I am looking to have some people test this ROM before it gets officially posted This is an MJE ROM for those not wanting to go to KK. My initial goal is to be in between CleanROM and and CleanROM ultralite. Please PM me if you will help on checking it out.

Hello everyone. As the title states, I'm looking to update a bit and I'm not really sure how. I'm not S-off yet, just on the old ICS leak with CleanRom 4.3. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
I wound guess run the new leak ruu then there is a new firmware patch in the firmware and radio thread in the dev section. That should do it. Someone correct me if I'm wrong

Stick to what you got for now. Only changes were an updated kernel & hboot, which from my very short testing didn't play out too too well with the current roms. So just waiting for a rebase or OTA+rebase.
The main reason I was wondering is because I'm having battery life/heat issues with the old leak and was hoping this would improve it a bit.
Nils posted a kernel zip on his business ics thread. The kernel is more or less what was updated ib the latest leak. The radio in the last leak is the same as the latest. This should help you out with your heat issues.
Hi there people.
I won a rooted NOTE 2 which I got when the note was just released.
It is SCH-I605 and it has Android 4.1.1 with a Jelly Ben's build 7 bybeanstown106
I'm currently looking for a better ROM and simple instructions to install it.
I want the camera to work, of course, and I think it's time to get kit kat, but I"m not sure if such rom is available.
Plrase help me ...
Thanks

I run Slimkat which is a very stable, awesome Kitkat ROM. Been on it since early December. I was on Beans for months and it was great, but wanted to go Kitkat. Slimkat is very stable and it flies. Check out the thread in the Android Development thread. Download and installation instructions are clear.
All the roms are good, members are expected to try them all and make their own determinations as to what is best.
As XDA is not a support site, members are encouraged to read and review all material in the development sections to learn about which rom suits them.

Hey,
So I usually dont have many questions, but I have not updated my DNA in a very long time Currently I am running
Android Version
4.1.1
Sense Version
Sense 4+
Rom Version
ViperDna 1.3.5
I am running TWRP 2.6.0.0 and I think I am running DSB kernel but really cant remember because its been so long, phone is unlocked and S-ON.
I am looking to update to 3.5.0 which looks to be the latest one available, I have a hard time telling because there is no order in the threads regarding the updates that have been released,
I seen it says that you need TWRP BETA .6 which I have downloaded, and I have already downloaded 3.5.0 Rom.
So now my question is, what kernel do I need in order to install these on my device without issue, and in what order do I need to update them?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
I still have my unlock token bin saved, maybe it would be faster and easier to re lock the phone, update to stock OTA kitkat and then install 3.5.0? Looks like a custom kernel isn't necessary in the install instructions?
Let me know, thanks again in advance
*Bump*
Folks,
I have been pleased with Viper XL (2.0) on my ATT HTC One X Plus for a long time. It seems to have been abandoned, so now I want to a new ROM with the latest Jelly Bean. Here's the advice I am asking. Please point me to any non-International custom ROM that you understand that the developer intends to continue to update. Like my subject line says, it doesn't have to be the greatest. I don't want to start a "whose the best argument," but I would like to install an active project that might continue to be debugged. I want a solid, stable build, as flashing ROMs is a big, scary deal to me. My preference is to keep TWRP for recovery.
Elegancia is on my list, but the impression I get is that it may not get another update. I understand that Jelly Bean 4.2 is the latest official update; I am using 4.1. Many thanks for any advice.

Does anyone know if there are any lollipop roms out yet and if so where I can find them. Also, I'm looking for a good lollipop rom where everything works. If there lollipop roms what version of recovery of twrp do I use? I'm currently on 2.8.2. Thanks
As for the second question, 2.8.2 will work fine. There is a new version, 2.8.3 ,but it's not really necessary.
Where to find Lollipop ROMs? Assuming you're on Sprint, look in the development and original development sub-forums here in the Sprint G3 forum. Read the threads and see what works and what doesn't. At the moment, I think all the AOSP Lollipop ROMs have some bugs. Some of them more than others, and some of the bugs might not matter much to you.
Development on the G3 hasn't been going on for very long. It'll be a little bit longer before all the issues are worked out.
