This post have to be
Great work for update this roms.
Actually only Omni will be updated (i'll have to find some time to write changelog). ThinkingBridge is final, because of ROMs creator, and Mahdi... i think i'll update it for a month...
BTW - FFII is one of the worst parts of the saga (and VIII maybe), but i only played (oh - finished) - first nine games...
I tried to finish FFX twice or triple times, but didn't have time to do it. But FFXII is the one i want to finish badly (it's waiting on hdd of my PS2).
OK, for a good start - OMNI updated with alternative download from google drive...
NEXT to do: unify all ROM's post look
And Carbon update (separate thread).

Could you add themes feature on omni?
@up
Probably yes, but...
1. There will be no omni update in the next month.
2. Theme engine implementation is quite complicated project and potentially could affect stability of the Rom

You can add this feature with an xposed module
Any bug on mahdi?
hover is not working afaik
Can you fix
@up
probably...
Thank I have a bug with lock screen. It has no wallpaper in order to fix this I have to set one with theme chooser and then clear it after every boot
@judas1977 would you update omni ?
@up
I think not (according to the poll results)

Q&A
Q&A Thread maintained by Wechy77
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1965674
[Q] I have low free RAM
[A] If you read it from AOKP recent RAM bar, it counts everything include used caches (cached background process & cached recent apps),
but in Settings>Apps>Running, it exclude caches and consider caches as a free RAM. Free RAM counting method in Settings>Apps>Running is the one that mostly used.
JB cached up to 20 recent apps in order to reload it faster from the background, so it's normal to have low free ram in 512MB device, and it's good that the system utilize almost the RAM that we have than just let it stay unused, as long it's not lagging the phone than it's OK.
Avoid install some apps in the system partition, gapps already use much spaces.
[Q] Can't see media in gallery or apollo
[A] Make sure you don't have corrupted files in SDcard, best way to check is to copy all your SDcard data to PC.
[Q] Phone soft reboot while playing video
[A] Disable HW overlay in Settings>>Developer Options. It's a known issue
[Q] I want only 1 row of toggles/power widget, not both, how to disable one of them?
[A] To disable cm's power widget, you know how. To disable AOKP toggles, ROM Control>Toggles>Enabled toggles>de-select everything
[Q] How to turn on Nav Ring feature in AOKP ROM Control?
[A] You need to install gapps, Google Now to be specific, because it's a default Nav Ring

Yes you can. This one is good enough as a base, since sony won't give us jb, unless they change their mind.
Sent from my Xperia Ray using xda app-developers app
So. Intalled this alpha rom.
First reviews:
1) No problems while installing. Somewhat buggy recovery, but it works fully well.
2) Boots very fast for "cold boot". It took about 10 seconds at all.
3) It is very, very smooth. As google predicted.
4) GSm and wi-fi does not work. But bluetooth with A2DP works well...
5) Camera is buggy, but taking photoes well, but you can't see what u are looking at... Video recording is not working at all.
6) Torch is not working.
7) Processor. Kernel supports up to 1.6 GHz overclocking with standart number of governors. kernel is v.2.6.32.9
2 topicstarter - good work. i finally saw a JB on my device! I'm very glad! Don't stop and continue developing.
2 jjdoctor - yes. it's fully bootable, but has lots of "not working" issues
Wait for the doc. In action...
Go JJ Go...

TIPS
Animation scale
The animation scale is setted to 2x by default, which makes it smooth but a bit slow for some users.
If you prefer your phone to look faster decrease it to 1,5x or 1x.
(Your apps will take the same time to open. But, it will give you that feeling of speed).
Find it in Developer options tab.
Fully disable navbar
Add this line to your build.prop file (located at /system):
Code:
[CENTER]qemu.hw.mainkeys=1[/CENTER]
And reboot.
Personal gov/sched combination
I personally use PegasusQ + SIOPlus

OTA UPDATES
- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.

I'm saying about screenshots from Ace 2 (i'm mostly talking about ram usage and smoothness).
If only it is easy like this to make CM official ROM xD
i don't get it. what's the difference between an unofficial ROM and an official one?
Not any bug deal but it is cool to have official rom support xD
I see no difference for end user (hmm at least codina user)

Hey all!
So this is Optima Team's take at Samsung's home baked OS, along with our additions!
Unlike Samsung's TouchWiz Nature UX, our TouchMod was created with the objective of speed and performance so that it wouldn't lag our outdated devices
We have taken Samsung Galaxy S3 4.1.2 as our base for TouchMod
As usual @F4uzan is the man behind L7 and me behind L5.
Great work has been done by him, so please thank him for this release!
ROM comes with following Samsung Apps:
S Voice
S Planner
S Memo
AccuWeather Widget
Samsung Gallery
Music Player
Samsung File Explorer
Samsung Calculator
Samsung Browser
Voice Recorder
Please read the instructions before flashing! This ROM is a bit different!

* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

Waiting for L5 now use to 4.1.2.(v20d)+root+cwm.thanks skyinfo.
so far the rom is pretty good, i just noticed that the ui crashes if i select flashlight there (dont know if the image helps) :
You are right, its really good on our aging device.
Well keep up the good work.
And by the way, stock kernel is better than f4kernel. F4kernel is little bit laggy.
BTW, somebody tried phenomkernel on this ROM?

BTW, phenomkernel is working good on this ROM. You can flash it over and replace the installed kernel.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.0 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Hi @Shreesha.Murthy,

This is dope! Thanks and good luck!
Download speed on data drops some times. While downloading from play store, 2 out of 8 apps failed.
Will keep updating bugs as I find them.
This is an alpha build still in testing phase so you may face any minor/major bug. It will be stable time to time. I hope you will understand.
