I was tinkering and benchmarking my moto e today when i found this awfully strange thing..
As per the specs at flipkart and elsewhere as well moto e is powered by Snapdragon 200 MSM8x10 CPU/Chipset and an Adreno 302 GPU.
However in the benchmarks i did Antutu X Benchmark shows
CPU Model Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8610 which is OK
&
GPU renderer Adreno 305 which confuses me totally.
Infact CPU Z and CPU Identifier both show the same thing.
I tested my sisters moto e and it too shows same results.
So i ask everyone whether they face the same issue ? Am i missing something here?? Is the app wrong or the specs given on flipkart are wrong or Have i received a faulty device??
Please give your opinions..
It's fine, the gpu is Adreno 302 but the renderer is Adreno 305.
Yes, the problem should be with the application bcoz why motorola will provide wrong gpu name and as per my knowledge adreno 305 is more powerful then the 302 variant.. So nthing to worry about.!! ?

If you want to know the processor speed, look at that. If you want to know how capable the GPU is, look that up. The DSP and cellphone chipset and their speed is rarely of interest to consumers, that's why that information is rarely provided, but all smartphones have both (although they may sometimes on the same die as the CPU)...

hmm in my personal opinion i would go for the nvidia gpu...dont know all the specs of both processors but have benchmarked two 1ghz dual core phones one with nvidia gforce and one with qualcomm adreno 205 and the gforce just is more overstanding with games benchmarks and videos but the mali that is inside the samsung galaxy s2 exynos beats them both

CPU 1 GHz Scorpion
GPU Adreno 205
What does the CHIPSET stands for i mean what is the work of chipset? is it a Mainboard??
Some people said the phone has Snapdragon processor but here it says Scorpion.Snapdragon is a processor or a chipset??

Snapdragon is a chipset, Scorpion is a CPU. Every computer nowdays has both CPU and chipset, including smartphones. Also, in smaller/portable devices GPU can be embedded into chipset. IIRC Snapdragon is one chip that contains it all, CPU, GPU and Chipset.
Motherboard is a board that contain those chip(s)

But I there is also xperia sp but with jst 1gb ram
So which will be future proof amongst the two

I am going to use d phone for about couple of years n other specs like camera also matters that's I included xperia sp as it may be awesome gaming but lacks camera performance n dual sim as it's an old device

The specs of moto g 2014 says a SD400 with adreno 305 450mhz single core gpu..
My note has a 1.4 ghz dual core 4210 cpu and mali 400mp.. which cpu/gpu is [email protected]?

Technology has come a long way since n7000.
Current cpu are better than the older ones.
Cpu and gpu are 2 different things.
Check the specs closely for moto.
It must be multicore cpu.
