im following this tutorial,
Unrooting for 2.3.3/2.3.4/2.3.5/2.3.6/2.3.7 (Thanks to ingbrzy):
1) Download attached file called unroot.zip and copy it to your sdcard
2) Turn off your phone
3) Press POWER+HOME BUTTON
4) Select update from sdcard, select the file unroot.zip
5) After the update completed - reboot
6) Now you have unrooted S5830
im stuck in part 4 since i choose that and it says theres nothing, says no such file or directory. so i selected the option "install zip from sd card"> "choose zip form sd file" and there i choose unroot.zip and says install complete. then i reboot. but still i can use supermanager and cmw so its not applying. and even when i boot the phone in recovery mode again it apperas as cmw recovery. i need to unroot the phone so i can take it back to store since the wifi is getting an error and the screen goes black when im using it.
Unrooting does not remove CWM recovery .
To remove CWM you need to flash any firmware file via ODIN
Herpderp Adreno + Tegra.

CWM is not an application to get su access..Download RootChecker from market and see if you are unrooted..If you want to remove CWM,like emoboiix3 said,Flash an odin package

I tried by trying a root required app like root explorer
PLEASE HIT THE THANKS BUTTON!!!
Intro:
Even though there a lot of articles on how to root most of them are not detailed and still many of you out there who have still not rooted your phone this guide will guide you.
I've gone through lots of articles on how to install CWM recovery , How to Root Canvas HD but almost all of them are not noob friendly and you just don't understand them. As a new user i myself took days to get acclimatized to rooting.........
This is a noob friendly guide to root and install CWM recovery both on 4.1 and 4.2 versions.Everyone can go through this!
Sources & Thanks.
1) Thanks to XDA i've taken a lot of resources from XDA.
2) Thanks to developer of motochopper.
3) Thanks to developer of mobile uncle tools.
4) Thanks to micromax for a beautiful device.
5) Taken help from google.
First what is rooting?
Rooting is a process allowing users of Smartphone’s, tablets, and other devices running the Android operating system to attain privileged control (known as “root access”) within Android’s subsystem. Basically rooting is performed to overcome the limitation that wireless service providers and hardware manufacture of android phone put on some devices. If your android mobile is rooted that means you are the SUPER USER on your android cell phone and you get ability to customize or replace system applications. This little word rooting provide you power to run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions and perform another operation which are inaccessible to a normal android.
I think this should be more than enough and you would have already spent your time on this!! Hope so
Now what is CWM recovery?
All of the Android devices consign with a recovery assuage that is a basic partition on the device's internal memory and also can be booted into it. The stock recovery of almost all of the Android devices provide a few basic yet useful options that allow us to factory reset our device, clearly it is cache partitioning, and bring back its operating system using an official ROM in zip format, but that is the only thing you can do with it. This is the reason where a custom recovery becomes handy.
A custom Android recovery initially replaces all the stock recovery with the one that lets you to do all that you can with the stock recovery, plus a overabundance of options that give us a lot more control on the device. With a custom recovery, you can install official and unofficial ROMs as well as other updates also including hacks, themes, kernels.Using zip files, wipe not just user data but every standard partition on our device, ascend the storage card for USB mass storage access without leaving recovery, partition your SD card, wipe dalvik cache and battery status, fix the permissions, perform, manage and restore backups, and so on.
This is where CWM recovery comes in our aid!!
There is also another very popular recovery named TWRP which many developers still recommend but still a major drawback is that many ROM developers still prefer CWM so i say go with CWM!
Guide: How to Root + CWM Recovery, NOOB Friendly.( Method 1)
Please Hit The Thanks Button!
Note: Follow any One of the following Methods to root.
Method 1:
Prerequisites:
1) Motochopper tool:
Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/t0o4dpvigwyb09l/motochopper+BY+djrbliss+on+droidrzr.com.zip
2) CWM recovery image: (Note two versions are available the first one is a touch based version while the second one is not)
Link: 1)http://d-h.st/OGP
2)http://d-h.st/3xk
3) Mobile uncle tools:
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....toolbox&hl=en
4) Have your CHD charged fully before following this procedure.
5) CHD of course.
6) USB cable.
Rooting procedure :
1) Connect your mobile with PC with the given cable.
