recently i had to flash ftf on my phone after being stuck in a bootloop. as a result i have lost RGB values for optimal white balance for xperia z2. i found those values over internet and they made my screen look a LOT better.
i believe they were like
red - 5
green - 34
blue - 77
but i can't really find exact values. those even those above are way better than default. for me...
Anyone here know anything about good RGB values to correct white balance on xperia z2?

hi,
my S3 and my colleagues's S3, when we receive sms or missed calls,
the LEDs does not have consistency,
mine is white but there are some background color like slightly orange and yellow but my colleagues is jus pure white
then for orange, mine always shows like a circle with 3 quadrants of different colors but my colleagues only show 1 color,
is my set fault or this is because of the way the phone displays color but if it is so, then both phones would be showing same instead of distinct difference, right ?
can anyone share their experience ?

You can download lightflow from the marker to test the LED. With that app you can test a variety of colours.
Afaik there is a revision 1 and revision 2 of the i9300 (international) around with revision-2 only having slight design changes to prevent some issues.
The phone has several distinct LED's which, when mixed together, display the color of your choice. However several colors which are not native (meaning which are not directly displayed by a single LED) mixing together doesn't really give the intended result but a confusing "mess" of colors.
My best guess is that, if your friend's S3 really only shows a single color-point, he got a revision where they either moved the LED's very close together or replaced them by multi-color LED's.

Good evening
Im having two problems with my Sony Xperia P.
The 1st one is that when i turn on the light on the Max on my phone: the colour change..the YELLOW colour becomes greenish and every image which has a yellow colour changes into a greenish and the images becomes very ugly, and i can't use full light cuz it just becomes ugly,,once i change the light to automatic or low light , then everything returns to normal
The 2nd problem is that when i trun on my internet using the sim card ( not wireless ) the signal disappears and i have to restart my phone several times and try to call any number in order to get my phone signal back !
i'm using the stock Rom ( 2.3.7 -- 6.0.B.3.184) I haven't unlocked my phone and i just bought it a week ago !
please Help me..if this is happening with all the P devises then i'll be ok with it..if not, then i'll go back to the dealership and fix it
thanx for ur time and concern
take care
The display issue is due to that high brightness. Our device supports very high brightness so 50 % is more than enough. You can try autobrightness in power saving mode. Though I hope that it is solved in the coming ICS update.
About network issues I think you should repair once using PC companion. This firmware build has got no such issues.
In my CM7 settings there is a render effect option, inside that i have options like - night mode(3700k), terminal green, blue, amber, salmon, fuscia, calibrated (N1), calibrated(N1) low red, calibrated(N1) cool, and red.
Some friend told me using this option I can save my battery.
I want to confirm this fact and also want to know if this is true than which color is more efficient?
and also does it effect my screen or phone in harmful way??
Atrix 4G, CM7 based TopSmarts 1.3 rom, Faux123 1ghz kernel.
If you turn the brightness down, the screen will use less power, which saves battery. Changing the color of the screen does not use less power.
I use the green/red tint when I need to use my phone in dark places so I am not noticed.

I use Screen Filter for that, though there are other apps which will accomplish the same thing.

Actually, I just read that for AMOLED screens, black colors will save power usage, then red 2nd. So, if you have a predominantly red & black color scheme, you can stretch your battery a bit further.

Hey guys, need help. My Xperia 1 III suffers from a greenish tint and discoloration at lower brightness. I have already sent the phone to the after sales service twice and each time the complaints did not acknowledge that the defect did not occur. I have a friend from Sony that I contacted, so I'm waiting for an answer. Any tips I could try for now? Thank you.

Unfortunately, there is this issue for many Sony Xperia 1 III, 5 III and 10 III. Ihave too (Xperia 1 III). I didn't find any solution for this. Check this...

I noticed this too when I had 120mhz switched on. Having greyish wallpapers highlights the issue. I had a similar issue with my OnePlus 8 Pro too and have read about it on other devices too. I think it's a characteristic OLED Displays and low illumination levels at certain levels ( lights off in complete darkness highlights the issue the most)
Sometimes a software updates to fix the issue.
On my Xperia , changing the wallpaper and resetting the adaptive light level seems to mitigate the issue.
I haven't noticed it since.
