GPe Modem Update
Update script to flash the modemst, s1_boot, rpm, fsg, fota_supdater etc that was in the full OTA without updating the /system
The idea id to flash these files if you are on a custom ROM etc.
I'm looking for a tester and a DEV (@doomlord or @graffixnyc) to check this script over to make sure that it will work as expected.
DO NOT FLASH until a dev has had a look at it

I had PM'd you the link to the zip. I had taken the steps from the OTA update. I've not seen a link to a full OTA to 4.4.3

I totally recommend doing an full wipe first as you are going from 4.3 to 4.4.2! I would say there will be issues otherwise
This means that samsung release kitkat on the 605(LTE snapdragon) soon?

Yes TWRP flashable but do a full wipe
I got it coming from Rapidgator .. but slow as hell right now.
Not sure if Mega's upload will beat me on this one.

First of all I am not responsible for ANY issues you may experience when using this or flashing this, you mess up your device its your fault
THIS IS FOR LG G3 D855 MODEL ONLY! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH ON ANY OTHER MODEL!
This is stock lollipop build V20C for d855, it is safe to flash, you will not lose bump, if you want root, you need to flash the latest root zip from chainfire, this is simply stock rom + LP Modem + stock kernel (bumped)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Flash bumped recovery here
2. Backup, then do full wipe
3. Flash this ROM in TWRP
4. REBOOT - Done
There is no root in this rom please stop spamming the thread, if you don't know how to root or have never rooted and want it in this rom move alone please

If you've got "white" (routable in public internet) ip, you can create a torrent (without specifying trackers) and upload .torrent here. Way better than proprietary hosting.

I've flashed v2 on concept. I can't work out how to install the su binary. I've tried flashing supersu zip from chainfire. What's the proper way?
EDIT: nvm! I saw this review which said you download it first, then flash it in recovery. That works fine (I had tried adb sideload in recovery first, but it didn't work).
wifi gets broken with the latest update. phone boots and works nicely, the only thing is wifi is not working. Any chance you provide us with your kernel for 1581 update?

I'm on stock 5.1.1 and wondered if I could usw this kernel to get recovery. After that I would use recovery mode to flash cyanogenmod 12.1. It would be much easier then downgrading, rooting and so on....

is it safe to flash from KK? coz i downgraded to KK from LP due to battery drain problems.
Good to hear guys, but i have no clue why root didn't work, or not working for you. I use same method on my Z2.
Upgrade should work, but u need to flash an advanced stock or custom kernel to work and gain full root rights.
I have problem with location service and GPS. When turn GPS only got random robot, and when I set battery saver not response on location at all. This is mess!
I have custom kernel, but root only works with Supersu_fix
ok, i forgot to include init.d folder, in next update all should work.

Wipe cache and dalvik solved the cause by now.

1: On the PC, open the command console and then type "fastboot flash boot boot_magisk.img"

It is assumed that you should be able to update OTA without problems, since the kernel I made is the stock of Motorola with the Magisk patch, and according to the developer, its root application allows OT updates.
Is this for all g5s plus devices? I'm using a xt1803.

This kernel is designed for users who want root but do not want to use the TWRP, added to this, add some modifications that handle a bit better the work of the kernel, thus giving ... a better consumption of

It's my opinion that all ROMs should come pre-rooted, and leave it up to the user to un-root if they want - I think that way is 100x better.
Without root, it feels like it's not even your device, it's like you are carrying the device belonging to some other company, and they should pay you to use it. I honestly think it should be illegal to sell smartphones without giving root to the customers. Sure, you could turn it off by default, but it should at least BE THERE from the factory, with an option to enable it.

Does it? I used to always disable this haptic feedback/vibration - but on this phone I found it's actually very cool - the vibration is such a high frequency that I found I like it now and changed my opinion, so I leave it on.
It's not so much as buzz/rumble, it's actually more of a "tone" that you feel now.
Can you please mention what changes u did in the kernel?
