I was wondering if I can put cyanogenmod onto my phone with twrp installed on it, if I can what one can I put on it as I have seen loads of different ones on here, I am new to the android world and rooted my phone a few weeks ago, ive only istalled a few things and was wondering if anyone can help me progress to the next level, ive hunted this place high and low and cant find the answers I am looking for but I know there out there somewhere, anyway with t.w.r.p. installed can I install cyanogenmod along side it or will that just be pointless, a silly question maybe but I honestly don't know, also would like to know about clockwork mod, my phone is a acer liquid v370, if anyone knows if there is a guide out there can you point me in the right direction thanks, if someone can either tell me were to find the answers or tell me it would be much appreciated, I did try to put clockwork mod onto my phone but the one I was trying to put on said I couldn't install it to my phone and told me to install twrp, but ive seen a few places saying you can have them both on the phone, but something is telling me that all three do exactly the same thing and it would be pointless having 2 of them together, but as I said I am new to android and probably totally wrong, all I need to know is whats the best for my device or just the best one and easiest to use, and wod they clash if they were 2 on my device at the same time or even pointless, sorry if ive been repeating myself here but I am trying to explain the best way what I am trying to accomplish, if anyone can help or show me were to get the help I need I will be greatful thanks again for your time.

Hi Guys,
I know I´ll get it pretty bad after reading what happened to me, but I´ll endure what I deserve if someone could help me
I installed voodoo lagfix over Team Whiskey´s Onyx R4.2 and at first it seemed to work pretty fine. Some minor things I wasn´t too happy with so I decided to get rid of it.
Now comes the bad part: I should have read how to do this much more careful. What I misunderstood was that I should just delete the folder "Voodoo" in my SD which I did. I then tried to do a factory reset and know I am in the following situation: whenever I try to reboot my phone I get the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 screen right after the Samsung Vibrant screen, the robots girl´s voice tells me "Factory reset mode detected" and that´s it. I´m stuck. Even if I take out the battery I get the very same thing (Samsung Vibrant, Samsung Galaxy S i9000 screens, girl´s voice and that´s it!).
Honest question: is there anyone in this forum who could help me get my phone back to work or did I screw up? (I mean more than I did, anyway)
I know I should have been much more careful, it´s just that with all the flashing before nothing ever went wrong, guess I just got careless.
Any help here would greatly be appreciated.

Another voodoo doll gets a pin I'm not sure how to help as I've never used voodoo but odin might help can you get into download mode

Hi, thank you sooo much.
Thanks to another comment of you in another thread I managed to get the phone into download mode (took the battery out and used only the volume buttons while replacing the battery, thanks so much for that, too!).
I was thinking of a way to get rid of voodoo and the phone back to factory firmware&kernel and start over with flashing A LOT MORE CAREFULL...hopefully I´ll get to the point. anyhow
Hmh I downloaded a folder that contained everything I should need to get my phone back to stock.
Seems like ODIN is not able to work on my phone, though, because after I inserted the right PIT and PDA and started the process ODIN seems to have stopped working...I really have no clue what to do now.
Yeah of you know how to use odin and have the files and drivers you'll be set then make sure you get rid of voodoo I hear that its not worth the trouble cause theres no app in they're face so sometimes people forget they even have it and then try to flash a new room and the voodoo turns there phones too poo poo a lot of roms come with ryanza lag fix that's what I use everytime I've had no problems with it ever

Yeah, it is definitely not worth the trouble.
ODIN doesn´t seem to work at all, I´ll give it another try now. If it doesn´t work at all, do you know of any way to get the phone back to "out-of-the-box" state?
Do you have odin set up correctly if so try to remove sim and external sd card it can confuse the system sometimes tel me the set up for odin that you have it might be something wrong with that end

You might want to flash eugenes froyo that didn't brick then go back to stock for some reason or another
That seems to help people that forgot to disable voodoo

You wouldn´t happen to have a link for that, do you?
I got idea from another thread and tried looking for Eugenes Wonder File, the only thing I could find was Eugene saying support dropped for XDA...is there any way I could a hand on that file? google doesn´t seem to help. Sorry to bother you with that, man, I was foolish and desperately need that phone (even in out of the box state) cause I´m waiting for a very important phone call (I know, should have done that crap AFTER getting the call!)
Its no trouble but I think I saw the site name in the forum somewhere yesterday for eugenes web site I'm not sure where if I find it I'll let you know you'll be able to get the file from there I'll look for it you should do the same go into the development section and go through some of those eugene threads you might be able to find a link to his site in there probably closer to the ends of the threads cause he just moved like this week or the end of last week

I just found it, don´t bother yourself with it anymore. Thank you very, very much for your help and patience.
I´ll try to get my phone back to work.
If i´m able to, is there any lagfix you would recommend? I love Onyx r4.2 ROM but would like to use a lagfix.
Ryanza all the way I think its already on the onyx rom if not you can find it on this site as its not on the market anymore I'm not sure why but yeah your welcome and good luck