2) Install appropriate drivers (i.e either 32 bit or 64 bit)(provided with the phone)
3) Enable USB debugging and connect as MTP(Media storage)
4) Open motochopper click the file run.bat .
5) Hit 1 for normal mode.
6) Now just follow the one screen tips and after the process is finished , your phone will reboot and voila it is rooted!!!
Method 2:
In this method we're going to root the device using Framaroot.
Requirements:
1. Canvas HD of course
2. Framaroot application
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276
Go there and download the latest version of the application.
3. CWM recovery image: (Note two versions are available the first one is a touch based version while the second one is not)
Link: 1)http://d-h.st/OGP
2)http://d-h.st/3xk
4. MobileUncle MTK Tools:
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobileuncle.toolbox&hl=en
How to root:
1. Install the Framaroot application( If you don't know how to install it then follow this.Go to the location where you've placed the app click it then then click install that's it).
2. Open it. Now Select the option "Install SuperSU" and hit Boromir.
3. Reboot your Device
Voila is is rooted!!!
Install CWM Recovery:
1. Install mobile uncle tools, remember it require root access to work properly.
2. Place the CWM image in the root of your sd card. Now what is Root , root layer is the top most layer. That is just open the SD card and place it there itself do not place it inside a folder or sub folder only then mobile uncle tool can recognize it.
3.Open Mobile uncle tools and select the option Recovery update.
Now you'll see the file you placed in your sd card ,now click it and then click ok. Now it will ask "boot into recovery mode" click yes and now you are in CWM recovery!
Note: If you have connected to internet while doing this you may get loads of other options after clicking recovery update don't worry just click the one you placed in sd card. verify the name twice.
Method 3:
Prerequisites:
To download both go to http://androidsu.com/superuser/ scroll down a bit and you'll see ARM devices (2.0 – 4.1) in that version 3.1.3 two packages Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip and this su-bin-3.1.1-arm-signed.zip.
1) SU Package
2) SU BIN
How to Root:
1. Copy both the files to the root of your SD card. Now what is Root , root layer is the top most layer. That is just open the SD card and place it there itself do not place it inside a folder or sub folder.
2. Now again restart the phone to recovery mode by pressing Power Key + Volume UP + Volume Down Key.
3. You will see an Android icon with warning/error on the screen, press the power button.
4. You will see the recovery mode menus in the screen. Now this is tricky, to select any option from the screen you have to press two touch buttons simultaneously on your phone’s bottom, left one which is for the menu and right one which is for going to the previous screen. You have to keep pressing it for 5-6 seconds.
5. From the recovery screen select “wipe data/factory reset” and then “wipe cache partition”
6. Once it’s done, select “apply update from sd card” option and choose the file “Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip” from the SD card.
7. Repeat the above step and choose the file “su-bin-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip”.
Once you flash both the files select the option “reboot system now” from the recovery screen.
Note: If you have connected to internet while doing this you may get loads of other options after clicking recovery update don't worry just click the one you placed in sd card. verify the name twice

Guide: How to Root + CWM Recovery, NOOB Friendly.( Method 1)
Verification:
Now you'll most probably see an app super user which almost confirms you've successfully rooted
but still if you have doubt download some app like root checker(free in playstore) to confirm whether you've successfully rooted or not.
How to unroot and replace stock recovery:
Requirements:
1) Rooted CHD.
2) Mobile uncle tools:
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....toolbox&hl=en
3) Stock recovery image:
Link: http://dl.xda-developers.com/attach...9fc330101/530787d3/2/0/2/9/0/6/1/recovery.img
Replacing stock recovery:
1. Place the stock recovery image in the root of SD Card and rename it to recovery.img .
2. Now install Mobile uncle tools.
3. Now open MobileUncle and tap on Recovery Update, it will search the file by itself, you just have to select the file and confirm.
4. It will then ask whether you want to boot into recovery, if you want to confirm you can tap on yes otherwise its not required.
You've now successfully replaced stock recovery.
UNROOTING:
1.Open SuperSU and go to settings, scroll down to Full Unroot and tap on it. The process would be finished within 1 or 2 secs now you have a unrooted device.
Yes ready to be taken to customer care!!!!!!
Now your warranty is intact you can go to service center for any help from them.
Please Hit the Thanks Button.

