[Q] Galaxy Nexus Prototype to update with custom Rom

Hello everyone
Hello I have a galaxy nexus prototype with nearly empty OS ( no marketplace sluggish, and many other not functioning features) - Probably it's related to the developer Ice crewm sandwich version - My question is how to get working with custom rom? You know what I mean ?
I want to fully operate with this phone
model # GT-I9250_EUR_XX,
andvers. ICS
KernelL 3.0.0-rc7 [email protected]#1
Build: full_maguro-eng ICS Master 100testkeys
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
In the Galaxy Nexus Android Development forums there is a sticky for clockwork mod recovery. You will have to flash that, then follow the instructions on one of the custom ROM's in that section.
Links ?
Dear Sir,
Thanks for your help
can you please provide me with 1,2,3 steps with links ?
Please
I just have that galaxy nexus and I can't use it up till now due to the buggy developer ICS

[Q] This is what i found... Really? Or Fake?

Today i found a post, it talks about a SG Star Stable ROM...
One of the fastest selling budget Android smartphone dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Star is now capable to be updated to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 via CM 10.1 custom ROM. The CM 10.1 custom ROM version specified for the Galaxy Star was really unstable during the past few weeks, however, now it is pretty stable and can give you some real time and good Jelly Bean 4.2.2 experience on your Samsung Galaxy Star S5280. So if you are interested in updating your Samsung Galaxy Star to Jelly Bean 4.2.2 via CM 10.1 ROM, read our guide below to ease our the process of flashing.
Do you want to test it?

I do not intend to advertise alternative development sites, but I'm curious to know about this rom, and also inform other people.

its just cm11 with android l theme n sum android l apps dat r evn available in playstore...... ya n offcourse build.prop edited
cool
It looks good
I expected it to be fake, and, surprise surprise, it is. Going to the description of the original video tells me this:
Here is the UNOFFICIAL CM12 for Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro With Android Lollipop 5.0.
Here is the link : http://www.techautogear.com/2014/11/...pop-50-on.html
I clicked on the link and it took me to the site. What the site told me was that it was NOT CM12. BUT IT DID SAY WAS THAT IT WAS A MODDED VERSION OF CM11. This got me REALLY excited. FINALLY, A WORKING VERSION OF CM11 FOR OUR DEVICE!
However, I scrolled down a bit and this is what it had to say:
"NOTE: This cm 11 rom contains three problems(bugs): sim, bluetooth and camera."
Sounds familiar eh?
These are the exact same bugs that our CM11 version has (from this thread). So, nope. Nothing new to see here, unless you want a modded half complete ROM.
Hello! No update since then ?

We need to wait for the Note 2 Official Update to lollipop , because Note2 and S3 I9300 have the same chipset . When Note 2 Will get 5.0 Lollipop then we will get PORTED ROM with S5/S6 Apps.
1. you posted a question in the development thread..please post questions in QnA thread :good:
2. no dice, BUT, if official sammy lollipop drops for the Note2, then you can safely assume ports will be done :good:
asdas
Expect note 2 official lollipop. If we come s6 application ports
Plus when note 2 lollipop drops along with its kernel sources our AOSP roms will also get much consistent .!!
So don't expect and to be honest I don't want samsung to give 5.0 because it will be heavily bloated and slow... its better to stick to AOSPs like ARCHI DROID which is so much better than the standard cyanogen mod , and the one that @JustArchi will release this time will be based on 5.1 and will have much deeper optimizations than any other rom.. So that in everyway Is a better choice ..
Samsung is one of the major OEMs which led to android fragmentation , so don't expect them to give a 2012 phone android 5.0 even though it can handle it pretty good but then again its touchwiz , which ruins everything .
That depend's on the user preferinces . I hate AOSP , i want a samsung phone not a htc !
