1. Did you do a Full Wipe of your DATA ?
2. Was Stock ROM Installed Before You Flashed my ROM
3. Errors on Not Working Phone -- Try flashing Modem.bin and cache.img
4. Accuweather Widget - Clear Data of TouchWiz Launcher...
can you Provide me logcat for these force closes.. ?
Edit - I Flashed the Rom and tested myself, I found NO issues on Phone or Accuweather..

No changes are made in notification panel.. it is as it is...
Well, It's based on a stock rom including all samsung's stuff - but modified and still contains the stock samsung stuff .. So could we call it a Custom-stock-ROM.

For now, This Rom is Only for SM-P601.. I'm planning to add support for SM-P600 in future..
Although it works fine for the p600. Just have to disable the phone stuff

You can use your old phone & contacts app for time being..that came with stock P601..

Last night flashing i didn`t install stock rom prior to installing your rom & with data wipe still had the phone issue.
Today even with installing stock rom , issue still persists, only the revert zip file solved the issue.
Hope you can resolve this issue soon,
Love the look & feel of your rom ( especially the contacts & phone from Tab S ) that I am sure will be resolved soon.
The accuweather widget press bug still excists for the p600 version. Touchwiz also crashes when I press the downloaded apps button in the app drawer. Anybody else get this?

One question, as you mention changes to the stock Samsung keyboard.
Would it be possible to change the alignment of the top row of characters for the Greek keyboard?
It is aligned to the left and it is both ugly and difficult to use.

As you can see, the second row is aligned to the left.
There should be an extra button to the far left (with the characters : and ; ).
I have no idea why Samsung did this. The ; is the greek questionmark. It HAS to be on the top left.
The apostrophe (') next to "Go" is also unnecessary. "Go" should be bigger, just like in the english layout.
Is it possible to change any of this? The top row is more important. At least a center alignment.
I'm attaching a pic of the Touchpad keyboard that has everything right.

I see that CSC is Italy by default.
Is this Rom multi-CSC ? Can we change the default?
Is saving my actual CSC directory content before flashing your ROM, and Restoring this saved files after flashing a possible path-way ?
I ask that because some people had problems ( Roaming cost ! ) with other countries in CSC than theirs.
( I am from Belgium, and mu actual CSC is LUXemburg ( it contains all belgian and luxemburgish Providers ie Proximus, Base, Mobistar, etc...)
btw, many thanks for this 1st custom rom for N5100 !!!!
If you have practice you can repack the rom with yours csc files but you have to insert feature (look at my others.xml)

Please Read!
First, You must already be running a KK rom to flash this. Must use Safestrap 3.75
Installation to Stock slot is Required. I will not support rom slots.
I am not responsible for any damage to your device. I will do anything i can to assist you, however it is your responsibility to read and have an understanding of what you are doing.
The installation of the ROM is at your own risk and by your own choice.
Following instructions is the responsibility of the USER!
Download rom and or theme and place on SDCard.
Reboot Device and enter Safe Strap by pressing menu on screen during splash.
Factory Reset from wipe menu is preferred. However dirty flash should be ok!
Install Rom.zip.
Install theme.zip if your using one.
Reboot device ( allow up to 5 minutes for device to boot to Setup wizard).
Wait 5 minutes to allow device to settle.

Q. What is a clean flash?
A. Clean flash is as follows....
Boot to ss
Hit wipe
Slide to factory reset
Back out
Hit install
Find zip
Slide to install
This deletes everything except data. You will have to set the phone up again. All your pics and sounds and downloads are safe and will be there when you return.
Super clean install is as follows....

Hit advanced

Reboot.
This will wipe everything on the phone, all pics, sounds, settings, everything will be gone, except the contents of the sdcard.

A. Dirty flash is as follows...

This deletes absolutely nothing, no wipe needed.

