Hi all Tech Geeks,
I am a beginner in this forum. I have few questions, and model I am using is Lenovo K900.
My questions.
1. Can I update to Android 4.4? I don’t see any install pushed from Lenovo side.
2. Can I root my phone?
3. As per my understanding rooting customer ROM is required. Is the customer ROM available, if yes, can someone please give me the link?
4. If I want to root, could someone please tell me how to do, what is the step by step procedure? As am new to this, I really don’t have any idea how to do.

Hi guys,
I have just bought this device a few weeks ago and I started to search for more information on the internet. I realised that many of you have just made an upgrade in the Operation System. It passed from Windows Mobile 5.0 to 6.0.
I am an amateur on this issues, so I would like to ask you, how to do this upgrade from the beginning. I mean all the process to end. If you do not mind, mention all steps.

If you don't want to run the risk of unlocking you can search for a shipped rom that will update to WM6 easily.

I want to update my phone to the latest custom ROM available. I have xperia10i, firmware version 2.1-updare1 and baseband version 2.0.46. Before you decide to loathe me for not searching the forum and direct ranting a question. I did try to get the answer to my query but was bombarded with so much information but reading so much of update info available at the forum. And off-course for a newbie like me these all info was too much. So please I will be delighted if some1 is co-operative enough to direct me to a easy step by step update instructions. Thanks.

I was in Vietnam, my english is not very good, I had to find ways to root their jetstream tablet but I do not understand all instructions in the forum very much. I have a Huawei G750-T20 , running Android 4.2.2 with EmotionUI2.0.
Basically i want to get rid of the Emui and i need an idiot proof guide on the simplest way to do it.
From what i understood i need to root and then flash a different rom, but how exactly do i do that?
If such a noob friendly guide already exists, please point me in the right direction, if not then someone please help me out.

Hi, unfortunately, I can't find any information about a working root method for this device on XDA.

I found an external post with instructions on rooting it with Root Genius.
Assuming it will work and it won't brick my phone, what would be the following steps?
