These are my current settings :
NB5 Deoxed rom by archi
Greenified many apps including system apps
Free ram is always between 500-580
I didn't install any scripts. Only flashed the S5 aroma zip for s5 system ui and file manager.
Locations services disabled in settings.
Can someone please suggest what to do to reduce the battery drain?

Firstly you should post better results than that screenshot which should be for 1 cycle and use better battery stats to show what your phone is using
keep it on for 4-5 hours on standby after giving root permission and then check in partial wakelocks and kernel wakelocks..

Here's a thing. Are you on 3G? Because I can see that you have a bad network? Try to switch to 2g and check. The yellow line in network show that there are network breaks. It could be a reason for battery drain.
How old is your battery? Use Better battery stats or wakelock detector from Play store and check what the problem is. You can post a screen shot after one complete cycle.
Is Sync enables on your device?
Reboot your phone once before trying all this.

What kind of battery do you have?

Just curious what kind of battery do you have and where you purchased it at? Might be a reason why you are getting battery drain.

Widgetlocker draining battery

Hi. Yesterday I installed WidgetLocker and there's a huge battery drain. Phone was awake every time - also when screen is off. Here's a screenshot.

How can I fix this?
Thanks.
i have similar problems with the awake time but i can't seem to find the application responsible for it. How do you know that is widgetlocker(i dont have it install)?
you just installed it and the drainage happened or do you have some other application that keeps a history track of various applications battery usage?

I installed WidgetLocker and the battery life became horrible.
(You see that in the screenshot).
I have widgetlocker until now and it has not caused me any problems with the battery so far(if i'm gonna date it it's around the release of void.delta iirc) Did you try rebooting the phone after installing it?

I used it for over 3 days and did not have any problems with battery backup. Andy's ROM with Andy's kernel was what I was using at that time.
Installed two days ago. No battery drain.

[Q] need help with terrible battery life

I am having some terrible battery life problems - will upload the screenshot of battery monitor widget history when i get the photo
I am getting -41mA to -29mA overnight when I'm asleep. Is the phone awake or something? This is really strange, unless my battery is broken?
1. Was on VR2.4.2 but bad battery life
2. Re-ODIN'd to KH3 firmware
3. cleared cache/data/dalvik
4. Re-installed VR2.4.2 via SD card in CWM
5. Now on KH3 mode, VR 2.4.2 and ninpho 2.0.4
Can someone help me out please ?
I just installed Juice Defender and see how it goes

mate this wont show us the main problem.
if u are rooted - u may try following. just advice - cook your ROM through kitchen KH3 and pick only apps that u gonna need and try it. KH3 + speedmod kernel is working just amazing. no drain - no issue.
for battery usage i will recomend u to use betterbatterystats application that is published here on XDA - that app is able to track wakelogs and much more - that will give you more less the idea what can produce the high battery drain.
second disable fast dormacy -*#9900#
uncheck samsung apps notification
and there are much mroe options for you but this are the ones i could remeber right now.
What logs would you need?
I've read in the Litening forum, some guy said when the phone is idle/sleep , it should do about loss of 2-10mA
I used to get 3% loss overnight, not sure what changed. I dont have many apps/mods either
disable fast dormacy and use the juice defender. if u wont be satifsfied change ROM and compare yourself mate.
find the betterbatterystats app and install it - if u can read then u can find the problem yourself - believe me
If you're using Viber, I recommend you to freeze it with Titanium Backup. I was out of juice after maximum 6 hours of moderate usage. After freezing Viber I get over 50% battery left with 15-16 hours of moderate usage.

