Asphalt 8 won't work on any KK rom I use. I can play it on CM 10.1 and 10.2 but not on CM 11, Resuresction Remix with android 4.4.2 so this is not a hardware problem but a software. What should I do ?

Hello to community,
It is very sad that Dell is not supporting their devices for upgrade and performance improvement, so I decided to install cyanogenmod on my venue 7, also tried to find build for the same on cyanogenmod page but its not available and wanted to build my own.
So my question is Dell is providing kernel source but that is for KitKat version only, would it be useful to build for other versions too like cyanogenmod 11 12 onwards?
Hi there, imploymath my device was Dell Venue 7 3740LTE running Android 4.4.4. I also searched and searched for CyanogenMod 12 for our device, but no one has built CyanogenMod for this device yet...... ??
Hello,
I have an Archos 50 Helium 4g (running MIUI 7 v5.11.27 founded on ArchosLounge.net, but I have also an unnoficial CM 11 founded on ArchosLounge.net and a stock rom Android 4.3).
I want to port both CM 12.1 and MIUI 8. The Moto G 4g LTE (the 2nd generation) have the same specs (same CPU, same GPU, same RAM, same screen resolution) and CM 12.1 and MIUI 8 are available on this device.
I read a lot of guides and it's written "you cannot port an Android version higher than yours".
I dont know what do to and how can I port them (I am a newbie in ROM development/porting and I really want to do it).
Can anyone help me ? It will be awesome, thanks.
I don't know if I posted in the good section
If you have an 8 GB model and have come late to the party only to find all the guests gone, I have CM 10.2.1 and CM 11 ROM files and the appropriate GApps zips. Other needed files should be available in the installation threads for these ROMS:
CM 10: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=51377882&postcount=163
CM 11: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=63932363#post63932363
The CM 10.2.1 is the final version in that series. The "unofficial" CM 11 ROM is a rework to close up security issues (stagefright, etc.) and may represent a "final" form of CM 11 for Acclaim (from @chrmhoffmann). These ROMs are the most recent ones that will run OK on the 8 GB model with GApps.
CM 10.2.1

GApps: https://www.mediafire.com/?dpbi8qiajbwlso1
CM 11
ROM (unofficial): https://www.mediafire.com/?gq1y21uz11lr1c0
For this ROM I recommend a pico GApps from OpenGapps. No point in loading up the system.

Are there any CyanogenMod roms for the Kindle Fire HD 7 (3rd Gen)? I would prefer 12.1 if there are any.
The only official CM for the HD 6 / HD 7 is 11.0. Here is the link along with instructions for installation: https://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-hd/orig-development/rom-cm-11-kindle-hd6-t3270138
Personally, unless you really dislike the Fire OS UI, I would stick with it. CM 11 is not 100 % functional, and assuming you are running Fire OS 5.x.x you are on Android 5 Lollipop core. CM 11 is on Android 4 KitKat core so it's also a step backwards.
There may be an unofficial CM 12 for the HD 6 / HD 7 but I haven't been able to find one. Also, Cyanogenmod shutting their site down doesn't help matters any. If you really want CM 12+, you could always try to compile from source and make a build specific for your device, though such a process is definitely not for beginners. Check Youtube for videos on porting custom roms if you want to go that route. Good luck.
Hi im wondering if it's possible to build android 9 for a device that shipped with android 10 and has no support for android 9. I'm using a Google Pixel 4, running an Android 10 rom that I compiled from aosp. It's fully rooted, unlocked, twrp, custom kernel, custom rom. I'm new to building android but I've successfully built roms from lineage 17 and 18 for my pixel 4, as well as android 10 and 11 for my pixel 4. Im curious if it's possible to build android 9 for the device. And if so, how? The aosp website doesn't give much information on the process.