A.While in Safestrap if you select the "Wipe" button, you will then be taken to a screen with three options. Here is an attempt to somewhat clarify those options.
1. Swipe to Factory Reset - This is the most common way of wiping, and what is most commonly used for installing a new ROM. This option is considered a "Clean Flash".
2. Advanced Wipe - This option is used to specify partitions to wipe. It is generally okay to select all options here EXCEPT "Micro SDcard". This can also be used when doing a "Clean Flash".
3. Format Data - DO NOT USE the "Format Data" button. If you select it by accident you are going to be required to type the word "yes" to even proceed further. You have been hereby WARNED. If you refuse to heed this warning there is a good chance you will soft brick your phone.
Q. Can I flash to a slot?
A. Yes, you sure can. Expect bugs or issues, expect the reboot option in the power menu to NOT work.
Q. How do I flash a theme?
A. Flash the rom, then flash either S5 theme or GPE theme. You then can flash a color option for the GPE theme.
Q. How to I go back to stock?
A. Dirty flash the rom. (see above)
Q. Somethings are acting strange, is there a easy fix?
A. Boot to SS (safestrap) hit wipe, now hit advanced and check the cache and delvic cache box's ONLY! slide to wipe, reboot system.
Q. My signal is weak, is it the rom?
A. I highly doubt that, it's related to the modem and some are better than others depending where you are. Check out other Modems here.
Q. Where can I find the add-on'?
A. In the DK store. Hit menu/system settings/device then DK rom control.
Q. My battery life isn't very good, how can I find what's going on?
A. Download "wakelock detector" and "better battery stats". Then if you are still confused, take a screenshot and post it.
Q.What is that Bar on the top of my Status Bar?
A.That is the Miui Battery Bar, this can be altered or turned off in DK Rom Control under Status Bar Mods/Miui Battery Bar.
Q.Why do I have 2 batteries?
A.After first boot, You need to pick one to disable in Rom Control.
Q. How do I make my status bar transparent?
A. Go to the Rom Control and then tap status bar mods. Go down and tap "Status Bar Gradients." Now there should be 2 color options, just tap a color, then tap the box on the bottom right because that is the transparent. Do the same for the second color.
Q. Is off topic discussion allowed here?

Rom slots are not supported by Hash, therefore not supported by me.
That being said, Wally3685 is telling me that Slots are working fine with 1500mb for system and data partitions, and 400 for cache.
In my personal testing it seemed to work however the rom would not reboot and had to hard reset everytime.
Try at your own risk, i will only support Stock slot ATM.

-Just download (you can view changelogs).

will try. But I dont think it will work for dual sim users as the primary messaging app is the Google's latest messenger app.
My primary concern is to make the ROM bootable to homescreen. It does boot up, but then comes the problem, I have replaced the Samsung Setup Guide with Google's. But GPServices force closes and hence unable to complete the setup, I gonna try and fix it.
New bug
I did fix that gpservices fc bug, and ROM does boot to homescreen.
But then, Phone/Contacts FC, also settings fc when display setting is open.
Also i attach a screenshot that i took during setup (when i test the next build i post a prominent one :laugh:)

Once finished, boot up, first boot up will take long time. Whenever you see the setup guide, just skip through everything that requires things needed to be entered from keyboard (as no keyboard is bundled).

it's like that after installing (black screen)
Dim white screen
Hi,
I flashed your rom and I also got dim white screen (after waiting for it to boot for 20mins after flashing). Prior to flashing the rom, I wiped data/factory reset twice and wiped cache/partition thrice. I'm currently using cwm 6.0.3.7.

it seems you are flashing rom for the first time
since this rom is jellykat based you need to flash this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2709913
and then install the rom
and @AvinabaDalal mention this information in your post :silly:

Ok. But for me, when I was testing this ROM, I just directly flashed ROM, and I did not face any issues. I was running old stock firmware btw. If this problem a serious problem for many, I will have to fix it.

@psyduck I tried to use the kernel you referred but I got stock in the Samsung Galaxy Star Duos boot page. I tried to use the flashable kernel by t3snake and I successfully flashed it. Anyways, thank you for your help :good:

Can you tell me what ROM you were using earlier? If stock, try mention its build no.

