Hi, I have an Acer Iconia B1 tablet, and I'm stuck with Android 4.1.2.
I'm trying to pair with a Verbatim 96674 bluetooth mouse, but the pairing process insists in asking for a PIN code, and does not allow to pair without it. The small catch is that this (and probably any bluetooth mouse on earth) does NOT require a PIN. :silly:
I have tried every single bluetooth pairing app from the store, without success. The "bluetooth pairing" app (com.jpn.frontia.waka.Bluetooth) almost worked, but it never paired the mouse, while "blueinput demo" (com.teksoftco.android.blueinput) reports that my Android "does not support HID", and when trying to pair using SPP, it does not work either.
The question is, can I pair manually with some of those bluetooth SPP apps in the store? Is there ANY chance of pairing this mouse with Android 4.1.2 or getting a bluetooth mouse with security PIN?
Thanks in advance.

I am in the same boat trying to use my Sony BD remote on an android tv stick. However I can't even find the com.jpn.frontia.waka.Bluetooth apk. Seems like that app is no longer available anywhere. Can someone put it up plz.

Hello,
I have problem or maybe I just need a new pair of glasses, I have updated my HTC One S (Vallec) to this unofficial release:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2527962
and now I can not pair with my handsfree via bluetooth.
When i try to pair with it, it says incorrect PIN, but there is nowhere I can enter the PIN for pairing. Is there any way to enable PIN entry when pairing with device?
Thank you
Hi
I have a stock Mate 9 Pro. I connect via BT to my car without problems - but trying to connect to my iPad Air at home (in order to use smart screen unlock through BT as Huawei does not support Google Smart Lock), it won't connect.
I can pair the two without any problems - but right after that - I'm unable to connect them.
I tried un-pairing, rebooting etc. both devices with no luck.
Can anyone help?
Regards,
Kenneth
I have a Yota3 upgraded to 3+ and a Sony Smartwatch 3.
The smartwatch was connected with my old Yota2. I can not connect the smatwatch with my new Yota3+.
I have resetted the smartwatch several times and deinstalled Wear and reinstalled it.
Bluetooth is working, I have connected a speaker without problems.
When I try to connect the pairing code is shown on the Yota3+ but not on the smartwatch.
Have somebody connected a Android Wear watch with the Yota3+?
Thanks

I have a Yota 3+ connected to a Huawey Watch 2 watch. Everything works well. Did you remember to turn off the clock in the Wear OS settings on your Yota 2?
Yes, I disconnected the watch from Yota2.
With two other old smartphones I can connect the watch without problems ....:crying:
Solution
How I solved it.....
Start pairing on my old Yota2 and on my new Yota3+ at the same time.
Both mobiles displayed a (different) pairing code.
The watch displayed the pairing code of the old Yota2.
I confirmed the (different) pairing codes on the watch and the Yota3+.... and the watch paired with the Yota3+!
DONE.
Real Solution ....
How I solved it, part 2.
The real problem was .... empty device name under blutooth setting ..... :silly:
