I've installed it but do I have to write something to somewhere?
you just have to open it and tap "Download files and apply ad blocking"
you may need to install busybox (use busybox installer from Play"

GT-I9300 with siyah kernel 1.5. Trying to enable swap partition by using hardswap mod:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1814311. But after I installed terminal emulator, there's no free command. The terminal displays "/system/bin/sh: free: not found ".
Another question is that when I was installing the zip in cwm, one line of the output was "script successfully installed to init.d", but I can't find that folder at all. Where is it?
Try installing busybox. Download an app that does this by searching for "busybox" on the market.
Stericson's (don't know if I spelt that right) or JRummy's busybox installers should be fine.

Look in: /system/etc :highfive:
I have BB 1.18.4 still from the old doomlord kit, installed into system/xbin, and I noticed that some mods/tweaks/apps require it installed in /xbin, while others need it into /bin. So my question is, if I use Busybox Installer to install the 1.20.2 to both folders, will it harm my device having two busyboxes installed at the same time?
You could install it in xbin and then symlink it to bin.

Err, how to symlink it? I find something like console commands searching around, but i don't know where to put them =(
I think you have some learning to do.
You can install busybox in both directories. The order of directories in $PATH will prevent issues with having it installed twice.

Thanks, I'll go directly with the double install then.
Just one more thing that just happened, I usually use Busybox Installer for that, but when I select the installation for the right version, before dowloading the install files, it stops and says I have a bad internet connection, even tho my 3G works perfectly. Did anyone else experience this?

Yeah, I know this is old thread, but I have some related questions: if busybox is already installed in system/bin by kingroot, why should I install a binary update in system/xbin as busybox installer wants to do by default? If it is in both paths, which one is going to do the job? or... Why do I actually want to have two busybox copies in two separate directories if I "can" have just one? And last: most people suggest to install busybox in system/xbin, so why kingroot choose to do it in system/bin?...
Man quetion.. I'm curious what the answers are to these please!..
Hello!
I have flashed my SGS-I9100 successfully with CM11 M3 (Version 11-20140210-SNAPSHOT-M3-i9100).
Now, I want to install app "OpenVPN Settings" that is depending on a specific binary openvpn.
In order to install this binary, the developer provides another app "OpenVPN Installer".
The issue with CM11 is that this installer app cannot set /system (and its related partition) to rw mode in order to put the binary to /system/xbin.
In /system/xbin another binary file "busybox" is located.
I have attached a screenshot displaying the app log.
Question:
Is there a workaround e.g. to manually set /system to rw mode and then complete the installation?
If yes, how would that realised?
Or are there other options to fix this issue?
THX
Yes with root explorer. Don't forget to set root in phone settings.

Hi
I did manage to root my desire 610 device with android 4.4.2.
In apk busybox instaleer i see that my device is rooted
busybox location is /system/xbin
and it's version is v1.24
ROM version: KOT49H
i installed busybox on rails cuz i couldn't do it through busybox installer.
meanwhile i got downloaded superSU and lucky patcher.
Lucky patcher now doesn't message me "busybox couldn't find file"
but I wanted to install modded play store from lucky patcherwebsite.
The problem is that
1. Install latest Lucky Patcher.
2. Run Lucky Patcher > Menu > Select "Patch to Android".
3. Select "Signature Verify always True" and "Disable Zip Signature Verify" > Apply > Yes.
After this point my phone is rebooting and i can't get "patch applied" as a result.
I tried many times and still got this problem. :crying:
Do i need Xposed?
What can be wrong? how can I install it properly?
Please help me with it guys!
I've read almost all guides tutorials but i can't find any informations how to solve that problem.
Sounds like you still have the /system partition write protection enabled. Try installing the mod I posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-610/development/mod-wpmod-disable-write-protection-t3149168 first.

I really appreciate your replay to my topic.
Here a link to latest twrp http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/246
I usually use the fastboot method to install but as long as you are rooted the app or dd thru terminal emulator methods should work fine.

I did it throught terminal emulator.
I did manage to save file to /system.
and now i stuck again.
I try to do it from there>akkihub modded google play store com.[ can't link while below 10 posts]
in manual installation i stuck at point
For Kitkat, copy/replace renamed apk to '/system/priv-app' folder
it says i can't do that.
I did copy/replace file to '/system/app/'
and tried to install it while google play store was shutted down in settings>aplications
still no luck
so i install xposed
and i can't install any app that needs to be paid.
do i need to add any fund firstly or it's just not working yet?
