Hello, my SGP512 has arrived from Hong Kong, and i would like to flash it with an European firmware, as it only let me choose HK region and similar, and it also has some HK exclusive apps (bloatware)
So, to people here who has an European Xperia Z2 Tablet 32GB WIFI (SGP512), is there someone so kind to post here his customization number?
I live in Spain, so Spanish customization would be ideal, if not UK, Germany, Generic Europe or alike would be fine.
You can see it in the service menu See How Here, or a screenshot of your build.prop would be ideal.
Thank you!

Pretty late reply, but my Swedish SGP512 have customization number 1281-9080, and it is running some Generic Europeean version (IT/ES/PT/DK/FI/NO/SE/GR)
After the release of the xperifirm app I resolved this issue and now I have my tablet with the proper firmware, the same as yours. But thank you anyway, it is always good to see people willing to help

Europe has to wait once again.
I wonder how do they determine when to give out updates... based on the model (or serial) number or based on the current geographical location?
Let's say user is currently somewhere in Europe, but has bought his/her tablet from USA (for example model SGPT111US/S), does he/she get the update already or not?
Nothing new added. Still cannot download games from PS store. Wifi seems to become stronger. Bugs on wifi disconnected policy still unfixed. Screw u sony.

I was offered an update 15 mins. ago. In Turkey.
I downloaded but didn't do the update yet, though. I don't have my charger with me now and didn't want to take the risk..
It sucks that the WiFi thing was not solved though. Was anything fixed at all? (Not that I have too many problems..)

Hello i live in finland and was looking at tablets, the tablet z.
the model with 4g is SGP321 in nordic and then i was looking at german resellers and they all use SGP321DE as the model number?
Also found some with SGPT321 model number, what would the T be?
For example this ebay item
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Sony-Xperia-...b&pid=100005&rk=3&rkt=6&sd=390977750379&rt=nc
is this still the same device ans can i get finnish or swedish as the language in android?

i think it is the same device. Android is multilingual, so you will have many languages. I'm sure Nordic firmwares have all languages needed for you.

Although this true, when I first purchased my Motorola Xoom in Germany it had no options to change language.
I had to download an app to enable the language switch. Weird but true
So a seller is selling a Chinese Mate 10 but he will install an international ROM on it. The question is, is it the IMEI number that tells you the origination of the phone or the software version?
When I bought my Mate 9, it was the C636 Asia version and had no idea at the time it is not covered by Huawei UK support. So is it ok to buy a Chinese Mate 10 with an international ROM, or should I buy it somewhere in Europe where it is released like Spain or Mexico? I would like the phone to be covered by Huawei Support but not sure if they check the IMEI or Firmware version to determine if it is eligible for support/warranty.
Am in the UK.
Thank you!
It will not be covered.

Hmmm I am tempted to get one from China as it would be the 6gb, 128gb version for the same price as the 4gb, 64gb version in Europe. I works just lose the official support. Hmmm!

You will also notice some other minor issues as there is a reason the Chinese devices are separate from others. Things like GPS and the way cell signal are done are very different then in the rest of the world. I would do some research first as there are thousands of horror stories of people buying the China version of devices and things just not being dependable.

O2 UK 9.0.0.108(C432E10R1P16)
Updated to .122 by using Vodafone SIM
O2 advised they signed off the .122 update with Huawei on 26 Oct
Unlocked Telia NO: LYA-L29 9.0.0.108(C432E10R1P16)
Unlocked phone. 3 sim. Cleared cache and triggered update with a Vodafone sim.
EE.GB 9.0.0.108
Still no sign of update.
Can anyone shed any light on why EE seem to be behind other networks on updates? Frustrating.
Thanks in advance.

Popped my att Sim in and it updated to 126. I don't know which region this phone is for though. I'm in California
What's your model number?
---------- Post added at 07:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:28 AM ----------
Ah, e10r1p16 seems to be the non eu version
Oh no, ignore me. What's the bit before the firmware name?
Is putting a Vodafone SIM in the only way to trigger the update? I bought SIM free, but have an EE SIM in it now.

Ok. I got mine from 1und1 with their new LTE netz (O2). Have a corporate vodafone sim in the other slot. No luck eitherways.
Doesn't work with ee Contract phones as there locked to ee.
Tried the other day and did nothing. As the dim doesn't get recognised without an unlock code.
Ee lock phones to ee

Yes mate, just a voda sim, doesn’t have to have credit on either, cost 99p from most discount type shops
Okay thanks. Hoped I might have one laying about, but no. Ordered a free empty one from Voda, but will probably take a few days to come
For France,
I bought my LYA-L29 without Sim.
I did put a ORANGE Sim in the phone.
I have 9.0.0.122 (C432E10R1P16patch02).
Got mine on o2, ordered free sim from Vodafone , it came in two days and as soon as I put it in the update came up
I currently own a 5x and I am thinking of upgrading to an 8x.
Now all the news state that there is a version with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of ram. But for some reason, I can't seem to find a single place that sells the version with 6GB.
Does anyone know where to find information about which variants are available where?
Cheers
Hi,
for Italy and Europe is Honor View 10 Lite (https://en.gizchina.it/2018/10/honor-view-10-official-lite-technical-sheet-price-output/)

Thanks for the reply, interesting to see the phone rebranded for Italy.
But I can buy the Honor 8x in Austria, that's not the issue here. I can't find any information if or why the 6GB Ram version is not available here.
All the tech sites i have checked list the specs with Ram: 4/6GB and then don't say anything of where which one is available
For EU only models 4Gb/64GB for now and yes, it's a 8X branded.
I have bought my from VIP operator JSN-L21, Region C432

But in which countries is the 6GB version available? I'm interested to buy one, but here in Austria I can only find the 4BG one listed.
For now, only Asia markets have 6/128 and above...

Can buy version 6/128 in Poland.

I can buy it too in Serbia but they are made for Asia market
That is an interesting information. Not sure why this is not mentioned anywhere. But still kinda funny, what makes them think that they have a greater need for ram than others?^^
