Okay I have to admit that isn't worth the money.
Which one did you get though???
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Free mobile app
something like the first one.
but i really wonder WHY it does that!
I mean... i used the original Sony Wallcharger! 1.5A and just pluged it (with the sony cable) in the back of the charger!
Then the phone wen't out of battery and died... restartet after 5 minutes, and then i booted into the OS.
Thats the only reason i can imagine why it would charge so slowy. i mean.. i used exact that same wall charger via microUSB and it worked fast and fine!
i mean, how the hell would they limit the Ampere flowing trough the dock ? some included resistors?
If i have to much time i'll try and open it. but i could swear the cheapest way would be a simple (two...) from the microUSB port to the magnets. And this is chinaware! gotta be the cheapest way!

First of all Hello to you all!
This is my first post here so please have some patience with me .
So let's start...
A friend of mine had a XDA1. He droped it a few times and after a while he stoped using it. Now I saw it at his place and asked him about it. He said he couldn't remember if it workes or not because he hasn't used it for some time. Then he said I can have it.
The problem is that is only the XDA and nothing else. The accessories he gave to someone else and some maby he threw away, I don't now.
So now I have a XDA but I don't know if it works or not and have nothing to charge it with.
I tend to think that it doesn't work because the display looks funny on the inside. The exterior doesn't have anything but on the interior it looks crashed and has some white areas.
So my first questions are what charger to ask for at the store or at the service and if the display needs to be replaced is it worth it to change it?
Thank you for your patience to read my post and for you replies.
Here is a picture with the display:

well. i think you'll need to get a charger first. but i dont know if it will help much. that screen looks pretty messed up
Thanks for you reply.
I figured out that I need a charger, but what should I ask for? It must have a model number I think.
I Guess the Easyest way to get a Charger (and a Data Cable too) is to Use The Colorefull 4 Letter Internet Auction house (ebay) just use the Term XDA Charger and you will get what you are searching for.. I bought mine there to.. and got a Data Cable and a Charger with an USB Connector
it works Fine and if the Device is Broken you can sell it again there ;-)
Look at the state of this. Batt crapping out on me?

I ordered a spare batt and now when i try to put the original one back in the phone does not boot unless i plug the charger in first then it works as normal. So every time i take the batt out i have to plug it in to the wall before i can use it? Pretty much destroys the point in why i got a spare battery

I dont know whats happening but provide the following details and someone here might be able to help.
- which ROM are you using? If stock then which region?
- since when did you start getting this problem?
- did this issue arise after you installed any application?
- did you always used the official smassung charger and battery?

Looks like your phone crashed or froze during a period so it couldn't read the battery statistics.
Stock 2.3.4 from south east england always used default charger, not installed any new apps for weeks now. Happend after a crash followed by automatic restart. Random.

Anyway, it's so few. The game is not worth the candle. It will be easier to buy a extended battery, for example here
Hello,
I've never used the stock charger but realising it may be the cause of some poor performance, I took it out of it's box, plug it and then.. Nothing happens?
Actually the charger was in my former i9100G box. But even if the G version had a different charger, it's still just an usb charger and something should happen! Can I open it to check the inside?
Sent from my GT-I9100
You could, hell, you can do whatever you want.
Now, what you should do is to check info on this regard, G variant is underclocked so it might need less juice from the power socket.
Low charge is good charge in my opinion but then again, what the hell do I know.
I'm pretty sure someone else already tried this, it has to be in the interbet sonewhere.
Sent from the little guy
I've checked again, even though the charger model is SAME, the usb connector looks sightly different...
It could also be a fake charger! Writing on it is not clear as the i9100 charger.
Serial starts by DK, other starts by RT. Left is i9100, right is i9100G.

So return it to the seller, get a refund, buy one from someone reputable (And don't make multiple threads about the same issue, you should know a lot better than that given how long you've been here :-/)
Multiple thread..? Curious where you see that! Actually I wanted to post on the I9100G global thread but couldn't find it. Now I did

Do I have to use a branded Asus charger to get the fast charge? I'm using an old Huawei one and I don't seem to get the faster charging as I did on my P30 Pro.
Looking to purchase a 2nd, smaller charger if there is a compatible one?
I guess any QC3 or PD charger should work.
Will this give me the fast charge I'm after?
PD3.0 PPS or QC 4.0 will according to Specification.
A friend of mine with ZF9 tells me that even with original Asus charger and cable it appears the "Hypercharge" text on the phone, but the real charging speed is slow; anyone else with the same issue? Thanks!
most battery management will only charge fast when the battery is almost fully drained, generally following this curve. You'll see like 5W or something when closer to 90% battery, even on silly charging protocols like SuperVOOC. https://www.androidauthority.com/fast-charging-explained-2-889780/

I know this, is not the first phone with fast charge that I see, and my friend too is not so noob.
So, the problem appears on his phone even with battery on very low percentage.
