I came to know of unlock root software or SRSroot software that can successfully root celkon A225 model.
In addition to rooting do i need to unlock bootloader? If so how to do it?
Also after rooting and unlocking bootloader will i be able to upgrade to android 4.4.3.
Please give steps to achieve the same.

Hey guys. Been looking for hours this evening/night for some tutorial to root my newly bought D6502 ROM 23.0.1.A.0.167 ,but couldn't find anything handy, all I found is some tutorials which include the downgrade to a previous ROM and then upgrade again which in my case is very tough as I have a slow internet connexion. Please guys if you know of any method that doesn't require downgrading, I'll be thanful
If you want to root without downgrade, then you have to unlock your bootloader and flash custom kernel. As your device is new, I do not recommend this method to you.. This will void your warranty.
So.... I got lollipop whithout rooting or changing anything (everything stock) but now i want to root my Phone and add a recovery, is it possible in android 5.0.2? Or i have to downgrade to kitkat?
i Think you schold Downgrade, other unloock Bootloader and Root directly
You can root without downgrading. But u have to have unlocked bootloader
anybody know How to root xperia m4 aqua (D2353) [26.1.A.2.167] without unlock bootloader? , i've try many guide and many universal root apps in pc or desktop with windows. but no one of them is success, anybody know how to root this device without unlock bootloader?
yes first you have downgrade to the firmware - 26.1.A.1.112
i had the same device , do everything in this guide , make sure you download the 26.1.A.1.112 firmware when you downgrade from 26.1.A.2.167
+you can also backup the TA Partition after rooting (For warranty)
you can find the detailed guide here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64565057&postcount=5

Thanks for your comment , i'm not sure to downgrade firmware version, cause overheat and bloatware issue in old buid. btw this is not my primary device, so i can't check it frequently. any method available again?
seems like you havent visited the link i have given, if you want to root your phone without unlocking the bootloader, you have to downgrade and install the root, then you can upgrade tothe latest version
Okay, I'm sorry for that before. yeah i'm not read it completely sorry, i will try it. thanks
hi
I want to update to marshmallow for my sony c5 ultra dual (E5533?).
the device is rooted and unlocked and I have removed some system app(bloatware basically) and disabled some others.
now my question is this: if I want to update to marshmallow(6) but don't need to have root and/or unlocked status, can I do that easily ? the guides here are for having root and unlock and keeping it after the updates. I don't need the root.
if the answer is yes ( and please explain the steps and files needed) if in future I again need root and/or unlocked for twrp ,can I do that later again?
Hi everyone I have just had my phone bl unlocked by mos and would like to root. What is the best method to do this if possible a guide
