Nice review. Been thinking of getting into the reviewing scene myself. What camera setup you got there?
Really good review! nice work
I like this game, I had it on ipod touch, but it's better on the touchpad, it's really dizzying!

I couldn't imagine playing this game on a smaller screen.
Looking forward to more reviews....
Bought this game and only played a little bit, kind of addicted to RobotekHD at the moment! Although hate the idea of having to purchase within the game, rather buy it out so will go back to Asphalt 6....
Anyway worth the £2.99 its currently at.
I bought the game but after launching it, it claims that the Touchpad is not supported by this game.
How did you made it working with ? I'm under CM7 Alpha 2...

Awesome, before I lay down $5 on this, has anyone got it to work on our tablet? If so how's does it run?
Controller support?
To anyone that has this, does it support controllers?
I'd definitely like to be able to play this with a 360 or ps3 controller.
Working good on my tab!
Running well on Tasks 8.0 ROM..only played for a couple mins on way out of the house.....built in controls are shockingly ok...tried with sixaxis control but was only able to get the analog movement going, not sure what buttons to map at this point but it looks like it might work.

Those on screen controllers are gonna get some time to get used to since its all on screen. I tried with a bluetooth keyboard and the arrows were controlling the guy moving around and was able to control the car no problem. Also enter key was to get in and out of the car. Everything else seemed to not work at all on the keyboard.
It works fine on my tab but no sound :-( The intro has sound but as soon as I get to the menu the sound stops :-(
---------- Post added at 02:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:31 PM ----------
Downloaded data again and sound works now
I am trying to download it from the market but whenever I clicked the buy button it gives me this error. Anyone else running in this error?
Same thing, I can't find it in the store, when I go to a link it either says incompatible or not available but I have a 10.1 and it blatantly says that device is compatible.
I have the same issue. It says not compatible with my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and ATT Galaxy S II. This game should have no problem running on either.
Yet it says it will run on my old HTC Evo, which I'm sure would run like ass since that phone is slow as crap. Even when I first got it when it came out I thought it was slow and sluggish.
Bah.
I'm not much of a geologist, but it looks great!
something's wrong, it should be working on these devices
I bought this yesterday.. I played it.. Installed a new ROM today went to download it and it says it's incompatible now even though it says "purchased"... Now have to restore my backup ROM, Titanium GTA 3 and then restore my new ROM and hope it works..
Edit: ROM Restore.. Web based market shows it's purchased. When I go to Tegra zone and click "Get It" it opens a market page with "Open/Manage" and when I click "Manage" it says the requested item could not be found.
There is also now three versions for sale on the Android Market via the web..
Why do I have a feeling I just lost $5.00
Double Edit: PHew.. The Titanium backup worked fine when restored.. I can still play..
BTW Proof positive Tab 10.1 plays this fine.
my tab is completely non modified why am i having this issue?
One of the main reason I bought the device is for gaming. It seems a lot of the gameloft games ive purchased previously is not compatible with this device. When do you think we're cooking to see gameloft supports this device? I really wanna try modern combat 3 on this thing specially

Approximately in 2012....or never. They didn't support the original TF so they may very well continue the trend.

I'd hold off as development for the tegra 3 is still sorta new...tegra 2 really has just come into its own recently.
If you look at the Tegra zone games...there are a few coming out soon that look pretty decent...and a few out now that are nice if your willing to pay.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately though I don't want to buy the games again. At least not from gameloft site like I used to. I've been buying them from the market so I can download them to any of my device. Just sad to see prime not being compatible.
Honestly, and I'll probably be burned for this, if gaming was your focus behind purchasing a tablet, you should have gone with an Ipad 2. They have an unmatched collection of games, a lot of which are pretty damn top notch.
MC3 works fine with my prime...
Before ordering my prime, I had a Tegra 2 (a500) tablet, and I had purchased a couple of Gameloft titles that worked fine. I hope these can cary over to the prime! (If Tegra 2 Gameloft titles work, then Tegra 3 should too?) just a thought!

Don't tease and please share how you did it. I can't root so changing build prop is not an option for me.

Why couldn't you just take the apk from your old device and transfer it over to the prime? It should install fine.
thats the first thing i did. Its not that it wont install but it'll say not compatible with my device. And these are games that were made for Acer a500 that works on my Acer a100. I changed my build prop to make market think I have an a500. Both Tegra 2 devices.
gameloft would be smart to make games work with the prime and tegra 3, stupid company move if they dont in my opinion
I heard a while back that Gameloft somehow ties the install to the device, and that the same APK cannot be installed more than once ? Maybe it does some sort of authentication against their server? Try getting them to give you a clean download of the title you payed for and see if that works on the prime.

