Has anyone tried this?
How about the signal since metal bumpers tend to interfere the reception?

The black one look gorgeous
Looks nice, but Seems like it would make it really square and uncomfortable. The Z2 is already bad enough and it doesn't look that thick.
As far as signal? I have no idea, but I'd imagine if that is all metal it would be horrible.
Does look good though.
Pics and no link? C'mon, OP..

Well, it is pretty cheap. Anyone going to pull the trigger and get one?

OMG... why would you want to turn your phone into a tank, plus it fugly as hell.
looks like a 2.5" HDD
Definitely gonna mess with antennas if that's real aluminum on the rear, no way around it. I think some aluminum cases avoided this by replacing the back panel with plastic, but they say it's all metal. I think some of these companies make cases first, ask questions later lol
If I wanted a phone that was uncomfortable to hold, I'd have gotten a Z2.

Has anyone tried/ordered either of these? I am wondering if those matte ones are rubbery, hope not. And if they are really thin...

I can't seem to find any other vendors of these, nor any US sellers. I guess I might just try some out. Will report how they look and feel if I do. Was hoping to get some type of feed back. I in particular like that glowing yellow.
Description states "polycarbonate" so they are stiff plastic. Please give a review when you get yours. Thanks.

The shinny/glossy ones seem obvious. I was wondering more about the matte/dull looking ones. I hate the rubberized ones that scrape and peel off.. Was trying to avoid those. Wanting at least a tiny bit flexible type plastic, would be nice, on the cheap
The stiff ones tend to snap, crackle and pop too easy..
I have the clear one,its ok but Im looking for something better

Hello XDA, I'm asking you help about my I9300 that has been victim of several paint scratches... (sammy's plastic is awful)
Here are some photos, I hope you could give me some tips on how to "fix" or at least mask this. Thank you.

1. replace the bezel
2. repaint the bezel
3. sharpie?
4. scratch off the rest of the paint so it's not noticeable!
Uh, interesting... I don't think I will ever find a sharpie matching the bezel color, neither I know what paint should I eventually use and what is the exact color I need... I actually even considered the 4th option already, but I think it is too drastic... About the 1st: how am I supposed to do that? D: I'll google it... Thank you very much for your answer!
Been considering using a metal ink pen to try on mine. Then buff it smooth. Got to be better than seeing black chips in silver.
Should be able to get a silver metal pen in a craft shop. Give it a go.
Whats a sharpie?
Edit: a sharpie is a pen doh! Just ignore me eh

IMHO, Except the color, I think I like the right one the most. It looks like the sides are rubberized which usually makes for a secure grip. On a phone as large as the SGN3, That is important to me.
I don't dislike the color in general, but it is one that will show grime from dirt and skin oils easily. Once I get comfortable with the feel of a case in my hands, I am hesitant to change it down the road. I would dislike changing the case 6 months or a year in because it looked bad, and I wouldn't want to pay to replace it at that stage of the SGN3's life either.
So... My vote is the Trident, in a darker color.
Depends what you are looking for? Personally I have the black and the white UAG cases and I just ordered the Trident Cyclops in black.
For best protection with port covers it would be Trident.
Stylish and good drop protection would be UAG
Port covers and good drop protection then Otterbox.

Anyone use these cases? What you think? I just ordered the silver.

I don't have one but have looked at it many times on ebay.
Makes me wonder if the back panel is gonna pop off if you drop the device and then the phone goes flying and the glass cracks in to thousand pieces?? ...the back panel is being put in place by some kind of snap on feature. I would Like to see screw assembly instead.

I have one that says Yoo Don on the packaging but it looks the same. I put it on and took it right back off because it is impossible to open charging flap with fingernail, might be able to with a knife tip or something. The back does indeed snap into place and seems pretty secure but wouldn't expect it to add any protection if phone was dropped.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I will let you know what I think when mine comes in a couple of weeks.

EDIT: Seems like im not the only one.. There is a Reddit post aswell about this, just one though:

Having the same issues here...
Any solutions?
Your case is rubbing against the tablet's back and rubbing out bald spots. The back cover is an ABS plastic frame spray-coated with a very thin layer of silicone rubber. Any friction applied to that rubber layer will result in bald spots, as it's a very non-durable material. Nothing you can do about it except stop using that case.
The n9 back is so sensible, mine is ruined by a rotating case that I bought to protect it ?
