Samsung galaxy grand duos - 2 sim phone
Initial problems
1. Phone taking too long to start. Have to keep the power button pressed for atleast 30-40 secs
2. Detects sim cards but does not show any network
3. Phone shuts down if not used for sometime
After giving to a mobile repair person
1. The above problems are still there because he couldnt figure it out why it was happening
2. Settings icon not there anymore
3. Phone, Contacts icon not there anymore
I am not really tech savvy.

i have no idea what this loser has done now
the phone is not loading beyond the samsung logo
has it bricked?

then volume up to continue
after this the screen shows Downloading for 10 secs then the phone goes off

Make sure your battery didn't died out. Put the charger in and wait a couple of minutes. What rom did you flash?

You have to send it in. It is probably a hard brick. If you are lucky you get it for free because of guarantee
Hello guys.
Unfortunately my galaxy s3 cannot turn on. My phone started to freeze all the time and I got a message when i turned on that i have to wipe data because my cell phone can become unstable. Below the message it was a key which said "I am feeling lucky" :/ I tried to boot to recovery with the standard way of Home + volume + power and Android logo came on the screen like the way when I updated the firmware. When it stuck after 10 mins I turned it off and now the only thing I can see is a white screen with grey lines. nothing more nothing less.
I cannot do anything via toolkit because it cannot find the mobile...
Please help!!!!!!

if i plug it on the wall the same thing happens. White screen with grey lines (zig zag like a zip). What do you mean if i have a brick? Can I fix it? Thanks for your help

finally i managed to boot to download mode. i open odin to flash the stock firmware but i got a message which says that the galaxy has no pit partition

Wow "i am feelin lucky" hackers are getting a sense of humor...
U shouldve understood immediatly it was a virus...if it cant find something its probably cause the virus flashed stuff on your phone. Try searching the internet for this sort of phone infection youre likely to find the "fix" immediatly..

okay this never happened to me suddenly my S3 kept restarting on galaxy S3 gt i9300 logo and kept restarting a lot also when I enter either recovery mode or download mode it keeps restarting I can't do any thing please if you have a solution please help me.

Are you able to go into recovery.?
If your phone isn't switching on and u desperately wanna get it back on.. Then go to recovery, do wipe data /factory reset... Don't do anything else.... Just restart and see if it works...
If it doesn't download the stock rom for your phone.. Download Odin... Go into download mode by taking of the Bantry reinserting it and pressing vol down+home+power buttons simultaneously... And then install drivers for your phone on my and connect it to comp and flash it... You'll get many guides for Odin flashing method...
If you are rooted and have a custom rom already installed then after wiping data.. Install the rom again which you had installed before or any other rom... And you'll have your phone working....

this problem is occurd with many users in the earlier posts
just search and you will find same problem of another user

I was too lazy to watch the entire video, just skipped through it, but I didn't see you trying the button combo to get to Download Mode? It's Vol Down + Home + Power then Volume Up after the warning screen. There's no way it boots to the splash screen but can't get to Download Mode.

That's crazy odd. I've worked on at least a 100 different kinds of Samsung's and have never seen that. Long story short : No Download Mode = needing a JTAG service unless there is a USB jig specifically for your device, which might or might not work to force it into Download Mode.

also it shows com.sonyericsson.startupflags error on startup and i have to force close it to get rid of it !!
Im no pro but have you tried doing a restore via phone or via PC? and maybe others can help you if you tell us what was the last thing you did before that happen?

iam on stock rom and i reflashed stock againg but nothing changed ,, also i reset my phone but still no change

Just press "power off" and next boot it won't annoyed you anymore.

nothing just i was on custom rom then tried to back to stock with flashtool and flashed the latest unbranded uk ,,and this happend !!!

i press power off nothing gonna happen just i have to press home button or back button ,,then next reboot it appears again
