No, it won't work just like that
You need to change your tablets kernel for it to work.
GLTOOLS became uncompatible from versions 1.05 I think onwards. The problem with those older versions is that they can't download the plugins you have to install anymore because they changed the server where it downloads it from.
HOW to change the kernel, tough, is beyond my knowledge and I'd really like someone to explain.
Just to be sure, you install it, then check all options, but when it reboots it goes to the same plug-in-installing screen, right?

Is it possible to install GLT from STOCK recovery without tripping KNOX counter? Any chance to run it on STOCK rooted SM-P605 without triggering this samsh**?

GL Tools updated to v1.28. It supports KNOX-featured devices now. And IT'S WORKING on our Note. :laugh:
I tried installing the xda version on stock rooted, but after the device reboots GLtools does not show any texture packages and says "no internet connection available"
Same happens here. Looks like you must buy it I the play store.
Download 1.29 version from aptoide. It works

Download a rom and extract it yourself.
If you download a custom rom is the easiest way.
You can find it in the directory: system/app.

You can find the new version of S Note version 3.00xx in Samsung Apps and you will see "Supported Device: Galaxy Note 2", I am trying to install it but currently can't. If anyone could figure out the way to install this, it would be awesome.

there are some problems found by note 2 user when trying this new interface, just see below
Strong points:
- Nice interface
- Add new selection mode function to edit graphic objects and texts
Weak points:
- Missing productivity tools to draw shape match, formula match
- New snote can not open old snote file (.spd file format instead of .snb), if open old file format it will crash

I had to push the new version over the current SNote3.apk, it works just fine except it doesn't have idealsketch.

Oh I thought u meant it was working. Then it's most likely not working still. There hasn't been a ux base rom working with call audio yet due to not having a tmobile kernel for it! But sooner or later we'll get a working one.
