i nominate this thread for the most random question asked on XDA
Hello
I really need some support from the smart people over here.
I've a galaxy s3 9300 with omega rom on it.
Here's the problem.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...mJlLmJlbGdhY29tLm1vYmlsZS50dmV2ZXJ5d2hlcmUiXQ..
The app is called tv overal. I really like the app and I use it a lot. But now with the latest update the have implanted a sort of root detection. And now i can't see live tv anymore. . I've read about a topic here on xda with google videos. They made a special apk for it. Can someone please do something like that for this app? I really like to use it , but i want to keep root.
Thanks already

There is an app that allows you to deactivate root for a certain time if I remember well, whereas can't remember the name of it at the moment.

Hello droidmannie,
Is this a modified/recompiled version? Do you know what kind of root-check is used?
Thx!

Hey,
member gohigher123 also asked me the exact link, but I can't find it anymore through the search or in my browser history. I think the post might have been deleted. I'll check later today/tomorrow when I have more time

Can someone confirm this adapted version still works with a rooted phone ? I need at least to be able to record programs in the TV guide, as I use this a lot. This is the only thing preventing me from rooting my phone (SGS 4)

Hello
I'm still using the app now. It works on my galaxy s4 but you can't load the tv guide. Watching tv works. You can record a program if you are watching the program and you push record now.

Hello
I've tested it out on different versions. It's always the same problem. You can see tv but you can't go to the tv guide. It's loading and than it says application has stoped. What i do now is using an older version. Version 2.6.1. With this version you can see the tv guide and record programs on your decoder.
With the newest version the xprivacy is not working. You still have the rooting message. I think you have something in the tv guide when you open it , that it also checks root. I really hope that someone can find a good solution for this problem.

Xposed Installer with module Rootcloak works also. First you have to add the TV overal application in the rootcloak list.
Tsested on SGS4 with Omega Rom.

Hello All,
I've heard reports that some rooted users are unable to download my application (Google Play stating that their device isn't compatible)
Can someone with a NON-rooted tablet go to the play store and see if they can install the Busybox application done by me?
You can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox
Does it state that it is incompatible?
I have installed the app, but says that my device is not supported.
I have not root
Can you take a screenshot of the message that you get?

Hi David,
Thanks I got the screenshot. Can you install this one? It should provide information at the end of the message which will tell me the information I need in order to get this working for the Nexus 9.
I've resolved the issue.
Thanks David.

How i can install gbwhatsapp latest version on Samsung note3 android5 although whatsapp official works normally .
App not installed
I have this problem too.
I have GBWhatsApp installed, but now that I wanna update, it says "Suspected Voice Phishing, app reported as voice phishing app" and doesn't allow me install the app.
I'm guessing this is due to some recent security updates on Android 13, and I don't know how to bypass this.
Help please, and thanks.