In this update I've not just fixed the issue of font color over light[white] background, but also introduced 2 new Mods for Notification Panel. Choose which ever Mod suites you the best and Rock amongst your friends. No where in Lollipop you'll find a full translucent expanded notification panel. Installation process
Download Apna_Wala_Rom.zip & Theming.rar , keep them in extSdCard.
Boot into Recovery [pressing power+Home+VolUp, after it vibrates release Power button but keep the Home+VolUp pressed]
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe dalvik cache
Select install zip
choose zip from /external_sd or wherever you have kept it.
browse & select Apna_Wala_Rom.zip
Wait till it gets flashed. [It takes around 15minutes to complete flash]
Remove the battery and reboot normally [First boot may take upto 10minutes]
Things to do after complete installation & setup of device
Unzip Theming.rar via Es File Explorer & Install the apps one by one.
Goto Apex settings
Select Theme settings
Select & Apply Ovo
For wallpaper either download it from Devo or select it from Theming.rar attached files
NOTEThis ROM is a fresh built and it is recommended to flash it after wiping data/factory reset. Stock Rom or any other custom Rom is not required to be there on your device before flashing Apna Wala Rom. 3 timepass games are also given just for fun Please don't Curse me for it :laugh:

It is a stable ROM and so far no bug has been found, been using this ROM for past 1 month before finally releasing it. So feel free to give it a try.

Q 1. Do I need to have Pre-installed Stock Rom ?
A NO, a clean install is recommended.
Q 2. Waiting for more than 5 minutes in CWM at Writing system...
A Device is not stuck. It takes about 7-10mins to write system files.
Q 3.Taking too much time for first boot
A Yes, it may take upto 5-15minutes for the first boot, depending upon your SdCard.
Q 4.Dialer is white, and not like the first screenshot of the thread?
A The Dialer shown at the first screen shot is exDialer, you can download & install it from the Theming.rar, moreover you will get 6 more fantastic themes for your Dialer which you may like

A So far, I have not came across any apps that is not supported by Apna Wala Rom. If you find any, please inform.

I found some bugs bro.. 1) In settings some options r bigger than others.. 2)the clear button in header of notification panel is overlapped with date and time.. Rest of this the ROM runs fine and smooth like a charm.. Thanks for ur work..

yes, Options with slider in settings are bigger because of the ON/OFF switch
But that will not be causing any trouble for the safe working of your device.

sir I hav found tht the Tinted status bar app doesn't tint the status bar in lockscreen.. even if I override it's kind of annoying.. but xcept Cosmic V2 Rom.. all Rom faces this issue..!! any solution or make this upgrade in next version?

Thats not a bug. Change your lockscreen security to pin, password or pattern. And ypu will overcome this issue.

Hey guys it's enzo2001 here, introducing you Pixelized OS. My aim on this ROM is to make the tab 4 smooth, up to date and with Pixel look and Android P which is latest android version. I make Pixelized OS for 3 devices which is SM-T231/T230/T230NU, the difference between SM-T231 and SM-T230/T230NU is the SM-T231 version include Dialer, Contacts and Messages for 3G users while the SM-T230/NU version i removed Dialer, Contacts and Messages for Wi-Fi users.
In this ROM i removed lot of Samsung and System bloatwares and added many mods and tweaks to boost the ROM performance to max and i replaced stock samsung app to Material Apps and Google Apps except Dialer (SM-T231) and Contacts (SM-T231)

USEFUL INFORMATION ON FLASHING
Clean Flash:
1) Wipe Dalvik/ART Cache
2) System
3) Data
4) Cache & Preload
5) Flash ROM
Dirty Flash :
1) Wipe Dalvik/ART Cache
2) Cache & Preload
3) Flash ROM
TROUBLESHOOT PROBLEMS
Fix "Failed to mount/data" error in TWRP :
1) Backup all your files because this method will wipe all of your data
2) Go to TWRP
3) Go to Wipe box
4) Select Advanced Wipe
5) Check "DATA" and tap on "Repair or Change File System".
6) Tap Change File System
7) Change from EXT4 to FAT
8) Then change back from FAT to EXT4
9) Done.. now you can flash rom without any problems