I just tried the same thing with Asphault6 HD. it doesn't show up in marketplace on the prime. I have it on my Atrix4g. I emailed myself the apk to the prime. it installed and everything but once I launched the game, it said it wasn't compatible with my device and to request a refund..SMH
its only a matter of time. they supported tegra2, my atrix, so they should eventually update to support tegra3 or Prime. hopefully as I find gameloft games usually the best. aside from epic and EA. is Rage HD out for Android? love that game on my Ipad.

Maybe. However this are games I bought from the market ie. MC3, asphalt6, backstab. And some free ones like Brothers in Arms, Lets golf 3. So trying to get a new download from market wont work since they dont show up in the first place in my Prime.

I agree but they still dont 100% support tegra 2 devices. For example the original Transformer prime only has certain games available. And they are old ones like spiderman, OG dungeon hunter, NOVA 1st one. And I think 1 more.
Then on my acer a100 its also limited thats why I had to change the build.prop to make market think I have an a500. Again these are both tegra 2 devices and most tablets currently run tegra2 only. So I dont see them supporting tegra 3. Just device specific.
When I downloaded it, it said "device is not campatible yet" did this say to anyone else, I have modern combat 2 black Pegasus which works really good and is awesome but the third one has a ton more features online
I just checked in the market via my laptop, https://market.android.com/details?id=com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftM3HM

There is a MOd for this that makes it work in the Development section(I'm taking no credit for this)
So, has anyone tried this game? Any lag, if so you try overclock and chainfire? Want to buy, but don't want to chuck that much money into a game that doesn't work good.

I have the game, and it runs smoothly for me and with no lag. I didn't try any settings with chanfire yet because it is smooth and doesn't need it.

does anyone experience any lag when playing multiplayer online? Sometimes it has to reset the whole game when i play online which is really frustrating sometimes!!

how you succeed to intall data files?
it say that it can download data files because my device is incompatible.
How you download the game data is here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1435617
After getting the game for free off Samsung apps (they had that special promotion, not sure if it still there) I can say it runs pretty smooth. However, there are some times it hangs just for a half sec, does anyone else experience this small lag? I have a feeling it is because the one I got for free from Samsung was for the galaxy sII, maybe there are different versions for high end devices? Am I correct in assuming everyone else got it by faking their device as a galaxy S? I might have to buy the galaxy s version if I want to get rid of it, although it is perfectly playable, just minor hangups.

Hey guys!
Can anyone confirm if the Battlefield 4 commander app works on a rooted 7" Kindle Fire HDX?
Would really like to know, as I wouldn't purchase it otherwise
Really no one who can answer this question? Doesn't take much to download the app and try it out (if you have BF4 on any platform)
Why would you base your whole tablet buying decision on a game that will be old news in 1 year?
It doesn't work. I tried it. Needs some google stuff which is missing since this has been customised by Amazon.
Yes its working with a rooted HDX 7, i tested it.
You can use this .apk + data:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47736747
Can also confirm for you the BF4 Commander Mode app works. I know you posted a couple weeks ago but it's as DarkRusher posted, follow the link and go to the latest pages, newest APK and Data for Commander Mode app will be there and you're good to go!
Using a rooted 7" HDX but shouldn't need root at all. Was playing the app on the 1.1 version and worked perfectly on the HDX as well before an update for the app was pushed. It's honestly an addicting app and runs smooth on the device!
Edit: Also don't forget you'll have to download the Battlelog app from another Android device, back it up into an APK and sideload it to the HDX, at leas that's what I did off my non rooted HTC ONE X. The Commander Mode app requires Battlelog app.

This tablet will also be old news in one year. Almost all apps run on this tablet once you get framework and services working.
That's irrelevant. You wouldnt let your tablet dictate what console or PC games you buy?
A kindle will last a lot longer than a yearly franchised game.

Actually battlefield still has quite a following so you can get 3 or so years from an online game. And certainly you want all your devices to compliment each other so yes if my budget were tight I would look for which tablet would window my Xbox or PlayStation or vice versa. In my case though a tablet is lucky to go 6 months much less a year, but most people in my area exchange tablets at least every year as well as phone upgrades every year as well.
Old news playing a 3 year old game surely. Anyway this is going offtopic. The question has been answered.
Yes, it's working on mine no issues.
