How did you manage to do that?

Doesn't work with any version of VROOT! Is there any other way?

Hi Use Towelroot
open the below URL from the tab
https://towelroot.com/
click on the lamda sign to download the APK install it and run it
click make it Rain
when done download and install superSU from Market place install binaries normal
if you want to check download root checker from Market place

I get my device rooted with KingRoot.apk.
The Best One, Simple and Easy.
BTW,
Which custom rom is the best for our 721u?

TowelRoot worked for me. I'm having trouble finding custom ROMs for this device. Any tips?

Yes, a very important question! I also bought S4 Zoom two days ago and I really miss full access to the system
Tried to use the Unlock Root 4.10 Pro. The device is determined, the process takes place, but in the final writes "root is not received, wait for software updates."

I think the Kingo Root is the best.
Install Samsung Drivers first.
Download it on your pc.
Turn on USB debugging.
To turn debug on tap on build number in settings and about device.
Connect your device.
Let the program do the Root.
Let it Reboot.
And you are done.

Stock ROM or Custom ROM for Datawind Ubislate 7CZ

Dear Friends,
I have a Ubislate 7cz tablet, I tried a ROM flash on the device and it leads to soft boot loop. The only option for me is to go to recovery mode. I would like to install a ROM from SD card using "select update from sd card" option, but I don't proper ROM in zip format. So I am in need of a ROM which is either OEM or custom suitable for my device. If there is ROM of any other device is suitable for me please inform.
Friends, who have Ubislate 7 cz please extract your ROM and send it to me. For your information I tried various steps like restore factory setup. But without a ROM they all are useless.
Please help me buddies........

This looks like the easiest method yet! Is this root method compatible with decrypting? Ik some people have been reporting that with certain root methods they lose root after decrypting and re rooting makes them re encrypt.

I would also be interested in knowing this. I just decrypted and then rooted with Wugs NRT and it re-encrypted my device.
Looks like a nice way to root. I just had my Nexus 6 delivered a few hours ago. Sometime during this upcoming holiday weekend I will be unlocking the bootloader and rooting my new device. I might have to try out rootME. I'd like to hear some feedback from people that have used this method to gain root.

If you decrypt then use fastboot to install twrp and flash SuperSU by chainfire you will stay unencrypted use the newest beta by chainfire.... Most of the root toolkits replace the kernel and it's back to encrypted that way

Possibly because most longterm nexus fans will root via ADB terminal on their PC and do it manually, also people still dont have devices yet.

Yes. RootME root over CF-Root and this needed unlocked Bootloader.

to add to this, i believe this installed a malware into my chrome. DO NOT INSTALL! I'm pretty sure about this one. Use CF auto root for fast and easy root.

root the device the right way, it takes about 4-5 minutes.
1. use fastboot while your in your bootloader and type.. fastboot oem unlock. this will unlock your bootloader.
2. fastboot flash a custom recovery.
3. flash the latest supersu in your new recovery.
4. reboot with root.
that's it, the right way.

Hi All
My Huawei Y520 u22 is rooted.
Actually this is my third post on xda.
If you need rooting without PC, this is the method below:
Important : i have provided my own link to the apk because i do not trust other links on the net.
The app is called KingRoot
not
Kingo Root, it is not my app and i do not take credits for its great work.
1. download KingRoot app (.apk) from here (no viruses, safe, i actually uploaded it from my Phone)
https://mega.nz/#!BhETQCBJ!ir5MTFmnujXsvm5XH6vBu5OyW-AW5MRo0dnnDd0AmB8
Just in case links don`t work, download the attached files at the bottom instead.
2. Install it and run it. Follow the instructions on screen and let the magic happens.
3. It has its own SuperUser/SU so dont have to worry about anything, unless you prefer your own favorite.
4. To Install Wipe Dalvik Cache or Install Custom ROMs you need to install an app like Root Tools / Rom Manager or any other.
This app works without PC so never worry about that, Root your phone while you on a plane :victory:,
Feedback please if it works for your phone.

[GMS][P40/Pro/Lite] How to install Google Play Store and Google Mobile Services

I recently purchased a Huawei P40 in a super offer. Most likely without this "offer you can't refuse" I would never have bought a phone without pre-installed Google services.
After days of research and guides that never worked I found this video guide created by Stefano Nikolov in his YouTube channel which, on the contrary, works perfectly.
This guide works with all the recent Huawei phones (P40, P40 Lite, P40 Pro, etc.) and you can add your Google Account (one or more but ONLY at the beginning of the configuration), use Google Play Store and Google Mobile Services (in Italy it works also for the Covid-19 application).
It's very simple, it's just 10 steps and it works. I have tried it twice consecutively on my Huawei P40 and it has always brought the desired result, without those annoying Play Protect notifications that appear after following other procedures. With the addition of Customized Pixel Launcher or Lawchair you can transform your Huawei without GMS into a Pixel like phone.
What is not working:
- The device is still uncertified (I tried to manually add the Framework ID but it doesn't work)
- Google Assistant cannot be activated by voice ("Ehy Google" cannot be enabled)
- Google Duo SMS activation doesn't work (you cannot use Google Duo)
- Google Contacts app cannot create new contact on Google account (official Huawei Contacts app will work for this, so don't use Google Contacts app)
Here is the video guide:

@noppy22 I'm sorry to disturb you, is it possible to cross-post on the P40 Pro and P40 Lite forums or do I have to create two more threads? Thanks.

There isn't any way to cross-post as AFAIK. You would have to copy-paste in each discussion forum.
I've tried various methods now but I cannot get the lzplay app to run, it just says it's now supported on my device, the P40 Lite 5g. Any ideas?

I've tried at least 5 methods found. None of the work for me. Apparently, I can't save the account on the phone regardless what method I'm trying.
It's just not working with the initial firmware or the update...

I am also stuck at this screen for my Nova7 5G.
But for P40 lite, this can be resolved by changing date. Pls check latest fix.