Usage :
Extract the Pixelized Mods and follow all the steps below
Nova Launcher Setup (Android P Launcher) (Updated 2018-08-6)
The Nova Launcher Backup File will be updated regularly to keep up to date with the latest Android P Launcher, so please check this Nova Launcher Setup section to download the latest one.
1) After you install my rom the screen will appear "Welcome to Nova"
2) Simply click on "Select Backup"
3) Click on Browse..
4) Click on three dots on top right then click on settings
5) Tick both "Display Advanced Device" and "Display File Size"
6) Select the downloaded Nova Launcher Backup File
7) It will ask you to "Delete Current Layout ?" select "Yes"
8) Now on Nova Launcher homescreen tap on the widget on top of the screen
9) It will open the widget application.. on the "General Settings" there is a setting called "First Row Text Size" change it to "30sp"
10) If you want to enable the weather simply scroll down you will see "Weather Settings" then click on "Control The Weather" settings to enable the weather.. but if you dont use weather or dont want to consume much battery just leave it off
10) Now press back.. dont press home
11) Now for Android P Icon Pack just simply hold any app icon that u want to change tap edit > tap the icon > select gallery apps > select MiXplorer and locate ur downloaded Pixelized Mods
Xposed Installer Setup (Android P Style and features) :
Note : Some xposed module is hided from the app drawer but you can still find it in Xposed Installer > Modules.
1 - Activate all 8 modules, install/update xposed framework and reboot
2 - Neo Power Menu
1) Open New Power Menu
2) Go to Other > Tick Hide app in launcher > go to Backup and restore > Delete Settings > Tick All > Restart
3) Go back to Backup and restore > Restore settings > select the downloaded Pixelized Mods > Tick all and press ok > Restart

Thank you for this release. I have it installed on a T230nu and so far my initial impressions are pretty good, it's weird about the resolution...I kind of don't like it but in a way I do.. The font is soooooo tiny, I mean very, Very!!! Tiny, this can kind of be changed with the app settings xposed module, but honestly I think the factory resolution fits better, I use gboard swipe typing and it is kind of hard to do at this resolution. On the t230nu their is also a no service notification that is constantly there. On the recents menu the task manager and close all, is kind of cluttered and you cannot see what they really say. The ROM runs great though and I love how bare bones it is, I'll definitely keep track of this thread, and once again thank you for the work on this.

Thanks for the update. For anyone wondering this ROM really runs great and it's a nice balance between performance/battery. A thing to note though, some apps that will install on normal smt230 ROMs will not install, for example, Instagram. A easy way around that is too install yalp store , so no big deal.

Thanks for the feedback.. do u have any screenshot of the installing apps problem.. i think i can fix it
It's not a error, when you go to play store to install it, it says device is not compatible,on other roms it installs fine. If that problem was fixed and if you could turn off the no service thing, and disable more of the cell phone stuff I'd say this would be top pick of roms for this device.
Did you clean install or dirty flash the new rom? I had it happen to me a while back (maybe 10-12 versions ago of this rom) play store would not allow me to install basic apps that I had just installed before the flash. I would follow the directions, wipe & reinstall the rom. By the way Enzo2001, the version numbers are all screwed up again, making it very hard for a person to 1)download an update, because they are the same name, 2)during install of rom in TWRP, it shows a different name compared to the filename, 3)settings/about has different name than install name. It going to get confusing for all, including you

It was a clean flash, I never dirty flash a rom.

The title of your thread is "pixelized Rom v1.0. the 1st download link, the room is called pixel_light v1.0. then someone complains of the text being to small, you give a link to a new version called pixel_ light v1.0 which is the same as the 1st version. Then in twrp it says you are installing a different name Rom, and finally the settings/about. Please clean it up so people don't install the wrong one. For example, I used a file mgr, I looked at download time and date to know which to use, but in twrp/install, it doesn't show the date & time

Okay for the next update i'll change to Pixelized ROM v1.1 on settings,thread and installation file.. sorry for confusing you, also on Pixelized ROM v1.0 can you help me search "Instagram" on play store and see if there is any message saying that is not compatible
Actually it will be very 1.3. You already have 2 downloads. 1) the original in the beginning of this thread. 2)the update to enlarge the screen font. Thanks, I'm only trying to help, I am not trying to be picky.