Hey lets see how it goes... thanx for replying....
i have 2 questions for you ,
1) do i need back up my device i mean the stock rom or something? if yes then how ?
2) about the unrooting just in case if there is a goof up and i unroot it will it work properly ? as mostly micromax phones have a lot of problem and i am old user of micromax android phones so every now and then i have to run to the service center for one reason or the other. So warranty is there , i have read some where there are some clock timer issues on phones which enables the service center guys to differentiate the rooted phone ? is it true? kindly guide.
i m still going with the process you listed and will let you know how it goes for me.
Thanks man.....
And
what will happen after i click on recovery update....
Will it make a backup of current rom?
Please reply......

Welcome,
For your first question,
At this stage you will not be able to take the backup of the entire ROM since as you don't have CWM. But in case if you're already rooted then download titanium backup pro and use the backup all feature and in case if you've not rooted then follow this process. Backup all your contacts to your gmail account using the sync option. Then backup messages and call log if you want through some backup app like snap pea. Then download app uninstaller from playstore a free app and backup all the apks ( second or third option don't remember exactly) then backup this file to your PC ( the file name is android it will have the folder data inside it and sometimes another folder obb copy both).
SO by now you have a backup.
Now coming to your second question,
Yes the unrooting will work without any problem You just have to go to the settings and click full unroot and its over! You're worried too much i think no just do full unroot and they wont be able to identify it if you still have doubt then after unrooting you can factory reset your phone and then there is almost no chance the customer care guys find it out.

No after you click on recovery update it will just flash the new recovery and in this case CWM recovery it will not make any backup or so.
But since you're rooted( if i remember properly) then use titanium backup pro to backup whatever you need. But at thi moment you cant backup the entire rom as you've still not flashed CWM!
I hope you've started reading this article after reading my main article if no then read it first and then come here.

Congrats ,
I don't understand your first question if you're asking if taking backup will be helpful then definitely yes it will be, because in case you mess up while installing a ROM then you can flash the backup and revive your phone. But at the time of unrooting..... don't understand this part.If you mean while unrooting if it will be helpful it has nothing to do with rooting or unrooting but having a backup is always safe and good.
I would not recommend that way, if you want to use your external sd card as the main one that is if you have a sd card whose memory is more than 4 gig and if you want to use it as your default internal sd. For example you have a 32 gig card and if you want your internal sd to be 32 gig then just swap the cards simple transferring .... is not recommended as in future you may experience some issues.
Just work on your spellings!

Welcome! Congrats

#Root : Use Framaroot 1.6.0 app for rooting.
Download it from xda-forum,open it and click on
"Boromir" then reboot your phone. Now your w70
is rooted successfully and you'll get Superuser
app in your app drawer.
#Install Busybox : Download and open then give
superuser permission, then click on Install. Keep
your internet connection on. You'll see Busybox
is installed on your Symphony W70.
#Install TWRP and take a backup of your stock
ROM :
Download the .img file i provided and put it in your phone
storage. Just phone storage, not in folder.
Download Mobile Uncle MTK Tool from
playstore.open it and give root permission. Now
click on Recovery Update and later, click on
recovery.img. Now a promt will appear,click Yes.
You'll be asked Reboot To Recovery? Click OK.
Now your w70 will reboot in TWRP recovery, here
click on backup and mark boot, recovery and
cache then slide to backup. It'll backup your
entire system,data,cache,boot.img and recovery.
Now after backup completed, reboot your system.
Go to file manager and open your memory card.
You'll see a backup folder is created named
TWRP,don't delete it. So,if your w70 is bricked
any time, simply pull out battery then put it
back, press and hold both power button+volume
up button. Your TWRP menu will be out! Simply
click on restore and your backup will be restored.
Now you can reboot your phone!
#Change Storage Partition : You know that
w70's phone storage is only 2 gb. That's why
you can't play HD games with size of above 2GB
like GTA San Andreas,Gangstar Vegas,NOVA 3
etc. And to play games in w70,the game data
must be kept in phone storage. Don't worry, with
this trick you can turn your entire memory card
into your phone storage.
©Things needed:
1.TWRP backup[strongly recommended]
2.Es File Manager
3.A small file called vold.fstab i provided
4.Some idea of system partition
Now download the file i provided and Put it
somewhere. Now open Es File Manager,go to
tools>root explorer and give root permission.
Then again click on root explorer ans click on
Mount R/W. Mark both dot as R/W and save it.
Now copy the extracted vold.fstab and paste it
in device/system/etc. A promt will appear asking
to overwrite, click yes. Now reboot your phone
and voila!....Your external memory card is
showing as your phone memory!
Thank You!

There are lot of Guides Available for Rooting Grand 2. But I'm sharing this for the people who don't have a pc and want their phone rooted safe.
I have tried this several times, and I'm sure it is safe. Eventhough there is a chance of soft brick.
Note: This Guide is only for Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 SM-G7102 which is running on Kitkat 4.4.2 stock Rom. You can try on other devices on your own risk.

DOWNLOADS
For Method - 1
Kingroot
SuperSu-Me
For Method - 2
Flashify
Rashr (optional)
SuperSu v2.52 Beta
Recoveries
CWM by Mukulsoni
TWRP by Aapav
Philz Touch by Ali.filth
*--------------------------*
Method - 1
1. Download Kingroot App and Root your phone with it.
(Kingroot is not a safe app and it is highly vulnerable, Hackers can easily hack your phone when using Kingroot as superuser app. Eventhough with kingroot you can easily root your phone without pc)
Download Kingroot
Don't know how to root with Kingroot?
*Download and install the KingRoot app as you would do with any normal app.
"Launch the KingRoot app from the app drawer.
*A 'Try to Root' button will appear at the bottom of the screen. Just tap this button and let the rooting process complete.
*After the device is rooted, a success message will appear on the screen.
Done!

Click to collapse
2. Reboot (important)
3. Download 'Supersu-me' App.
See this thread to know more
or Buy Pro Version
Buy or Google it [emoji14] it's against xda rules providing free download link for a premium app.
note: SuperSu-me Please App Developed by XDA Devolopers. They decided as a team to take on the challenge and come out with this script that will completely remove all of the KingRoot applications and put SuperSU on our device.
all credits goes to them.
4. Install SuperSu-Me.. open it, it will ask for root permission, Grant it.
5. Then press Blue Button
It will take a while. The app will automatically remove Kingroot file from our phone and replace Kingroot with supersu.
6. Reboot
Enjoy having root privileges
Note: if the Kingroot app still remains after all these steps, uninstall it manually.
In some cases, you may lose root privileges after using supersume. In such cases, open SuperSu(not Supersu-me) settings> full unroot. Then Repeat all the steps again.
After doing all these steps, you can use flashify app to flash custom Recoveries and other stuffs. But Read some guides before using these apps
Flashify : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify
Rashr (An alternate app for flashing Recoveries and zip files as same as flashify) :-
Play store link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools
Note : These apps could brick your device if you use it wrong. so careful.
- RECOVERIES -
CWM
TWRP
Philz Touch
I personally recommend CWM for beginners.
*-------------------------------*
Method - 2
This method is more complicated
Note - I haven't tried this step on Grand 2 kitkat. But tried on several other devices. every time it worked. it should work on grand 2 stock firmware too.
1. Download Kingroot App and Root your phone with it.
2. Download Flashify from playstore
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify
3. Download a recovery (links are mentioned above)
*I recommend twrp for this method.
4. Download Supersu 2.52 flashable zip
link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133
5. Open flashify, it will ask for root permission. Grant it.
We can flash recovery with flashify using 2 methods. they are
(i) flashing Zip file method
(ii)flashing img file method
only try 2nd method if 1st fails
first we try (i) flashing Zip file method
'Boot Image, Recovery Image and Zip File' are the three main options you find in flashify.
Select Zip file option > choose a file > find Recovery.zip(recovery flashable zip file ) from the folder you downloaded and select it > Yup! (ofcourse Yup! is an option lol) > Copy First > Reboot.
if you have done all steps properly, it will automatically reboot to recovery and flash zip file which will replace the stock recovery.
some times Zip file method fails, in such case we can try (ii)flashing img file method.
first of all go to file manager and find the recovery zip file you downloaded, extract it. inside the extracted folder, you will find a file named recovery.img
open flashify > Recovery Image > Choose a file (browse and find recovery.img file you extracted and then select it) > Normal Android Way > Yup! > Reboot
Phone will reboot.
after recovery has flashed using flashify, open flashify again > touch the 3dot menu on the top right corner > select Reboot Recovery. phone will reboot to recovery. from there select Install zip and flash recovery.zip again (because recoveries that flashed through flashify are not at all stable, sometimes it fails to boot manually using power+volumeup key combinations. so you should flash recovery, from recovery using flashable zip file) see some guides how to flash zip file using recovery.
6. Reboot to Recovery
You can boot to recovery using power+volumeup key combinations.
OR
open flashify> 3dot menu > Reboot Recovery
7. Install Zip > BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip (supersu file you have dowloaded first)
it will take a while
Supersu Beta 2.52 version have scripts included to remove Kingroot automatically. Flashing BETA-SuperSU-v2.52.zip will automatically remove Kingroot and replaces with supersu
After flashing finished, reboot the phone and open Supersu. See whether it working properly. if no error message shown, You have rooted your phone successfully.

2. Reboot (important)
3. Download 'Supersu-me' App.
See this thread to know more
or Buy Pro Version
Buy or Google it [emoji14] it's against xda rules providing free download link for a premium app.
note: SuperSu-me Please App Developed by XDA Devolopers. They decided as a team to take on the challenge and come out with this script that will completely remove all of the KingRoot applications and put SuperSU on our device.
all credits goes to them.
4. Install SuperSu-Me.. open it, it will ask for root permission, Grant it.
5. Then press Blue Button
It will take a while. The app will automatically remove Kingroot file from our phone and replace Kingroot with supersu.
6. Reboot
Enjoy having root privileges
Note: if the Kingroot app still remains after all these steps, uninstall it manually.
In some cases, you may lose root privileges after using supersume. In such cases, open SuperSu(not Supersu-me) settings> full unroot. Then Repeat all the steps again.
After doing all these steps, you can use flashify app to flash custom Recoveries and other stuffs. But Read some guides before using these apps
Flashify : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify
Rashr (An alternate app for flashing Recoveries and zip files as same as flashify) :-
Play store link : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.mkrtchyan.recoverytools
Note : These apps could brick your device if you use it wrong. so careful.
- RECOVERIES -
CWM
TWRP
Philz Touch
I personally recommend CWM for beginners.
*-------------------------------*
Method - 2
This method is more complicated
Note - I haven't tried this step on Grand 2 kitkat. But tried on several other devices. every time it worked. it should work on grand 2 stock firmware too.
1. Download Kingroot App and Root your phone with it.
2. Download Flashify from playstore
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify
3. Download a recovery (links are mentioned above)
*I recommend twrp for this method.
4. Download Supersu 2.52 flashable zip
link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133
5. Open flashify, it will ask for root permission. Grant it.
