[Q] Need help finding firmware - Xperia Z2 Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I brought a Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet - SGP521 from telstra (australia) and flashed it with SGP521 17.1.1.A.0.402 Nordics FIRMWARE and has been working great for the last couple of weeks. However now the tablet has a fault with the screen.
I would like to reflash it with the orginal telstra firmware so that i can sent it off for repair however can not find the original firmware to flash it with.
Model: SGP521
Region: Australia
Customization number: 1281-1439 (orginal Telstra C/N)
If could help me get the original firmware from sony that would be great, if you need any more information let me know

I think that thread is for the phone

I've uploaded the Telstra SGP521 firmware here

You will need to use winrar 5.0 or above to decompress

I'm sorry but can someone please show me where I can find the latest firmwares ?

I went on the samfirmware.com website but it says the latest firmwares are from Jan 2012 ???? how is that even possible ?
I am looking for the latest firmware for Canada. I know it was released recently, because my friends are updating, but I'm on a custom ROM and I just want to find the latest ICS firmware and flash it.
Please help!
try the link below, and you should also check your Region Code first:

It's NOT possible. No offense, but if you can't navigate a website to find the latest firmwares (which are from May for the i9100 as of the time of this post), perhaps you should rethink flashing anything to your phone personally.

Better than asking this question
No its not same region
It will fail
Sent from my HUAWEI KII-L21 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Thanks for the reply ,
Ok so it won't work, will just have to wait for the Malaysian version to be released
Anyone have an idea when that may be
Thanks
It's crap that these things are region locked. I want to use the US ROM on my UK 5x but Huawei won't let me.

[SGP611] Last KK Firmware anyone?

Hi,
I'm trying to find out what was the latest KK (4.4.4) based firmware version before LP (5.x) arrived but I'm not able to find any information for the SGP611 (WiFi only, 16GB) nor any download link but for 23.0.1.A.0.167 (which, I think, was the very first one).
For the SGP621 (with LTE) I found the following on PTCRB:
23.0.1.A.3.12
23.0.1.A.4.30
23.0.1.A.0.167 -> This one I have.
So question is: Have versions 23.0.1.A.3.12 and/or 23.0.1.A.4.30 ever been released for SGP611 (which I assume)?
If so, would highly appreciate anyone to share a download link, preferably for Customized CE or Customized DE but doesn't matter much.
Is it possible to flash a FW from the SGP612 (WiFi only, 32GB) onto the SGP611 (WiFi only, 16GB)?
Thanks!
So, at least for the SGP612 a KK firmware 23.0.1.A.3.12 does exist. Interested may download from here.
Would expect the same version to exist for the SGP611, but still can't find it anywhere :crying:

(Request) Can anyone give me stock FTF/Firmware MM 305?

Hi guys
Can anyone give me a stock rom for Z5 Compact Mm 305? UK would be the best
Thanks in advance
Michelangelo.
I cannot find 32.2.A.0.305 anywhere but 32.2.A.5.11 (Customized UK) is still available for download through XperiFirm.
If I recall correctly 32.2.A.5.11 is Marshmallow with November security updates.

Also, have you tried 32.3.A.2.33 (Nougat)? This update fixed the laggy video playback for me.

Odin fails on system.img while flashing stock ROM

I have s6 edge with model number sm-g9250 the chinese version but it lacked google apps and had all those chinese apps so by some research I found that there is a another ROM from hong kong (instead of chinese ROM) that should contain google apps so I downloaded it from sammobile (latest one from hong kong) and tried to flash it using odin but it failed on system.img.
The bootloader is locked because it prevented me from instaling twrp earlier saying ny device is locked but I don't think that should be a problem with a stock ROM.
So why is this happening?
Any ideas why would this happen generally?
Did you ever figure this out? I am dealing with this exact problem on the same exact phone/model.

Just figured this out (if you're still having the issue), read this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ash-china-s6-edge-g9250-to-hong-kong-t3647280
theres a .pit file you need. Once you get that it flashes fine!
Good luck!