If you enable 3G and WiFi at the same time Android will only use one connection, first will try to connect via WiFi and if not will connect via 3G. It won't connect via WiFi AND 3G at the same time.
Yes its normal.
looks pretty similar to what I have seen on mine.
The main exception is the Awake time without the sreen being on? Maybe something still running. I found my biggest battery killer for backround apps was my Jorte / calendar running when using alarms on appointments.
stopped that and much better!
Alright thnx mate and how do u came to know that which app created problems regarding awake ?
seems to be awake for quite a bit there in the middle without the screen on. is that just music streaming??
its normal

no there was no music streaming done .. how can i know which app is making my phone awake ?
Better Battery stats is very helpfull for seeing what is potentially eating battery life, whilst the screen is of.
This is a thread on maximising battery life - quite helpfull! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351663&highlight=better+battery+stat
This thread explains and shows what Android OS is and is not - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18140918
Here is thread for better battery stats, well worth a read all the way through the first 2 posts - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
The partial Wakelocks was the most telling for me, cant remember the exect procces now but for me it was something like: android.starting.alarm.calendar (I know thats not it exact, but it was always high!!)

[Q] Prevent Google Play Services wakelock

I've tried some methods like:
App Ops (root) - Disabled location and wakelock
Wakelock Terminator - Prevent wake lock (with filters: NIpCollectorWakeLock NIpWakeLock CheckinService NetworkLocationLocator)
The battery usage is still high (higher than the screen usage), and the awake time on battery history occurs a lot (see image).
Has anyone fixed this? Or has anyone just generally improved battery life through something similar?
Kernal: 2.2 bonuzzz
ROM: Eudemony Rom Alpha V3
Thanks

I'll also give it a go. Trying with an app that simulates init.d executions also, so if it works, I may be able to automate it on boot.
Thanks for the heads up. Will report back in a day or so

Not sure it worked. I still don't have great battery life. Something is wrong, and my phone is constantly awake.

So, at the end of the day. I tried many different approaches to solve this issue such as:
preventing wakelock
using applications like greenify to reduce usage
removing google services permissions
preventing syncing
None of these seemed to help a lot (and some even made battery lift worse!).
So, I've removed all of my battery saving apps etc, and have just resorted to disabling location (when I don't need it).
That seems to have done the trick and my phone is no longer waking up nearly as much as it was before.
I know its not the best fix, and its just a band-aid, but its better than terrible battery life.
Hopefully someone has a better fix soon.
Thanks
Tried "Amplify"?
You could also try an Xposed Module called "Amplify" to limit your wakelocks. Look here "[Mod][Xposed] Amplify - Battery Extender - Control alarms, services, and wakelocks" for detailed information.
You will need root and Xposed Framework.

Is this normal standby drain for my S10 lite?

Spoiler
https://imgur.com/a/ZfRFLar
It's around 1.7%/h for my Snapdragon S10 lite. Is this normal?
It's normal if some media is running in background, for example. My phone has an average of 0,8%/hour according to AccuBattery.
turn off Bixby and google
turn off adaptive brightness
Seems a little high but I'm on a 10+ with 4300ma battery. Adjust accordingly to your battery capacity.
Nominal AOD battery usage should be about 1% an hour. You can enable tap on for AOD to help determine the source of the drain; usage should be very low like that.
Goggle Backup Transport and Backup Transport Framework were causing excessive battery drain for me both with SOT and off.
Update: left my phone at 99% and woke up to 80%
Here is the usage: GSAM
Look at the 5h of Significant Motion Detector usage of Google Play Services and how the Netflix app is using so much battery (I never opened that app since buying the phone...)
I then proceeded to install Better battery stats and found after some hours of usage a huge Spotify battery drain related to the Linear acceleration sensor.
I am getting kind of tired. Since I started using android (Nokia X2, Lenovo K6 power, Redmi note 7 then S10 lite), I have had some kind of a battery drain on all of those devices. Getting tired of troubleshooting problems rather than use the damn phone.
Ditch spotify or lock it down.
You probably have more crapware...
You need to learn how to optimize these phones.
Play with it.
Hey guys its me again.
I disabled Spotify and still have 20% drain overnight...
What can I do please?
it's great

Install Galaxy Labs>Battery Tracker from the Galaxy store and see what apks it shows is running at night.
Wipe cache in recovery. View what app use your battery. If this don't help make HR (hard reset and wipe all data , ) if this don't help use guarantee ...
I manually updated to One UI 3.0.
No more battery drain as far as I can tell. I will update with overnight drain.

Give a few days especially if power management is enabled.
