Wireless tether issues with Theory Roms

I have an issue using the wireless tether app included with monolith theory. When ever the screen turns off, I lose internet connection, but it instantly comes back when the screen is turned back on. I had the same issue with the first theory Rom as well.
Has anybody else experienced this?

I haven't tried the wireless tether, but have you checked in settings under wireless and network - mobile network settings to see if the box that says "enable always on mobile data" is checked? If that box is not checked, the data will turn off when the screen goes off. Hope this helps!

GPS

Does anyone else have this issue: every time I unlock my screen, the GPS indicator on the notification bar flashes for a few seconds then goes away. I can't figure out how to see which app could be using the
GPS.

Facebook? Seems like it checks my location whenever I fire it up.
I kept having that issue, and couldn't really find what it was. Then I gave up and just disabled my GPS altogether and enable it whenever I'm using the navigation, which I do use sometimes, but not that often.
Just look at your logcat....

[Solved][Q] GPS voice stuck on DATA CONNECTION LOST

I was using my GPS today to goto my cousins house, and I noticed every time it comes time for my GPS to announce the next turn, instead of saying something like "turn left" it says "data connection lost". At first I thought I was getting bad service, but then I realized I have full 4g and phone signal and my GPS is fine, its just changing the words to "data connection lost".
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm using Google Navigation fully updated on NRG 8/1 stock Rom with the most recent faux kernel. It only started happening, or rather I only noticed it, after I installed the Google Now Zip in the Amaze development section, so later I'm gonna uninstall and try it again. Any other suggestions?

I had a similar issue where it would give me a street name(I was not in my home state and the name was from home) instead of the turns although it was sending me in the right direction. I uninstalled and reinstalled....problem solved. Good luck.
Live and Die on this day....
Did you uninstall Now or Navigation?

Sorry yeah, I asked because I stated in OP that it started after I installed Google Now.
But you were right. Once I reinstalled Google Navigation it fixed.itself. thanks.

I.had it happen where it was just announcing the same direction over and over, but the map was still sending me the right way. I just deleted the app data, and ask was fine again.

Fingerprint Scanner

All of a sudden my fingerprint scanner has stopped working. I'm on the stock rom with the most recent update. Has anyone else experienced this? And is there a fix for it. I can't change my lock to the pattern or anything else because it keeps asking for my fingerprint.

Check to see if your bootloader is set to locked

I'm not rooted or anything. So I'm not sure if that applies to me.

It should ask you for the password you entered right after logging your fingerprint for the very first time.
Might wanna try the password you set right after the fingerprint data.
If it does not work then go to bootloader and factory reset your phone.:fingers-crossed:
