Since I moved back to stock JB the default camera app has been bugging me, it lacks options to say the least. What app do you guys recommend?

Hi guys, i have AOSP 2.3.5 ROM installed on my i9100.
Works perfectly but i don't like Android Camera so i want to ask you if it's possible to install a different Camera.apk like Sensation's once or SGS2 itself!
PS: I hate all camera application in the Market

MIUI Camera works on sgs2, so does the hacked camera app from sgs1, it has some nice features missing from the sgs2, including a hardware shutter key, but yeah, if you find a good camera app PM me and ill syd

Do you have a link to the hacked apk?
I tried a few but I couldn't get it working, probably downloaded the wrong one
I think i need a Camera.apk compatible on my AOSP Rom, but i can't find it!
The camera from MIUI (the one with the ability to do 1080p video) FCs after pushing it to system/apps

If you have one that works, please let us know where to get it. AOSP/CM7 camera app (for a lack of a better word) sucks. I'd prefer the stock Samsung camera app, but that won't work on non-Samsung ROMs.

Tried it, but didn't like it. I haven't found any camera app on the market that I like. All of them have some kind of gimmick.
I just want one that gives the kind of features as the Samsung OEM camera or MIUI camera does without the ads and flashy gimmicks.

It would be really great if someone could port the stock Samsung camera app to CM10 Jelly Bean. It's the (only) advantage of stock ROMs.

I use CM10 now, but somehow I lose the CM camera app, so I don't have a camera app.
Anyone can share it?

It would be nice if some one port the samsung camera app :/
Guys we all love JB ROMS but the only thing we don't like is the camera quality ...camera app doesn't support more than 5MP and video recording is crap . So can any one PORT the stock camera app from ICS 4.0.4 to KXP and PAC ROMS .. then the ROM will be completed to full satisfaction
1+ on that, I cant even use the stock jellybean camera app on the FXP rom, it just lags and freezes.

I don't think this will ever happen.
To make photos up to 8mpx you can install a third party app.
OR
You can install PAC - default camera app is working pretty good and can take pics up to 8mpx

i using Camera FV-5 and Camera ZOOM FX ... u can try
... but PAC - default camera app is working fine as well

the interface is not handsome, but do the job fine, and can be tweak to look less ugly.
