you're doing smth wrong, basically i did what you wrote, and everything works flawlessly.

Nvm, I reflashed the ftf, rooted and made sure no system apps where being restored with titanium backup. So far it's maintaining root.

I use Titanium Backup. It's in the market and I've never bad any problems with it. You will need to be rooted in order for it to work.

ubt seem to work fine for me. was simple enough to set up and backup. kinda doesn't let you know when it finishes backing up and restoring but otherwise fine. have only tried it on while flashing the same stock rom I had. I'll probably have to try another after flashing li2

Download root checker from playstore to be sure that it's rooted
If it's rooted, uninstall TB and install it again. If it's not working uninstall superuser and install SuperSU from playstore :good:

Xpposed installer

My friend is in Me7 and is rooted with no recovery. Can he use xpposed? Has anyone tried it? And is it risky with no backup?

I use it on ME7 rooted. Just in case always good to backup with Titanium Backup or some such.

App Force Closing after restore with Rom Toolbox

So, I flashed Android Revolution HD 40.0 and everything went swimmingly. But when I restored my app+data backups with Rom Toolbox Pro, they crashed after trying to open them. I tried restoring them multiple times to no effect. This forced me to go back to my previous ROM backup. Is there a solution for this? I think it's a problem with Android 4.3.
