[q] need a nandroid backup for spice mi 502!! - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed CWM recovery in my SPICE MI-502 using MTK Droid tool in my PC. I backup my stock ROM. Later on by mistake i formatted everything (= system, boot, cache) etc. In addition to that I even formatted my memory card. I had copied the backup to my PC. But due to problems in PC i fromatted my PC too !!! Now i do not have anything in my Phone except for the CWM recovery I installed. I tried modify the stock - nandroids backups of other spice models and install it but didnt work. I also tried to find a custom rom for my device which of course i could not find, trying my best Now the only option is to restore the nandroid backup if any other spice mi 502 users have created. PLEASE HELP!! .
I wont misuse the backup for sensitive informations etc . I just need my system back. Could anybody help me with this ? Or you could also provide me with Custom rom for Spice Mi 502 .
OR Any suggestions ????

Little question sirs

Hi
I'm a new member , I really found that you're brilliant developpers
My quest is : if I wanted to install a MOD or a theme , or even tried to change the whole ROM , and something went wrong with me , what can I do to fix it ?
NOTE : I've fully backuped my phone via Titanium Backup
Thanks a lot
PCC and SEUS are primary for fixes!
Sent from my xperia "z10i"
You need to firstly root your rom with flashtool
http://uploaded.to/file/g3uingdb
This will install xrecovery and busy box on your phone
Then back up your rom via xrecovery this will be a full nandroid backup of your generic rom which you can save on your micro SD card or PC then go ahead and install roms

Click to collapse
Recovery does not save stuff onto your pc, it saves the backups onto your sd card
(for xRecovery the backup is stored at sdcard/xRecovery/backups, similar for CWM recovery)
Every time you decide to flash a new rom/theme always remember to do a full nandroid backup through recovery. titanium backup can only back apps and not the full system.
thanks all
My afraidness is that my xRecovery says that I can't backup because there's some lost files !!
Why that **** ???
Thanks a lot again
Yes I know but you can copy it to your PC which will be a backup
Thanks everybody , everything is awsome , everything went well , I could finally have a full system backup

[Q] Help me PLZZ :'(

Hi all , i am a noob on android and i have install cyanogenmod 9 on my phone lg optimus l3 e400....
before i install CM9 i backup all data but i dont know how to restore my phone , i mean i wanna remove CM9 and get back my android 2.3.6 gingerbread
Help me plzzz , my phone is too bad !!!
I usually do same thing, only do a backup of my personal files (contacts, photos...) and download the programs another time of PS.
I know that it is not a great help, but is easy and fast.
Boot into Clockworkmod recovery. Wipe data and cache and then go into backup and restore. Choose restore. If your backup is there just choose that and your phone will do the rest. If it isn't there, try restore from internal sd card.
Hope this helps.
all depends on how you "backed up"

[Q] Full Backup of a S2

Hi guys, I was wondering is it possible to use Titanium Backup to make a full backup of my S2, and when i say full backup, I mean a Full Image of the Smartphone?
Like we can do with a PC or Mac?
If yes can someone point me to a guide?
If not, is there any app capable of doing it?
Thanks in advance.
No. Titanium cannot do this. A nandroid (CWM) backup is the closest thing to this; backs up everything except your external SD card & modem. It is essentially a 'snapshot' of the phone at the time you took it & if you restore one, it will revert your phone almost exactly to the state it was in when you took the backup (apart from the external SD card & modem if you've changed it as previously mentioned).
No, it is not possible to do a total 'image' of an Android phone as you would a PC, but if you do a Nandroid backup & also Titanium backup your apps regularly (either weekly/every few days or before you make changes to your setup), that will enable you to either recover or revert any changes quickly/easily.
Thanks for your help.
You're welcome
Just one more thing....if your on 4.1.2 make sure you bkup preload or nand wont restore.
Backup of S2.
Hello, i too would like to find a "way" or a "guide" to do a full backup of everything on my phone with a single click. Yes I'm New to it all... and before i rooted with siyah i backed up my phone via (KIES) followed the youtube root video Yep! Rooted my phone happy as larry THEN BANG! Kies wont recognise my device! Backup On My Pc USELESS! and yes i am at my wits end to try recover them text messages but ive started from scratch now on the dark side, now i wouldent mind a FULL BACKUP of everything .. except sd, so i can bring my phone back to samsung land get my contacts etc.. then cross back over to the darkside.
list of installed apps:
titanium , es file explorer , mobile odin , my files (lol) , air droid , spooffw , busybox , triangle away , sms backup & restore , bluetooth file transfer +++ more tried everything lol.
Thanks For Reading!
For 4.1.2 go with philz kernel. Go into recovery and tick preload Bk up and you will have a working nand on stock jelly bean read about it:thumbup: For custom Roms like cm aokp id use dorimanx 9.whatever and use hawkerpauls preload Bk up and restore scripts. Or you could just use hawker scripts for both jb and custom Roms.check to see if what ever your backing uses preload.

[Q] gti9300 efs problem

hi guys.
this is my first post. first off thanks to all of you out there who have helped me root 3 different devices and install custom roms on 2 of them.
my third device is my gti9300 phone.
i have rooted and installed twrp but before i install a custom rom i made a back up of my efs files using ktool. after backing up the files i ran the check.
under sdcard/efs.img found section everything checks out 100%
under sdcard/efs.tar.gz found i get the message /!\nv_data.bin NOT FOUND in back up!!!
in my files/device storage the files have been created
could any tell me if the back up i have created will work. dont want to flash a rom until i am sure
the phone works fine and the emei number appears as it should in the phones status menu
hope someone can help
thanks
If in doubt then make other backups, philz recovery custom backup, copy and paste efs contents etc.
You can't have too many backups of your efs, store them on your pc and cloud storage.
IMEI
More than one backup of EFS is best .Save one on your PC .
thanks for the advice guys.

Backup rom

I want to ask you about one thing. It is possible to backup current whole rom with installed apps and settings and make it zip file that it is possible to future restore by flashing rom like a custom rom in TWRP?
My phone: Lenovo k3 note (rooted)
I greet from Poland – Europe,
Sylwek
yep you can do all of the above, it will backup even the files (photos, videos...) on your device storage and give you a flashable zip that you can restore after and you will get EVRYTHING back to your phone, it's called a NANDROID Backup ... you can do it with a custom recovery such as TWRP indeed
