I have Canvas and Galaxy Y.as u all know MMx doesnt support most of the good earphone which has mic so i decided to go for JBL earphones(Without Mic). I found 2 model J22 and J33 and now i am confused , Can any 1 tell me what is the difference between this 2 model & which 1 will be better.
Any other suggestion is also Welcome.i know skullcandy is also good but i couldn't find without mic. My budget is max 2.5k. and i will only buy in-ear headphones not over the head.

Does anyone know a 2.5mm to 3.5mm converter like this:
http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=104589
that allows me to use a normal headphone with o2 atom exec..
also it needs to be stereo not mono and of the highest quality..
or is there another way
Any ideas? The headphones supplied was **** and i need a good one like the ipod ones or a similar one but it wont work because the phone has a 2.5mm port not a 3.5mm port.
if you intend to use other headsets in your ATOM you need 3.5mm to 2.5mm Jack.
If you intend to use O2 ATOM headset to other devices then u need 2.5mm to 3.5mm Jack
I have both.. bought it for SGD$5 each.

Then, does the adaptor support handfree? i.e. can we answer the phone with a compatible earphone with mic?

Never tried buddy.. with a mic one..
You can get a simple 3.5-2.5 adapter for 5-6.50 in SG SLS. No handsfree support tho, the ones with handsfree are 15. I haven't got wired handsfree to work right; can hear party, party can't hear me through mic on the set. I had better results through a BT *mono* headset.
(I use a BT stereo headset now, but comparatively, the music skips regularly unlike on the mono, and while folks can hear me through the mic, incoming call volume is still to goddamn low -.-)
The Atom's default headset is suprisingly good. That being said, they look... ugly. <_<

Using a BT headset is ok but we can't listen to radio...
Hi all did u know older Xperia are one standard of jack plug, when newer Xperia ranges are the new iPhone standard of jack plug , ones called ompt and the ctia, I believe, jvc is the only place I've found a fix for this problem, there gummy plus range comes with a adapter so older Xperia devices can use the newer standard, great now I can use my pricey beats by dre with Mic, basically the difference between the two standards is apple swapped gnd and Mic on there devices, I just like to make people aware as I bought 18 sets on mic'd headphones and only 2 have worked, now with the adaptor that comes with jvc gummy plus I can use any of then via the adaptor, great! Shame I spend about 100 bucks lol

But now at least I got about 15 spare sets of headphones with Mic , and I can use my beats by dre set ; plus this cheap fx set that sound same as beats , and also my Xperia z and sp ones work , but the reversed adaptor is hard to find only place was pc company who are building me one , just in case I need one in the furture lol

That is a waste having many headsets, I have Sony DJ Headphones, Skull Candy earphones & Sony earphones all of which work because they do not have a inbuilt microphone so there is no port problem. The stock headset from Sony Ericsson, IMO, is very good-but then again I am not the type of person who spends much money on headsets e.g. Beats by Dre.
i got a westone earphone , but the sound was terrible for note 3 even on my s3 , notice the jack looks different from a stock ear piece , do i need a good adaptor to convert it ? btw the length is the same , just stock headphones have a third groove
The extra grove allows the other headphones to use a MIC more than likely. Only need two for straight headphones. Splits up L and R audio.

But the sound is flat compare to a stock ear phones, it can't be that bad?

Sound problem
Hello.
Are you using the headphones delivered with the phone, or other headphones? Take care that Chinese phones use a different configuration of the 3.5mm jack. It's different than the one used on Iphone, Samsung and Htc. It's similar to that one used by Nokia. Electrically the microphone and the ground of speakers are reversed.
Despite of this problem, may you tell me how is the sound on the phone speaker (normal esr speaker, not the loudspeaker), on Kingelon N9000? Is it metallic, or is it normal (loud and clear), like on branded (not Chinese) phones. I'm asking this, as I experienced low quality speakers on a lot of Chinese phones, of much lower quality than on branded phones, like Samsung etc.. I intend to purchase such a phone and I can't find this info from users.
May you give me your email address, in order to share your experience with this phone? Thanks a lot!
Andrei

Dear andrei,
I use original headphone because other doesn't fir correctly. Original minijack has 17mm length, but standard one has 15 mm, therefore I need to use original one.
That is Kingelon STAR G9000 dual sim
Just got a Redmi Note 4 (Global Edition) and when I use headphones it does not go very loud. is this a bug or have I got a faulty unit?
Even my nokia bh 503 doesn't give much loudness but wired earphones works like charm
