Xperia P Bricked - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Last day i received an xperia p lt22i from a friend, he says he installed some apps and suddenly the cellphone turned off, then he tried to turn it on but nothing happend.. the cellphone is bricked (i guess), already tried with the vol+/power tricks and nothing happens (not even vibrations), i cant go into flashmode or fastboot mode (nothing happens when i press the buttons)... When i plug the cellphone in usb or wall charger the red led turns on just 1 second or even less.. ¿what can i do?

Charge it for about 15 minutes, unplug it and try to turn it on! Maybe battery is fully discharged..

Cant, my friend just gave me the phone... i was sleeping but just checked and after some 8 hours with rubber band trick nothing happens yet. ¿what now?

I think that when you plug it in, phones try to initialize a "damaged" kernel and charge, but kernel fails at loading and retries (an infinite loop).. So phone is on, but screen and led are off
Pull the battery off, put it back in (to be sure it's turned off) and try to flash an ftf with flashmode

Already did it and still getting red led (it blinks one time by just a second or even less) when i connect to pc or charger (flashtool doesnt detect it)

You can try to open it and disconnect the battery for a few minutes, it did work for some, not always.
Get the service manual before you do if you are going to do it.

This is my last idea: try using another USB port on your computer, 2.0 if possible.. Maybe it detects it.
If that doesn't work, send it to service

- Plug your phone to wall charger for 20 minutes, you see solid RED led
- Unplug and plug your phone to PC with flashtool ready with rubber band in volume - button and wait about 15 - 20 minutes. You can connect your phone into flashmode.
That is I did with my xGO.

x10 bricked and 3 red led

hi to all,my xperia x10 yesterday..dead!!i turn off night before and the next morning when i turn on it i see only three red led
mofo82.... seriously? This has happened to probably every x10 user in the world atleast once.... try the right sub-forum next time.
To solve your problem:
1. Take out the battery.
2. Put in the charger into the phone.
3. Put the battery back into the phone.
4. Wait for a minute and your phone should turn on with a battery image which means that the phone is charging...
dear a2ha,before to open this thread i read a lot every problem and i try your solution but not work....
Try reflash your rom with flashtool.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
I think that you Rom is down .Since battery charging is rom-dependant on the x10 ,you have to reflash it with SEUS/PC Compagnon or Flashtool but fatally the problem will come up again . I am encountering the same problem right now .
IF the rom was working it will have to be able to load the charging mode off-line no need to turn the phone on.
After fully charging the phone you can repair it if that is the case, but red led as far as i know only means no battery.
White led means problems some times.

connect the charger and leave it for an hour or two...!! if it still doesn't charge in offline mode or switch on... then you might have to get your battery tested!!

i installed a custom rom, and it started losing power gradually even when it is connect to the computer. next day
it was like the condition rite now. you can see the red light, but the phone cannot boot, neither enter fastboot.
Try this: Not sure if it will work...
1) Just connect it to usb cable to pc... Leave it for few hrs..
2) Then open Sony PC Companion and try repair...
I Accidentaly bricked my gf acro s . Ended in bootloop and i did this.. It Worked.
try to charge with dock, it helped for me only acro s if it helped, please, hit thanks

Thanks,
I had a nasty problem, not charging with a new rom and not being able to fastboot etc, only a few seconds in recovery.
i searched my whole house for the acro-s dock, and plugged it in, then also plugged the usb on the phone to a pc usb port, don't know if that added some power, but this gave it enough power to instantly boot & charging... So now I can install a decent rom again.

Hello, try flash Kernel+Baseband. You probably lost that Kernel, if blackscreen all way long.
Whitefang
From all the phones I've used this usually happens when the battery is completely busted.
See if you can get your hands on another battery and try?
Good luck!!!
This happened twice for me.
Try leaving your phone in wall charger (not in PCs USB) for at least two hours and try again,
Hope that it will help.
Flash the Kernel and the Baseband

[Q] Xperia U Hard bricked (I think) need help :(

~Help~
I plugged in my phone to the wall charger (because my phones battery was low not dead..) and when i checked whether it had charged after about 30 mins.. My phone DIDN'T respond.. my notification LED was flashing (Which means that my phone wasnt dead.. I pulled out the battery and put it back in right away.. My phone didnt boot up.. :crying: i pulled out my battery a couple more times thinking that it was a lose battery fault or something but no.. A few hours later i tried searching online for help.. I read some posts which had been posted on XDA saying that if your phone is soft Bricked u have to flash a new kernel and etc... i tried to boot my phone into Flashmode, it didnt respond. Not even fastboot mode.. When i connect my phone to a USB cable.. the notification LED gives out a red light and after 10-15 mins it goes off.. Its been almost a week now.. And Yes i've unlocked my Bootloader and rooter my XPERIA U. If you guys know something that i could do to get my phone back up and running again.. please tell me.. thanks in advance
I need to know which kernel were u using... may be kernel doesnt supports offline charging...
I am not sure whether its a hard brick... coz phones just dont brick themselves
Okay u can do some crazy things..
Try charging the phone via a wall charger... keep it for atleast an hour...
If it doesnt works...
Try wid a usb charger... connected to a laptop or so...
After this pull off the battery... keep it out for 10seconds or so..
Insert battery
Dont try to swtich on ..
Try connecting in fastboot mode ....

I was using Unofficial_StockJB_XU_V6 :good:
I tried charging via a wall charger for about 7 hours now :silly:
i'll try to charge with a USB charger connected to my pc.. Fingers crossed.. BTW
How long should i charge it i mean.. Do i have to wait for a sign?
(Like, the red charging light from the notificaton LED)
(the Red LED just turns on when i plug in the Wall/ USB charger and goes off after 10-15 mins)
or would the phone turn on by itself?

Remove the battery and leave it that way for an hour and then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds (without the battery)
and then insert the battery and try to enter the flashmode and report you might get it if it is not hardbrick.
prepare the stock rom in flashtool before you try to enter the flashmode in your phone....:good:
