Hello everyone
If I unlock the bootloader and root my Moto E am I still going to be able to get system updates, imagine, if I root and unlock bootloader and then update for android 4.4.4 comes out, can I update it, or is there going to be some problem?

There is still some confusion as Motorola is bound to release 4.4.4 so may be those who are on 4.4.2 will directly go to 4.4.4

CM 11 / SlimKat / BeanStalk [4.4.4] Custom ROMs are not stable ...still in initial builds...
but
Motorola will release official/Fully Stable 4.4.3 Updates..
In future,we will get 4.4.4 / 5(Android L) after Motorola's official announcement.

I did mine the other day. It's syil 108. When I tried to use easy root it didn't work. But I went to towel root website and downloaded the apk and rerooted that way and then installed supersu in market. Im on locked bl at the moment.

Ok I'm done with the update. Just to be clear, you're saying that easy root, something designed to root Xperia devices, doesnt work but the normal towelroot does?
Note: I dont mean to come across as condescending, I'm just making sure.

Yes. For me on a locked bl. Both the easy root tool for Xperia devices and nuts dual boot didn't work for me rooting wise. I used towel root itself and then installed supersu and then used dual boot recovery installer and got my recovery back. But you may have different results.

Nope its still 108. But its 4.4.4 instead of 4.4.2 so I dont really know what 133 firmware could bring to the table. The next version of android is already Android L so 133 should technically be Android L which isnt even released yet... Not sure whats happening.
And i think what hes saying is that the newest version of 108 patches against easy root. I think you're using the older 108 firmware, which is still rootable by easy root.
if someone recives the Update .133 can you test this, please:

.133 will not be android L or 5.0 it is likely to be a carrier update like 118 is or just a minor update

That's normal. It just changes from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4. I think Sony didn't think it was big enough an update to change the build number.
So apparently cm13 has just been released to our device , is this legit?

Ah my bad i see now i did a little digging around , dang that sucks.
Great news! I have an MDK S4. One (noob) question though, I went to the official forum for CM 13 for the S4, and it says they recommend TWRP 2.8.7.2 to install it... but I have version 2.6.0.0. Should I get 2.8.7.2 to install it, or will 2.6.0.0 be sufficient? If I have to do that, then how do I upgrade my version? Thanks!
Twrp manager in play store can update the recovery
As I said in the title I've got an LG K7 AS330 and I want to know if anyone knows of a rom for this unlocked LG phone. It is already been rooted with kingroot and verified with rootchecker. A version of Lollipop or marshmallow that fixes the Wi-Fi problems.

i'm going to go out on a limb here and say its the same phone as the metro pcs(ms330), and tmobile version, we just today got a recovery that can actually be booted from the hardware buttons, so at the moment no, there are 3 or so people that said they were going to port cm 13 and one of them bricked his phone(before twrp could be reached without adb) so there might be luck in the future just not now.

My wifi is bugged even with out root I spoke to LG and they know of the issue being in many Lollipop phones especially the 5G wifi bug but have no info on if we will ever get patched since the issue with the version has been around since before the K7 was even out.

Att hasn't switched to 5 yet the latest firmware is still 4 , I went from u firmware to att and sideload the oreo update still in bootloader 4 so I am able to go back to other firmware with ease ,but no root for oero so far the eng boot img doesn't work on oreo and haven't seen one yet , also there is no OEM unlock in dev options as we may still never get an unlocked bootloader with the two step boot that I've read oero has but the oreo firmware is nice seems like s8 though and Bixby is working ,but I would wait on official firmware ,so var sprint and Verizon are locking bootloaders so we can't switch carriers which we legal can do , so I'm assuming other companies are to follow
Hi Folks!
Single thread for all the fastboot flashable stock firmwares and official OTAs.
Captured OREO 8.1.0 OTAs can be found in a separate folder, Check the region specific folders and DO READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE FILES FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Make sure you are on unmodified stock rom with build number NPSS26.116-61-11(For RETIN Region OTA) and NPSS26.116-64-11(For RETBR Region OTA) before flashing/installing it, or else it wont flash/install.
Bootloader status does NOT matter, so unlocked guys can install it too, just make sure you have flashed stock first via fastboot.
Edit: Uploaded the fastboot flashable firmware OPS28.65-36.
Those who have unlocked bootloader can flash it via fastboot.
Locked bootloader ones can use the OTA files but make sure you are on eligible firmware.

Suggestions:
Never re-lock your device's bootloader.
Never downgrade your firmware.
