Ready for a story?
Screen cracked on the ultra. Really don't know why, always take care of it. Anyway claimed insurance on both of my dead ultras, and got two Z2's. One for me and one for the wife. They arrived yesterday.
I loved that bloody phone, but it was just too early in its adoption. The next gen will be body good, but I couldn't wait.
Gotta say the 20mp Camera is bloody impressive.
But I miss that screen size!

Oy! Thank you! I got sent on a short vacation for a couple of days after I went "a little" overboard, and I totally deserved it. No question about that :laugh: I believe it's known that I have a very short fuse around here, and I do and will explode very easily, which is incredible strange since I'm the least aggressive human being in the west in real life. Let's hope it'll be a while until next time :fingers-crossed:

I'm in the US for one thing. Also the prices for the 7500 are more expensive than the $853 shipped from Amazon with overnight delivery.
Well its pretty and all, and nice to see a pic, but no VGA resolution has just killed my excitement. I just dont know who to blame, Microsoft, or HTC. Im personally thinking WM6 supports VGA, HTC just hasnt given us the tool.

Well just wanted to thank all the devs for making this device better and everybody else. I lurk mostly but, I'm always around and appreciate everyone here. I would of stayed but sprint low balled me and would not give me an early upgrade when my contract was opt out eligible so i jumped, I'll miss the 3d nice device that holds up pretty good even after almost a year release. Good luck on a speedy ics release, and if anybody is thinking about getting the galaxy nexus from sprint, don't waste your two year on it, its nice as hell but not a big enough jump up to blow your upgrade on. OK so nobody cares I'm out.
I feel ya. No point in getting the Galaxy Nexus anymore since another great phones are out. But in my opinion, im an AOSP guy so I would still probably get it but only on Verizon. Otherwise, I'd get the Droid Razr Maxx or Nokia Lumia 900. They're the only phones that have my attention.

check out foldermount. might help with the pain of the smaller storage size. basically moves data to the external SD, but leaves a symlink on the internal so that apps, etc that point to that directory can still access the files. obviously not the same as a larger internal storage, but at least it helps.
I didn't figure it was going to take long for the phone to be rooted, and custom recoveries/roms installed. It didn't take long for the GS3 to fall to the modding community.
Once you root, NO MORE OTAS!!!!
People will read that, and still do it anyway, and well, that's on them.

I'm going to try out stock for at least a few days. I'm coming from a DINC2 running CM7 in preparation for this. It's going to be a nice boost in every regard, I think.
The lure of root is tough to beat, though. I've only ever had HTC smartphones, so I've been used to waiting a month or two for root. This might be tough.

it was just the handset. i was moving the base when the handset fell from about 1-2 feet straight onto the screen.
what i just noticed is the reflection in the picture. its mocking me! lol

lol i using my work phone for the time being.
back on my htc one as my personal.
so i filed a claim through assurant. ehh. not looking good. they dont have the lg g2 in the system. the rep was trying to give me the lg g2x. lol. i explained to him the lg g2 is a new phone that just was released. he said it wasnt showing up in the system. i was like its probably cuz the phone doesnt official, release until this wednesday.
i checked my claim today online to see whats up. (had to fax in a document also). they revived the document. so that was good. but the device being claimed was the lg g2x. i was like wtf. called them asap. talk to a rep. explained th phone situation. she made sure that they had to call me before processing the claim to make sure i get the phone that i am supposed to get. she said to call back in 3 days.
dont like this process. why offer insurance if they dont have anything. gonna talk to tmobile in a few days
2 weeks later with the insurance (huge headache i might add), i finally got a replacement yesterday. looked brand new in box. except the stickers were cut, so dunno.
