i woke up a few days to see my phone turned out(i left it with autoclicker on a game), when i try to get it back on it gets stuck on samsung logo, i have no efs backup, until so far i have managed to do everything but network stuff, plus the imei changed to 0049..... i would try to flash 4.0.4 ice cream bur i can't find it anywere (OPT version), till so far i have:
Flashed 4.1.2 ofw and 4.3.ofw rom(odin)
Flashing some tar md5 (odin)
Kies(device wont iniciate)
Iriza patch
SGS3 NV GEN and QPST (after dialing the number given i only get 2 options, not that third needed)
Efs folder is empty.
WIth iriza patch i made a backup, of the phone 'NOW', can´t i edit that with my imei and s/n and put it back?
Please help i tried everything, been saving for this phone a year and half, wouldn't like to loose it. :crying:
Take it to a repair centre, there is nothing you can do without an efs backup.
And what sould i do before? Triangle away, oficial room instal, factory reset.....?

i wanted to unlock my new i9305 , i used polarbox thinking t wuld have unlock solution by now. I selected i9300 realised theres was no unlock for i9305, thought whilst im here ill back up efs , efs backed up successfully.
loaded z3x couldnt get z3x to recognise phone to start with , clicked unlock on the off chance and low and behold it unlocked it .
rebooted stuck at samsung logo ?
ive reinstalled latest stock , same prob , rooted using odin , rooted using recovery but still stuck at samsung logo .
i cant rewrite efs file in polar as i need to enable usb debugging , unless there is a way to do this .
I have read that i can remake the efs folder with imei folder etc but polarbox makes .efs file and i dont know how to extract.
Any help or guidance really appreciated

I have a 16 gb galaxy s3 from metro pcs and flashed it to cynogenmod 11 snapshot m3, but did not liked it so i decided to go back to stock unfortunatley my back ups were in my internal phone's memory and were deleted. So i factory reset the phone and was stuck on cynogenmod for a while, till i found a stock rom fkr metro pcs galaxy s3 and i started the process. I went in recovery mode with CMW and wipe the phone complete e.g(factory reset, dalvik cache, system cache,). I then tied to to go into recovery mode and the phone shows up with a black screen saying "update went wrong connect phone to kies". I tried kies and nothimg cause it keeps on saying my serial number is wrong, so i called samsung and asked for my serial number.They asked for my IMEI i gave it to them and they said that was my serial number, point is Kies didnt work.So i tried Odin, tried to flash a metro pcs stock from shabbypenguin.com and i get and error saying NAND write operation failed. Idont know what to do i took the phone to a repair guy and even he couldnt fix it. I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!
NOTE: The phone won't turn on and wont boot into recovery mode either,ONLY thing that works is download mode.
IS MY PHONE PERMANTELY BRICKED??????

So, i got this problem on my Galaxy S3 Neo(GT-I9301I) after installing a stock rom with Odin.However, it did't happen right away it happened two days later. I tried every guide and method i could find to fix this issue but it just wouldn't work. After all that i believe that my efs folder got messed up and the worse is that i didn't create a backup, but the good thing is that my S3 still has it's IMEI. Is there anything i can do?
hello i have recently purchaseg Samsung Galaxy s4 ,I9500 refurbished from china
it came with android 4.4.2 afer several atempt to change rom i get all the time no imei and no baseband version but i was always able to recover from TWRP now for some reason even after recovering all partitions even the efs partition i cant hav signal bar and the imei is unknown ,also it doen not recognise sim card

I think the broblem is with the modem somehow it was corrupt and it is not located in efs folder
tell me please where i can find odem for 4.4.2 that works i hav tried several modems but none flashes with odin

i have tryed flashing modem but odin is unable to flash modem and sboot
it flashes system ,recovery
the baseband is known only imei displays null/null
also i hav noticed my phon gets warm and drains batery when it is on sleep
it drains 3% evry 15 min when i don't use the phone

my galaxy note 2 (was running stock rom, latest SW) suddenly got bricked after battery reached 0%. When turned on was stuck on SAMSUNG logo then after some time being stuck on the logo the android guy poped up with some quick recovery menu (nothing helped - clearing cache, restoring factory settings).
Kies and reloading SW didnt help. I managed to bring it to life by installing recovery called TWRP using ODIN.
Unfortunately the IMEI is now 0049..... which is some generic one. Resulting unability to use the network.
How to fix this IMEI issue and get my original one back ?
Any idea or do I have to take it to service center where they have the service box ?
If I need to provide more data please ask.