Hi Arckhaist, I've the same problem on my Galaxy S. Have you solved???
EDIT: I solved with Odin. I flashed a new stock JPU.
Hi there. I posted in another thread my question but i dont think its in the right section so sorry for reposting it here.
I was trying to delete a useless app with Titanium Backup (TWlauncher) but it turns out this was not the useless app i was looking for. Now i cant boot my phone. I'm just stuck at the Samsung Galaxy SII loading screen. I only got the phone yesterday and rooted it thanks to your guides on here. I've not got any restore options when i boot the phone into download mode. I have tried to just flash with a new ROM but i dont know what i'm doing wrong. Tried to look around the forums for old threads that might help but i couldnt find one. If anyone could link me to the needed information i would be very grateful. I'm a total n00b when it comes to android phones but have a little experience hacking various other items (Wii, iPhone and a little bit of Xbox)
Thanks in advance for any help and sorry if this isnt the right place to ask but i'm pretty worried! Only took the phone out the box yesterday, rooted it fine and stupidly deleted something i thought was useless.
Sorry to hear that. Have you attempted a manual factory reset? If you have then I would suggest you contact your mobile phone service provider or the company themselves and ask them what they suggest. If nothing has worked and you have tried all of this then your device is most likely bricked. Hope this helps!
After a lot of worry and many google searches I found out that i have got a backup, i just needed to hold the up volume instead of the down volume to get to the restore screen. I was just being a n00b basically. Sorry for wasting your time but maybe this might help someone else at some point (someone as stupid as me)
Hi I am needing quite a bit of help and information, I know that the help and information I need is quite a fair bit to me, but to a lot of you might actually just be basic stuff, I must confess i am new to the rooting world, and android, But i have been Researching rooting my phone for a few months now and finally plucked up the courage to do it at the weekend, anyway first things first, i have a Acer liquid e2 v370 with jelly bean 4.2.2, kernel version 3.4.5, I rooted my phone with Impactor through my pc and, when it was downloading it stopped and a message appeared saying payloader stopped or stopped working, so i thought it never worked but i then tried it on my tablet and it rooted it, so i downloaded root checker onto my phone and it said i had root access which i was over the moon with, Did payloader stop because that's how it goes onto the phone and stopped because the download was finished? ok now this might seem a daft question, but i will ask anyway, ok ive done loads of research but come across all different answers and different preferred ways, so now i am rooted what do i do? what apps are a must have? do i have the correct things installed? the apps i have are " super su " Titanium Back up " Busy Box " T-W-R-P " Root uninstaller " Root Checker " and that's it, in one of the apps i cant remember what one exactly but it asked to turn off boot loader, but i read that rooting your phone does that, am i on the right path? i will also tell you the main reasons i wanted root access, i wanted to uninstall preloaded apps that i don't want or use i did try this with the root uninstaller but failed to delete the apps as there still on my phone, i also wanted my phone to run a bit quicker and longer battery life change themes, and make my music louderand get some game cheats and that's about it other than having the options to do what i wish with the phone, i am hoping to get a custom rom but i haven't backed anything up yet as all i have done is browsed through the apps and not changed anything, anyway i will apologise in advance if i have placed this thread in the wrong place, i did think it was more suitable to genral than any other place, i also would like to thank you in advance as this is a big ask, but now i have root i just need a point in the right direction to get me started, thanks again for your time barry
help needed
There must be one of you geniuses out there that can help me get started with my newly rooted phone ,"acer liquid e 2 v370" I managed to root it with the help of alot of posts on this forum, but now its rooted I dont know what to do, I have looked every were and cant find what I am looking for, I would highly appreciate any help what so ever, it does not need to be all the things at once but if anyone has any information on what I do now with the things ive downloaded onto my phone, and like I mean just downloaded straight from google play, I havent flashed anything or backed anything up, i would greatly appreciate it, I would even like some help on how to back up my phone, so I can at least mess around with it my self and see what I can do, so any help from anyone will be much appreciated thanks again guys bazzaboy1:good:
Hello there,
After a few days of trying and testing different things i think everything comes to its end, now i have my phone rooted and completly working android oreo 8.0 rooted with magisk. So as i said because im not close to modules and programing tools i got it rooted and im about to leave the phone aside. But before that can you help me with something,
I need somehow to get a botton and when i press it to write down lets say "", and when i press again to have another like "", the only thing that comes to my mind is opening a Note app on background and just copy paste everytime when i need it but the thing is that i will need it a few times an hour so is there anyone with solution.
Ive looked in the forum but this thing is not so wide used i guess and couldnt find anything helpful.
Best regreats, Zaggi.
Okay, so I apologize in advance if this cannot be posted here. My reason for doing so, is because I need some help with a Zenwatch 2 by Asus and the thread pertaining to this device seems to be a ghosttown. So if you need, please move this where it should go, but not without offering a word of advice or two first
So obviously I have a zenwatch 2, and I was tinkering with it earlier, and somehow got it stuck in CVC fastboot or something like that. I was able to get TWRP on it (Thank god, im much more optomistic now) but I am still having trouble getting an OS back on it. At first I wasnt even able to read the internal storage from my computer, or even begin to sideload anything, but I went into the TWRP settings and repaired the partitions to EXT4 or something of that sort. Now I am able to sideload, as well as access the storage from my PC, but I have had no success in flashing a working OS.
Im usually pretty familiar with android, rooting and unlocking, but these watches seem to be a bit different.
If anyone has anything that would help, please feel free!
The exact model of watch I have is WREN W1502Q .... I think.
Thanks in advance!
UPDATE:
I got it to boot!! Now I am stuck with a hang on that screen with all the swirly dots (the four separate animations that is right before boot)
So we're making progress, but I dont know if it is just gonna take a long time to boot, or if it is hanging! Hopefully we can get over this last hump. Thanks!
UPDATE 2:
Back up and running!
Praise the Lord!
