My xperia z ultra have a very poor signal and the problem is not from sim or network coverage. I tested both. Is there a solution?

I am planning on purchasing the Xperia Z Ultra for use in the US. I have noticed that Sony has several models of this phone -
Sony Xperia Z Ultra HSPA+ C6802
Sony Xperia Z Ultra LTE C6806
Sony Xperia Z Ultra LTE C6833
My intention at this point is to use it with T-Mobile LTE service. I realize that the C6802 will not do. How about the other two? Would both C6806 and C6833 be fully LTE compatible on T-Mobile US?
At some later date I may want to use it with AT&T or AT&T MVNO. Would both C6806 and C6833 be compatible with them?
Also, I travel often abroad and want to be able to purchase a local SIM cards in the countries I visit. Which of the two LTE phones will work better internationally?
In non technical terms - what’s the difference between the C6806 and C6833 and why Sony has both?
Which of the above two has the same network compatibility as the Google Play version?
Thanks in advance for any input and help.

Hi. I must say that I'm on t-mo and I bought my C6802 ultra since it came out and I has to say that when it comes to internet speed on HSPA+ not one I've had a complaint HSPA+ is fast enough for me here in denver co. Unless you really want to have LTE. I use slingplayer internet radio without lag. But then again not all phones are the same meaning may be I'm a lucky one that my phone s fast on my network.

I was sure I made a thorough search... I must have overlooked it.
Sorry and thanks for the link to all the info I need!
Any T-Mobile USA owner now there, can you please confirm that with an active T-Mobile SIM, can you do Wi-Fi calling on this Sony Z Ultra? If so, was the Z Ultra a Sony version, or GPE? Thanks!

Tmobile wifi calling working only with Tmobile certified phones., which is on sale in tmobile stores.
Xperia Z Ultra and Z Ultra GPE don't have that future.
If you have a choice buy Sony version of Z Ultra. Why ? There is many posts about it.
Regards
Well...
Here is the thing, I have a MetroPCS Alcatel OneTouch Firece, I unlocked it, put my T-Mobile SIM into it, and I was able to make Wi-Fi calls.
Obviously, this phone is not a T-Mobile certified phone, it does not have any T-Mobile software on it, and, when I am in-door with no cell signal, the phone shows MetroPCS, so what gives?

Hi Everyone,
I'm planning to buy Xperia Z2 (D6503) but I couldn't find clear answers for below:
1. Is 4G sim card GSM or CDMA based service?
2. Are Xperia Z2 4G bands compatible with Verizon's bands in model (D6503)?the specs shows band 4 &13 is already included in D6503.
3.How can I get the APN for Xperia Z2 in order to activate 4G LTE?is it from Verizon or another source?
Big thanks in advance for the help and my apologies for bad English.

Thanks a lot for help, is there any compatibility issue that prevents Verizon from activating? or just Verizon being itself? I always have bad experience when it comes to their technical support.
Regards,
Its Verizon being Verizon. They won't activate anything not officially Verizon
Hello,
I wanted to ask you one
one thing my Sony z Ultra (6802) shows MSM8974 processor. as per Qualcomm website MSM8974 has built in support for 4G LTE.
So can I flash my phone with firmware of Sony z Ultra 6833. For enjoying 4G LTE. If yes do provide me with the links for stock Sony z Ultra 6833 firmware.

This may help. But i am not sure if it'll also help to unlock LTE connectivity.

seems good,
but I need to change variant of the phone in order to support it... Well I'll try these when it's out of warranty.
The other way I have heard is to unlock bootloader then again lock it when done.
And yes it is tricky
I don't wanted to mess up with firmware it might brick my cell...
* Actually I am new to these things *

MSM8974 can support LTE but C6802 doesn't. It doesn't matter what ROM you flash to C6802. I would suggest selling that phone and get another Z Ultra variant if LTE is important to you.
Got a Sony Xperia XA Ultra F3216 Dual Sim on Tmobile USA network which limit me to 2G setting. Is there anything I can do to upgrade it to 3G or LTE so that my connectivity will be better? Bought this phone online and was not informed it was an International Version whereas I can not enable/disable APN settings for Tmobile because it was grayed out. My phone is already in Nougat. Anybody who can help or give some information will be highly appreciaited. thanks!

Hi, you can sell your phone and go buy a F3213. Sorry but it's not a joke, the F3216 have a bad compatibility with T-mobile network, look here to understand :
