I also get it on pics and get bad artifacts in games. So if your looking to get sarcastic take it somewhere else.

Definitely not a driver issue... It's the GPU failing to render. I recommend exchanging it while you still can, even under severe stress mine does not do anything like that. I'm sad for you mate. What carrier you on?

Apparently you need a hug, there was nothing sarcastic about it. Im sitting here waiting for my phone to come in a couple weeks and seeing someone post graphics issues is unsettling. Of course i read the op, but the point was on the screenshot it is specific to the icons, whatever it is does not impact the background or other graphical parts on the screen which makes me think its not necessarily hardware.

Ty for the input. And my apologies if there was nothing sarcastic intended.
And I'm on AT&T.
Maybe that is the reason the AT&T store said it was a return of a preordered device and allowed me to buy it in store yesterday.
Just stressing out about it a bit.

One thing I have noticed is that my phone seems to be spying on my activities.
My phone knows where I work and when I work and get off. It tells me my commute time and etc. One time it told me when/where my girlfriend works when I was taking her on the regular. I checked National games for the sake of metro and its the phone has started to give me MLB game times and scores. I had a time when my phone gave me an alert to attend a cookout from my car insurance company. It had emailed me this weeks in advanced. I also get advertisements for games I have looked at that pop up.
Is the Android/Google taking it too far by monitoring your activities?
It's called Google Now. Good news? It's working as it's supposed to. Disable it if you're paranoid.

I don't really get what the problem is. It isn't like it's harming you, if anything, it is making your life easier.
Google goes through tons of security and they've even said that the only thing that sees the information is their algorithms. I mean, when's the last time you've heard about Google being hacked?
But like WolfePack said, you can always disable it.

aside from google now if you're getting pop up advertisements for games, or notifications that advertise things, it's because you have a ****ty adware app that you need to block or uninstall.
Google now is awesome

Google knows everything about you
It has nothing to do with Google, it's NSA got a hold of your phone.... lol
Tap'd via Note2...
Funny stuff. Reminds me of the time I bought frozen waffles.. had a craving... they had chocolate chips in em! I mean, like how the heck did they know I liked chocolate chips? Must be Obama flying drones over my house again. Crap... I can hear them in my phone.... sssshh...they are listening.

Welcome to the age of data mining. You can turn off location services under settings. Also turn off report usage or anything worded like that in the apps you use.
Google to find out more about managing location services.

Sensors
HA! I thought I was the only one. I have NFC Disabled on my Note2 and on my Spouses S3.....spouse walks through the Anti-Theft thingies-nothing. I walk through-Red Lights start flashing. This happens EVERY TIME I go to Target, Wal-Mart, and it happened at Sears last week. We now hold the receipt in our hand because we know that the sensors will go off.
Thank god im not the only one. This happened to me in the reebok outlet the other day and I said its my phone. Then I walked out and nothing happened. Then when i walked back in (embarrassed) it goes off. So its almost like at random.

Yep. Me too. Mine's been around for quite a while. I posted about it in some other thread someone started, maybe a month or 2 ago. So far I haven't noticed it really growing, and it hasn't affected operation/touch sensitivity that I can see. It's just WICKED ugly on stuff with white backgrounds.
I run lots of black backgrounds / themes (because I like them) so that hides it to a fairly good extent.
I have Best Buy insurance so I'm sure I could return it, and I will if it gets worse - but I'm kind of holding out just cause it would be a pain to re-stockify the thing, then get into best buy, then have to get a refurb and get it re-rooted and set up. Not that that is a huge deal, but the yellow spot doesn't bother me quite enough yet to push me to do that...
Mine appeared about a month after I got the phone. Same spot
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda app-developers app
Yeah.. I really don't feel like going back to stock, then having to re-rom. Especially since I don't know how the newer version that the lgog comes with will handle freegee and stuff.
Sent from my LG-E970 using xda app-developers app
I've been told it is glue holding things together melting. Not a huge issue but it causes dead spots.

I have the same issue on the exact same spot, would this be covered under att warranty?
