Allow me to introduce my C Locker here:
<<I created my apps mainly based on "C"onvenience and "C"ustomization. that's what my app's name "C" stands for>>
C Locker 6.2.0v:
-the latest update includes Fingerprint Unlock Security for S5 devices, so i thought that it could be shared here.

Can we secure specific apps with fingerprint or this app is mainly for lockscreen unlock only?

yes, you can set it individually for specific shortcuts for (pro version). try your self for the free version.
in my opinion, be serious! how to put this app on the s5? =))))))))))
more no comment.
Fingerprint sensor doesn't recognize properly in my Lenovo Zuk Z2.
The sensor appears twice.
I can't disable my system security to use it. It's either fingerprint + PIN ..or... fingerprint + PATTERN......... So when C Locker ask my to disable the system security I lose my fingerprint data..

Earlier I use samsung's F480 (with BADA OS, I guess). It has an option of locking any one application for eg. messages.
Is there any such software or anything which will allow me do the same.

Not sure what you mean with your thread title. But you can use titanium back up to freeze programs and not allow them to run.
There is tons of apps in market that allows you to lock apps with password.
My favorite is this one Application Protection.

Hm, I don't think that most users want that. We will see and maybe I add such an option. Btw this is my first Android app, so don't expect fast development...

I don't expect fast development. It must be hard to build an app. Hope you will decide to add this opinion.

Working good, been waiting for something like this :good:
I like that we can even hide the "Hide Apps" app from drawer and still access it via the Xposed modules section. I also like that you can put an app into a folder on the desktop and then hide it, and it stays in the folder! Very cool.

Thank you i was just looking for an app that does this
This is a great idea, thank you!
But a number of apps I have selected to hide are still visible, such as Google Settings.
I know the it clearly states it's for Google's launcher but will this work with others?I use aviate and would love this functionality

requires reboot
requires reboot every time to hide/unhide app..

Technically it can be done for other launchers. But this mod is for GEL only.

Did you try just killing the Google Search App?
new bug fix release v1.0.2
I released a new version which shows the same set of apps as the app drawer of the GEL. This should fix the problem with Google Settings app and others.
Great module
This is an awesome module, great job.
I had this problem, when I hide Google app it hides Google+ also.
oh and hidden apps show again after updating, otherwise all is working fine.
Thanks a lot for making this - I have been waiting for this module since GEL has existed.
The fact that you can hide apps from the drawer but keep any homescreen shortcuts accessible is great - I just have all "computer janitor" stuff like other xposed modules and Hide Apps itself stashed away in a folder now and not cluttering up the app drawer.
Working as described for GEL. Would love an update or a module for Aviate.

Hello devs,
Can anyone port bioprotect from iphone. This app uses the touch id recognition for specific apps.
It would be great to have fingerprint for specific apps rather than using as a lock screen.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Amin

It's impossible to port an app from iPhone. You'll have to wait, till' a dev invents an app which support your wished function.

Isn't Fingerprint security the answer to your question? It's made for locking apps after all.

Bioprotect is Cydia tweak. There three similar apps for Android:
FingerSecurity
Fingerlock (require xposed)
Fingerprint AppLock for Galaxy
First two ones are well written apps
Hi,
My previous smartphone was an op3 and had a very nice feature : open app with fingerprint or pattern. I tried different apps but none I like or do not have any ads, In your opinion, can you do a porting from the op3 to s8 +?

Both have publicity
You really don't need Secure Folder Applock, or any other Applock Apps, for S8.
Just set Fingerprint protection, or any other, and all your Apps are safe. If phone is stolen or lost nobody can use Gmap, Whatsapp, etc.... They will be forced to factory reset your stolen, lost phone and your Google/Samsung account is lost forever, on this phone.
No need to make things complex when they are very easy.
i need to register new finger[print] specifically for app locks so that it doesn't share the system wide registered fingerprints. is it possible to achieve that?
