Hi all, yesterday I updated my songs info with gracenote (inside walkman) but I saw that almost all of the infos and album images are wrong. So I tried to cancel all the folders inside android/data but I only deleted the pictures, not the wrong infos. So I deleted walkman with root uninstaller and I tried to install it again but now it force closes when I run it..tried multiple versions but nothing...everytime i open it it says "walkman has stopped"...i tried to put the apk inside system/app but nothing..what can I do..? Thanks in advantage..

I would like to know if it was possible to install the application's message cm10 on my stock rom, but did not replace the existing
Inviato dal mio GT-I9300 con Tapatalk 2
No, you can only have 1 messaging app in /system/app (ROM default). They will not work properly if you have 2.
But for example I have tried to install go sms. And it doesn't replace stock sms app. Are there any method to install sms cm10 stock app like a normal app?

When you install go SMS, it installs as a user app in /data/app
You can only have 1 default messaging app in /system/app
You used to be able to rename the CM/AOSP messaging app to be the same as the Touchwiz version one (SecMMS.apk) in 4.0.4, but functionality started breaking in 4.1.x
You can try, but you may need to find a mod for this first.

It is always impossible to install as a normal app. It is a /system/app. It is not designed to be "installed". It's just supposed to be there by default.

Try to flash .587 and flash extended stock kernel. If the problem still exist after flashing extended stock kernel, go to the recovery mode and wipe battery stats.

The firmware does not matter. The android version matters only.

And u have to tell us wat u wanna do with ur phone. Flash custom roms or kernels or just mods. Just go to the android development and find the rom or kernel or mod for urself. Do not ask for the best.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
Flash cf-autoroot for your version via odin. I advise not to use custom roms or kernels as they are slower than stock. I advise you wait until you understand root, android versions and your phone before proceeding to clockwork recovery or xposed.

U right sorry for the poor information I wanna to have my stock firmware and install Boeffla kernel with a custom recovery, and most important I wanna reset the counter
Inviato dal mio GT-I9300 utilizzando Tapatalk
There is a dedicated thread for each topic to help new people, rather than ask people to write it all out for you.
You can't have a zero counter with a custom recovery or kernel.

There's also iroot for pc
If that didn't work, then you will have to wait for some custom recovery for your phone to be able to flash SuperSU using it.
Can you give me a link from were i download it? Thx

Sorry i couldn't help you further, there is a guide about how to create TWRP custom recovery for any device, but it requires some knowledge of Linux commands and programming, it might help you or if you have a friend who knows Linux programming, so he can create one for you, here is the guide:
