So I just found a app called android apps theme engine.Im just sharing it.Its pretty cool cause you can change the colors around and if your into themeing its for you.Ill attacth a few screenshots of google play store. Its a module for exposed installer so you need that installed on your tablet.I just found it so im not sure everything you can do.I just wanted to share it.You can go here to find out more.
So it seems like you can only change some apps around but its still pretty cool cause you can change the colors all around.

Having just moved from an iPhone im still learning here so bear with me. It seems as installing custom themes and/or customizing app icons is not as easy as installing winterboard and throwing a theme up. I'm a big buuf/mattahan fan and I've had that theme on my iphone since my 2G. After doing some research it seems that there are a couple of ways to change an app icon. First I could open up the .apk and insert the new icon, then resign the package and put it back on the phone. Second there seems to be an app called metamorph which is similar to winterbord but only works on certain phones.
Am I missing some easier way? I'm willing to spend some time on a package that I could share with others if I knew how.
Thanks

Metamorph does work on the vibrant if you were wondering
Some theme makers also make update.zip's that you can flash from recovery, but most prefer metamorph because its more universal.
also if you use a replacement launcher like ADW launcher which is on the market, then you can download themes from the market and simply choose them from the launchers menu.
In fact I beleive ADW launcher has a buuf theme.
theres also a keyboard app on the market called better keyboard that has a buuf theme (better keyboard is a paid app though)
I noticed that there are 7 colored sony themes in my st15. is there any tool or app available to make these cycle daily so that each day has a different color?
I'm using sony's home screen on the latest fw unrooted.
thanks
is this possible??
maybe possible with some script but no one will ever waste their time on making such scripts.
im looking forward to this idea, its fascinating.
not very helpful reply metalrawk
not sure about themes yet, but the default wallapers are located in /system/etc/customization/content/com/sonyericsson/wallpaperpicker/wallpapers.
there is an app called "wallpaper changer" by j4velin that can automatically cycle wallpapers from a file which i'm about to try out.
If anyone has any suggestions or knowledge regarding the built in theme manager though it would be nice to know if there could be an elegant way of automatically controlling it... i got the idea from an old psp where the theme changed every month or so.
thanks for any ideas,
Is there anything like winterboard for android. It was so simple to use. You could edit themes easily and layer different parts of themes so customizing each and every bit how you liked it..
Launchers are OK. But system uI and notification panel etc are seemingly non themeable...
Surely someone in the android community could develop a simple system of applying themes for each and every aspect of the phone indevidually. You could theme the browsers. Apps like Facebook and litterally whatever... wherever.. whenever..
And instead of changing the rom you just apply and reboot..
Does anyone know of such a thing or any developments to make one??.
I'd really like to make a unique Icon Pack, but downloading the original icons to theme is a pain! As of now, I'm simply going to the app page in google play and saving the icons. Is there a zip with a lot of the original icons (preferably 300x300) already out there? If not, is anyone willing to collect a bunch of the icons from apps they typically use and upload it here? I'd like to cover lots of icons so the more I get the better it will be. And it will be free!
Edit: In case this does become something, here is a folder with all the default icons I currently have saved. Hopefully it will save someone the trouble of finding it all over again.

In the Google Store.
It is a Pay App
At least post a link then. I don't seem to be able to find it.
I would love a black theme too, at least a theme where the settings are also black (like the walkman settings). Can't find it anywhere.. Also tried modifying the stock themes but i'm a complete noob..
I recommend Existenz. You're into some heavy modding here, it's not something a little theme can do.
Not heavy modding, just change the background of the settings menu's. Seems a little bit silly, but I would really like it. Most themes are beautiful but the settings page is just so ugly. On Sony devices, this should just be a jpg or png file change in the theme apk. It won't work because I don't know where to get framework-res
