There are 2 stock KOREAN PORTS for our device the LG optimus G e970, my issue is that people say to use the JB RADIO, when i use it , i don't get any sound on my rom nor have Bluetooth or WIFI or cellular network, then i proceed to use the hybrid radios they work for me, have everything working except WIFI.
anyone that has WIFI working that can tell me what radio you're using so that i may get wifi to work. Thanks in advance

Hello All,
I recently installed a Rom from the international htc one forums and I am encountering the problem where my data is constantly switching between G, 2G, and 4G. I tried installing the t-mobile radio but it still does not fix this issue. Any help to fix this problem would be appreciated, thanks!.

Where did you buy your phone? From HTC directly or at a T-Mo/T-Mo affiliate? When flashing a ROM, make sure it's compatible with the T-Mobile HTC One. I would try flashing one with confirmed support. If you have an M7 directly from HTC, you will NOT be able to receive HSPA+ 42mbs through the 1700 (AWS) band. However, you can still get HSPA+ 21mbs through the 1900 band if you are in a refarmed area.

My Phone is from T mobile. I live in a re-framed area but it seems the radio for the M7 from HTC was put on my phone or that's what I am guessing.

Your phone would be able to receive the signal as long as it supports the band. Perhaps you just have spotty coverage? Try flashing another RAM or stock to see if it switches on you.

I tried flashing a bunch of different roms and stock ones too. None of them worked to fix the problem. My reception isn't the problem as before I installed Android Revolution I had constant 4g everywhere I went with at least 4-5 bars. I also flashed the t mobile radio found on these forums too but that didn't work either.

I'm confused, are you saying you tried a bunch of ROMs and none of them worked well besides ARHD?

I flashed other roms to see if it was just ARHD that was affected by the data problem. Anything I flashed after ARHD would have the same problems

did you get this solved? i am having a similar issue. when i first turn on my phone, i can get 4g/hspa. but it drops after a couple of mins. i dont even get edge. works everytime i reboot the phone or go from airplane mode on to off. i noticed the problem after rooting my tmobile htc one and flashing a ROM.
Is it better just to stick with approved ROM for Tmo? There are not many to go around.
I learn if it is 4g, 3g, wifi, etc it is kernel and just find a Tmo kernel.
Cook ROM and Kernel are different.
I am still learning.

Can anyone help me on this.. without wifi for me this phone is like a regular phone i don't have any data plan on this.
The wifi is only a jellybean problem for the T-Mobile version.
I believe the Wind version doesn't have this problem.

Hey Thanks for the response, but what is that wind version means, is that possible can i update with that version?
The Wind version is the Canadian P769 the kdz is 21B. No, you won't be able to update to the latest T-Mobile version (Via ota). The Canadian version have their own updates. As of right now, there are 3 mobile carriers that have L9 769.
1. Wind (latest kdz 21B jellybean)
2. T-Mobile (latest 20F)
3. MetroPCS (latest 10B jellybean) this version goes by LGMS769

Could you please elaborate how you did that? Did you have the problem before or after recent JB update

I did not just service LG problems began to appear some two months after the upgrade to JB so I sent the phone to warranty. Even though I had unlocked bootloader exchanged mainboard with no problem and now everything works as it should.

How to get this on?
I have cm10, unlocked bootloader and am enjoying the fact that I can use my data for emails for work... but I live in LA, which apparently is rural and has no cell phone reception with this provider (t-mobile).
Is there an app that would do tmobile's wifi calling, like in previous releases of CM? is there a way to extract the files from the original build (ICS/JB) and put them on the CM?
I really need it, and it seems all the other threads on this die.
I don't believe it's possible to side load it without official support as Wi-Fi Calling is kernel related.

Maybe you can just flash back to stock if you're that desperate.

I just installed CyanogenMod on my Samsung Galaxy SIII. Before this it supported WiFi calling. Is there a way to get WiFi calling back now that I'm on Cyanogen?

Wifi calling is a T-mobile feature/app. It is only on T-Mobile branded and modified Android phones such as TouchWiz on the Galaxy S3. You could buy the Nexus 5 straight from T-Mobile and it won't have wifi calling either because the version of android on it is pure, T-Mobile doesn't touch it at all.
So if you want wifi calling, you need to go back to stock rom or find a TouchWiz based rom such as Dandroid. Dandroid is nice because it is a TouchWiz rom but is themed to look like AOSP and even has similar features but keeps the important TouchWiz stuff like wifi calling.

wifi calling is now open source, so now its just time for someone to get a hold of it and work on it for aosp roms.

I have same problem with CM10 and CM11 on E980 ... phone calls coming in and phone calls going out.
When I restore ATT standard rooted install 4.1.2 ... it all works again so not a hardware issue.

Yes, some people (all?) have problems using the LGOG with T-Mobile. I thought I bought a used lemon until I did some poking around here. A hybrid radio solved the problem for me. No link handy, the file name of the one I used is LTEhybrid33-54.zip. Some folks also report success with LTEhybrid33-84.zip, so look for one of those. They are simply flashed through recovery, TWRP in my case. Search for those files, or radio threads and you'll find what you need.
Or switch to a AT&T or another AT&T-based provider, like Straight Talk. I am SIM unlocked, using SImpleMobile (T-Mobile's network), and a hybrid radio. Probably switching to Straight Talk soon, due to AT&T having better coverage at work where I do more streaming and whatnot.

Hey guys, tried searching everywhere for this answer. After every phone call my radio resets each time. Started happening on CM11,then on ART MOD rom, and so on. Even tried flashing Stock LG ATT 4.1. I tried flashing different modems, stock att, hybrid , lte hybrid and so on. Any other ideas?
Thanks!
AT&T doesn't support voice over LTE. Every time you make a call, it switches to H+. Its supposed to switch back to LTE after hanging up. I had issues with it under artmod and the other kitkat stock bases.

Did your modem reset to were it would show no service and no data, then turn back on to H+ then LTE?
Mine will do this ever so often.
No, it was instant.

My question to all the developer here... can anyone help me please? i have LG Optimus G E970 at&t and having serious issue as it is not detecting sim network, everything is running fine except sim network. I was on stock and all things running fine but i installed 4.4 kitkat rom from this link: https://yadi.sk/d/F7yqEV7yaFk8V
then my network not worked, i restore back to stock 4.1.2 but still same problem, no sim detected, i showed it to market developer and they said it is hardware issue while i told them its happened due to installing rom and one have tried on it all things as he was software engineer but no luck, then i gave it to repair shop and they changed its sim jack and insert everything perfectly, but still no network! though one changed in that now when i put sim its not showing but when i eject sim from the jack while phone on the message comes "Phone will restart to use GSM network" and then phone is restarting but same problem , no sim.....!
can anyone tell me exact solution for this? is it really hardware issue or software related? i m stuck up and spent heavy amount on it and still on risk.... i will appreciate your kind cooperation.... thanks in advance..
I have a temperary solution.. hopr it help
I have the same problem and tried everything I could...
If you are in a city area just flash .48 or .54 nexus 4 radio. You get your sim working and can call...
But this will have bad signal strength in Idea 2g network. All the best.
i'm also having the same problem. after every single phone call, the modem resets and the only option is to reboot it. downloaded the latest nightly and did a factory reset and flashed it but it still was re-setting. going to go back to stock.
