Hey guys,
Recently i deleted everything in a drunken state, so i flashed Android revolution hd one 71.1 (after a couple of hours) using the htc all in one tool and sideload.
it installed, but now i stuck, cause it keeps booting into recovery (TWRP 2.6.3.0) and every attempt to flash the boot.img via fastboot fails
it says waiting for device all the time...
Could u guys please help me ;((

Early today, I was working on a G2 trying to get it rooted with a custom ROM installed. I managed to root the phone and disable the bootloader security. From here, I attempted to install clockwork recovery via rom manager... here's where the disaster starts.
Everything seemed to be going well (no errors), so I tried to load a custom ROM. The Rom installation started but failed partway through. This is when I noticed that the clockwork recovery wasn't working properly. It was flickering and none of the options worked (screen just flashed or turned black if you selected anything). So at this point, the phone would not boot since the ROM installation didn't complete, and I had a buggy recovery image installed.
Unfortunately, the fun doesn't stop here. I figured that I should load the PC10IMG.zip and start from scratch... bad idea. This flashed the bootloader (relocking it) then failed-- leaving me with a bad ROM, bad recovery image, and a locked bootloader. Luckily for me, I was able to use adb via the buggy recovery to unlock the bootloader again.
At this point, I got a bit antsy and jumped the gun. I decided to use fastboot to erase and load a new recovery image. Unfortunately, I realized that I didn't have a recovery.img file to flash... just after I used the fastboot erase recovery command.
I'm hoping that someone here has a recovery.img file compatible with the T-Mobile G2 so I can flash the recovery partition with fastboot. If anyone has any better ideas I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Install amon recovery. It's much better then clockword. Do it using adb
Sent from my HTC Hero using XDA App
Just an update. I couldn't get into adb but I was able to flash clockwork via fastboot. For whatever reason, the amon recovery would go through. Nevertheless, I installed cyanogen using clockwork and everything is gravy!
hey guys.
i unlocked my bootloader using CID method, flashed twrp, and installed the NOS sense 5 rom (didnt root)
the problem is, the phone is stuck on htc quietly brilliant screen. no budge
i tried using adb push to push roms to my phone, and i tried adb sideload
(tried both twrp and cwm)
using RUU gives me error 155 (always exits on "updating signature")
i am able to get into everything (recovery, bootloader, etc) just cant boot
any suggestions? :crying:
EDIT: solved, just had to flash the boot.img from the rom and all was good
Greetings!
I won't ask questions how its done (I have flashed custom roms for 2 years now), but now I've got a problem.
I'm Using HTC One X+ (ENRC2B_U, Hboot 1.72, Radio 3.1204.171.33, S-ON)
My problem now is that after last nighty cyanogenmod (20.05.2014) I cant boot my phone in recovery mode.
No one is working, CMW - not working (officialy bought), TWRP - not working (just black screen). I can boot my system using latest cyanogen. No errors in fastboot (fastboot flash recovery twrp.img), so I'm just little "confused" what to do next?
Can someone give me advice with this black screen problem? I also flashed original stock rom, it boot up, but customized stays black.
Best Regards to community.
Hi all
I am in big trouble. Please help me out.
I have HTC One X+ since last 1.5 years. It came with everything locked.
In order to install CyanogenMod i tried to root my HTC OneX+ and successfully did. The phone went back to factory settings.
After this, the real problem started. I downloaded a recovery.img and boot.img from somewhere over the net (I was careful but not sure if i downloaded the right one) and flashed it into my device. Afterwards, boom!!!!. My phone went into recovery loop and everything has been wiped out.
I am still able to fastboot it through my pc but nothing else.
Can anybody suggest what to do??
This is the right twrp recovery for the hox+:
http://dl.twrp.me/enrc2b/twrp-2.8.6.0-enrc2b.img
Download the rom you want to install and extract the boot.img from the zip.
In fastboot flash new recovery.Reboot into recovery and adb push rom's zip into your sd card.
Reboot in fastboot and flash boot.img.Reboot into recovery and flash rom.
Will try this and let you know. Thanks for the advise
If it doesn't work try to flash a working kernel first and then twrp recovery.

Because doing that will change the outcome.................Right?
It will make zero difference. The issue is the user.
As directed, i downloaded the twrp file and flashed it. Now the phone is getting into Recovery mode. Thanks!!
However, after that, i copied many compatible ROMs (Venom, Evagelincia, etc...), extracted their boot.img on my computer and flashed them one by one on my phone. Every time, the the process gets stuck. Each time i waited for 15-20 min for the boot to be flashed but nothing.
Did i miss something in between or i am not using the right boot.img?

cmd needs to have ADMINISTRATOR access for fastboot on windows or you need to use SUDO on linux
OF course i used CMD as ADMINISTRATOR
Hi, I 've been facing some weird thing trying to flash twrp, everytime I do that like:
fastboot flash recovery
OKAY OKAY
and then I reboot, when I try to get to recovery it's the stock recovery. I don't understand it.
Another thing that I'm trying to do is to flash phh-trebe arm aonly (this is the right one for this device right?) but as I cannot boot to TWRP, I 'm trying to flash this using flashtool. Everything flashes well, but when I try to boot, it just keeps rebooting (bootloops), don't even show bootanimation, only bootlogo... What can I do? Need help guys, first Xiaomi phone, this is completely nuts to me.
